As we begin with our heroes are making their way towards Atlas with their truck full of ammo along with the passengers of team RWBY and JNPR and Oscar and Qrow and the little old lady.

Qrow glances over at the Carmine brothers and looks down.

Clayton: Something on your mind Birdman?

Qrow: How long did the war last in your world?

Benjamin: It's still on going...from what I remember

Clayton: Ben is right, they were never stopped but only momentarily due to our light mass bomb..but they survived and came back after us.

Qrow: So are they unstoppable?

Benjamin: No its just we need a better way of killing them, like some kind of superweapon, more then a Lightmass bomb and the Hammer of Dawn.

Ozpin takes over Oscar.

Ozpin: The Hammer of Dawn?

Baird speaks up.

Baird: It's not what you think Professor Ozpin, the weapon is a hand held device that a soldier will carry which can aimed to let out a signal towards satellites in orbit which can triangulate on the intended target and release a beam of energy from the skies down onto poor son of a bitch standing underneath.

Ozpin: Interesting

Baird: But the downside is you must have open sky to use the weapon, which means you must be out in the open to use it.

Qrow: Well thats kind of stupid

Baird: It is but it helps when you got a squad defending you.

Ruby: So..the Locust, are there different kinds like the Grimm?

Marcus: All kinds.. you got Drones which are your standard grub infantry unit, then you got Snipers.

Benjamin and Clayton: Fucking hate Snipers..

Marcus: you got Butchers, Boomers, Grinders they are the big heavy guys, slow moving targets, then you got Bolters and Grenadiers, Bolters are fast and only use a pistol, Grenadiers are intelligent but still easy to kill, they carry a shotgun, pistol and some grenades.

Ruby: So they have elite groups as well?

Dom: Thats right, they got one called Theron Guards, they are the smartest of them all and well trained.

Yang: Then how come we haven't encountered them yet?

Baird: I'm not sure if they came into this world yet..I'd hope not

Cole: Well at least there isn't a Brumak around right?

Clayton: Come on Cole don't jinx us man

Jaune: A Brumak?

Cole: Brumaks are big creatures kinda like a Dinosaur but with machine guns on their wrists and a rocket cannon on their back.

Ruby: That sounds awesome but not very easy to fight on foot

Marcus: Ya your telling me...done that one too many times.

Ren: So they wear armor similar to yours?

Marcus: Ya sort of but as you can see it still don't stop a chainsaw or bullets

Ren: Right, but what about the Therons?

Dom: The Theron armor isn't really all that great but no matter what they wear they can still be killed just like the rest...except the armored Kantus..

Marcus: Ya I forgot to mention that one...

Baird hits a pothole and the truck stalls.

Marcus: Baird the truck stalled!

Baird: No shit! -he tries to start it-

Baird: Shit, I gotta look underneath, everyone cover me.

Delta squad and RWBY and JNPR all pile out as Qrow and Oscar follow them.

Everyone has their weapons drawn keeping their wits sharp and their eyes focused for any movement.

Benjamin: How much longer Baird?

Baird: Another 10 or 15 minutes, Something is broken, Cole could you grab my tools from the cab?

Cole: Sure Baird.

Cole goes to the cab and grabs Bairds tools and as Cole comes back a bullet goes over his head.

Cole: Woah contact!

Dom: Over by the tree!

A hissing sound is heard.

Dom: Hear that?

Marcus: Was it the wind?

Baird: When was the last time the wind said "Hostiles" to you?

The Theron peeks out and fires another shot.

Dom: Great we got Therons now..

Benjamin: We got Drones over here, everyone find cover and keep your heads down!

The girls and the others take cover and begin to engage in a firefight.

Drone: FRAG OUT!

Benjamin: Incoming Frag, everyone Down!

The Frag lands near team JNPR and it goes off throwing dirt and shrapnel, the shrapnel hits Pyrrha in her leg.

Pyrrha lets out a painful scream.

Jaune: Pyrrha you ok?

Pyrrha: No! There is a piece of that grenade in my leg Jaune!

Jaune peeks out and shoots a Drone in the head.

Ren: Pyrrha think you can make it?

Pyrrha: I can try.

Nora levels her boomshot and fires in between the trees that the locust are using as cover and she sees red midst and body parts flying about.

Ren: My Oum Nora...you just

Nora: Yep, thats what they get for messing with our teammate.

Pyrrha then tries to stand but hears a twig snap to reveal a Bolter sprinting right for her.

Bolter: DIE GROUNDWALKER!!

Jaune sees this and takes his Lancer and revs his chainsaw bayonet and shoves it into the Bolter as he was charging, Jaune then lifts up and throws the Bolter off his bayonet.

Pyrrha: Jaune...

Jaune continues his firefight.

As the others are engaging the Locust, One Theron gets witty and tries to flank the group but with Jack around it is not possible.

Jack hovers while he is cloaked and zaps the Theron to get his position noticed.

Benjamin: THERON TO OUR RIGHT!

Clayton: I got em.

