As we begin we have our Gear making his way to Ozpins office to get a briefing.

As Carmine gets to the door it swings open to reveal a man at least 6ft with white clothing and black and gray hair.

Ozpin: Ah carmine glad you can make it, this man is General Ironwood of the Atlas Forces.

Ironwood: I heard much about you Carmine, nice to meet you - He puts his hand out for a shake-

Carmine shakes Ironwoods hand.

Carmine: Nice to meet you too Sir.

Ironwood: I like your armor, is it bullet proof?

Carmine: Mostly..

Ironwood: Ah..i see well I might use it for some of my troops if you don't mind.

Carmine: Be my guest sir.

Ironwood: Well I better be going, I will see you around Ozpin.

Ozpin: goodbye James.

Carmine Salutes: Goodbye General.

Ironwoods salutes in return: as you were soldier.

Ozpin: Come with me Carmine, I gotta get your briefing started.

Carmine:Yes professor.

Carmine and Ozpin walk into the office and Ozpin takes his seat as carmine takes his helmet off and sits down.

Ozpin: Now I understand your fighting skills are admirable but can you handle other people with guns?

Carmine: If I handled The Locust just as well then I can handle some criminals with guns.

Ozpin: Good. You are heading to Quadrant 3 for a assassination mission, kill everyone and the base leader. The gang is called White Fang.

Carmine: Any other details about them?

Ozpin: If you see any supplies there be sure to destroy them any way you can.

Carmine: Yes sir.

Carmine: When does this mission begin?

Ozpin: As soon as you leave my office, there's a dropship waiting for you, your team will not be accompanying you and you will not have any back up.

Carmine: I understand, i will see you when I get back - he puts his helmet back on and heads out to the dropship-

As he walks to the dropship with his Retro Lancer in hand and Longshot on his back he hears his team behind him.

Ruby: Carmine, where you going?

Carmine: I got a mission to wipe out some White Fang in Quadrant 3

Blake: Are you serious!?

Carmine: Is..there a problem?

Blake: May I talk to you for a second?

Carmine: Um sure Blake..

They walk off into the dropship.

Blake: I am a faunus and I was apart of that gang, they are just misguided but if you can try to wound them I would hate to see you come back covered in their blood.

Carmine: my orders are clear but if I can find a way Blake, I will try to spare some.

Blake hugs him: Thank you Benjamin.

Carmine returns the hug: Anytime Blake, I got to go ok?

Yang bites her tongue as she wanted to hug carmine for goodluck.

Blake: Ok good luck.

Yang gives Carmine a pouting a face.

Carmine: What you want a hug too?

Yang jumps up and down a bit and hugs Carmine.

Carmine: Better Yang?

Yang: Yes and good luck

Ruby: Good luck soldier -she salutes Carmine-

Weiss: Good luck Benjamin -she pats his shoulder pad-

Carmine: Thanks girls, I will see you when I return.

Carmine walks onto the dropship and sits down with this Retro Lancer on his lap.

Pilot: I got the coordinates from Ozpin, we are heading out now sir.

Carmine: That's good, let's roll.

Pilot: Affirmative.

The dropship begins to lift up off the ground and the girls are standing there watching the ship fly off into the distance.

Ruby: You really like him don't you Yang..

Blake: I don't blame her...

Weiss: And we can help you two get together

Yang: Well maybe the dance can settle that

Ruby: Good idea sis

Over to Carmine.

Pilot: you ready sir?

Carmine: Lets do this

The dropship door opens up and carmine jumps out.

Carmine signals off the pilot and the dropship leaves the area.

Carmine: time to find the targets..

Carmine begins to walk about and hears the sound of dropship and follows the sound to a location that has people in the description Ozpin provided him.

Two dropships fly over head Carmine and make their landing near the base.

Carmine: Better get a closer look - he pulls out his Longshot and scopes in to get a better look-

Carmine: Hmm those must be the supplies Ozpin was talking about..i could shoot those to cause a decent explosion.

Carmine aims his scope aligned with a set of canisters that contain dust in its raw form.

Carmine: Annnd fire.

Carmine pushes the trigger and the shot rings out as the bullet strikes the canisters and the explosion rings out engulfing some of the gang members in its flames and throwing some of the members from its force.

Carmine: Woooo - he puts his Longshot on his back and begins charging with his Retro Lancer-

White Fang1: Who is that!?

White Fang2: A Huntsman!?

White Fang cpt. No matter he's just another lap dog for Ozpin...kill him.

Carmine roadie runs through the gunfire as he stops and gets into cover and starts blind firing at the gang members.

Carmine: Shit..im sorry Blake.

Carmine peeks out and aims down his sights and fires hitting a member in the head killing him instantly.

Carmine: Hmm maybe she won't know.

White Fang1: GET HIM!

Carmine peeks out again and fires killing the rest that were in front of him.

He begins to move up as he is being fired at from the base and from the higher floors.

Carmine Charges and slices a gang member then knocks him down and curb stomps him.

Carmine: Piece of shit.

Carmine keeps moving to head further into the base and clears out the hallways, he heads to the top floor to find the Captain holding a Baseball bat that turns into a assault rifle.

White Fang Cpt. My men...my troops all slaughtered by you.. YOU WILL PAY

Carmine gets into cover and blind fires.

The Captain hangs back and is in cover and then charges towards carmine, the Captain comes up and knocks Carmines Retro Lancer away from him and smacks him across the face with his baseball bat.

Carmine falls face first and is being beaten down by the Captain, As Carmine is taking his beating he feels a burst of adrenaline rushing through him and he springs up and catches the bat and head butts the Captain forcing him to let go, Carmine holds the bat and smacks the Captain in the back of his legs causing him to fall to the floor .

Carmine: My turn.

Carmine lines the bat up with the Captains head and starts smacking it over and over and over til his skull cracks open letting his brains spill out.

Carmine: Wow...blake is gonna kill me if she knew...but oh well time to get out of here and call the pilot.

Carmine exits the base with his Longshot and Retro Lancer in hand.

Carmine: Pilot this is Carmine, I'm ready for extraction.

Pilot: Copy that, I am on my way ETA 5 minutes.

Carmine: Affirmative, have a safe flight ya?

Pilot: I will try sir.

As Carmine is waiting for the pilot to arrive he is thinking about his squad fighting the Locust and how they are doing.

Pilot: I am here sir.

Right on time the dropship appears in front of carmine, he walks over and gets in and heads back to Beacon to be greeted by the girls and to give Ozpin his report on his mission.

Carmine heads to Ozpins office and knocks on the door.

Carmine: Professor it's Carmine.

Ozpin: Come in.

Carmine opens the door and is met with Winter Schnee and Qrow next to Each other.

Ozpin: Carmine have you met Winter Schnee?

Carmine: No sir -as he looks at her-

Winter: Its nice to finally meet you Benjamin -she puts her hand out-

Carmine:Likewise Ms.Schnee

Winter: Heh, please you may call me Winter

Carmine: As you wish.

Ozpin: Well now that's out of the way, Carmine you are offically a Huntsman Apprentice, these two you can choose to shadow.

Qrow: Pick me cause I am cool and laid back unlike miss army over here.

Winter squints her eyes at Qrow: As the drunk says but if you choose me you can become the soldier you always wanted to be.

Carmine: Ah..hm but you both use melee weapons as I use range..

Qrow: My scythe is also a gun

Winter: I can summon glyphs for ranged attacks.

Carmine: I can only spray bullets so..how is this gonna work?

Qrow: I can teach you in hand to hand, she can teach you planning and the role of a soldier

Winter: That's right

Carmine: Alright then, professor I choose both

Ozpin: Then we are agreed, but at least try to make it easy on him since he has no aura or sembalence.

Qrow: Got it

Winter: Understood Professor.

Qrow: We begin tomorrow morning understood?

Carmine Salutes the two: Yes sir and Ma'am.

Ozpin: Carmine you are dismissed you may head back to your dorm and rest for your training.

Carmine: Yes sir.

Carmine walks out and heads to his dorm.

In Ozpins office.

Winter: I don't see the downside with that boy

Qrow: He slaughtered an entire outpost of white fang...on his own

Winter: And?

Qrow: We need him if we are beat to Salem.

Ozpin: Agreed which is why you two will train him cause he also can't use his weapons in the Vytal Festival.

Winter: That's true, he could kill students by mistake.

Qrow: Which is why we are gonna make him a hand to hand specialist til he gets weapons for the Vytal festival.

Ozpin: Agreed, we will discuss the rest tomorrow, see you two in the morning.

Winter and Qrow: See you Ozpin.