Clayton rushes over and catches the Theron off guard and grabs him by the throat and crushes his windpipe, as the Theron is gasping for air, Clayton takes a Frag grenade primes it and shoves it into the Therons mouth then pushes him towards the other Locust to create Red Rain.

Marcus: Sucks to be them...

A Drone gets a drop on Weiss and manages to disarm her, as she tries to fight back the Drone scratches her chest with his claws and slashes upwards at her face as she lands on the ground and begins to crawl away.

Drone: *snarls* Crawl to my feet weakling.

Marcus sneaks up and grabs the Drone from behind and kicks his leg from behind him then Marcus takes his knife and jams it into the Drones head then pulls out as blood squirts out.

Marcus extends his hand offering to help Weiss up, she accepts and he takes her to better cover after recovering her Lancer.

Weiss: Thanks Marcus..

Marcus: No worries..we can patch you up alright?

Weiss nods.

Marcus: Benjamin, we got two wounded now, whats our escape plan?

Jaune: We are retreating!?

Benjamin: No, we are gonna make a break for it so we can regroup and heal the wounded, you wouldn't want to lose a team member right?

Jaune glances over to Pyrrha.

Jaune: You're right, lets get ready to move.

Ren:Nora give us a smoke screen

Nora: My pleasure.

Nora fires into the leaves to spark some flames, as the flames grow, so does the smoke, as the Gears take the wounded away and make their way from the trapped truck, they seek refuge in a cave un-occupied til now.

Blake: That was a close one..now we are sidetracked and have no transportation..or ammo

Baird: Ah damn it your right...we left all our ammo back in that FUCKING truck..

Ruby: Swear Jar Baird!

Yang: Ruby seriously that swear jar is making you more rich then a store clerk...

Ruby: Someday I will get all of your money for this swear jar.

Ruby laughs evil like.

Weiss: Good thing I am already rich

Ruby: That makes you a decent target but with Delta here and I already know they are prone to swear.

Cole: Lil Rose bud is right...Damn I hate being caught up in this

Dom: At least I don't owe her 20 bucks

Marcus: Ya but you owe me 20 bucks

Dom: Oh ya? See me after we kill Salem.

Marcus: You son of a bitch, that is a hell of a bet there

Ruby: Damn Marcus I got at least almost 20 dollars out of your swears.

Ren: Swear Jar Ruby, you said Damn

Ruby: No...I didn't I never would say such a thing that is very unlady like.

Yang: Ruby...you carry a scythe nothing about you is elegant besides your dress

Blake: Well how bout we stop aruging and start worrying bout a fire, some food and a way to get our truck back?

Oscar: Well Blake has a point, I can go look around for some wood.

Clayton: Guess I will search for food, Dom wanna go with?

Dom: Ya let's go.

Oscar walks off to find wood, as Dom and Clayton head out to search for food.

Weiss: So Benjamin, your brother was in the COG before you signed up right?

Benjamin: Ya, He has seen alot more worse then I have.

Clayton: Thats right, but story time can wait once we are out of this predicament.

Dom sees Jaune trying to reload his lancer.

Dom: You good Jaune?

Jaune: Ya but I can't get it, I keep jamming it

Jaune gets up and approaches Dom to show him.

A Sniper sees Jaune moving and scopes in and fires, the bullet travels and hits Jaune right into his temple instantly killing him.

Pyrrha: JAUNE NOOO

Dom: SNIPER GET DOWN.

Ren snatches the longshot off Benjamins back and scopes in and sees the Sniper relocating, Ren leads the target and fires blowing the Snipers head off.

Ren: Take that! We will kill all of you!!

Clayton: Bro we gotta go!

Benjamin: EVERYONE MOVE OUT AND SPREAD OUT

As everyone runs out of the cave with Qrow carrying Pyrrha and following Marcus as they head out to find new shelter and to lose the Locust.

As time goes on everyone spread out running from the area that their comrade Jaune was just killed at.

The Carmine brothers stuck together as did Team RWBY and Ren and Nora followed Qrow and Oscar as the rest of Delta ran off towards the area with the truck.

Benjamin: Jack, set up a commlink with Marcus.

Jack beeps but malfunctions and sends out a singal that the Locust pick up on.

Benjamin: Marcus come in

Marcus: Fenix here, that you Benjamin?

Benjamin: Ya, I think Jack had a lil malfunctions, Baird needs to look at him

Baird: I hear ya, what did he do?

Benjamin: Not sure yet but I got a bad feeling about it

Clayton: Where did you guys run off too?

Dom: Near the truck, it looks clear, where did the girls and the birdman go?

Benjamin: They ran opposite of us, I can try to find them and bring them back to the truck

Marcus: Good idea, Baird may have it fixed by then

Baird: Hopefully.

Benjamin: I hope so, Carmine out.

Clayton and Benjamin turn around and start to head towards Team RWBYs direction.

Team RWBY.

Yang: I can't believe they got Jaune..

Ruby: I know...Pyrrha must be torn apart by it

Weiss: Ya..poor girl but we should link up with the Carmines, and then find the others

Blake: Weiss is right, we can use the extra guns

Ruby: I agree, but what if we run into the Locust?

Yang: Then we use our training.

Back to the Carmines.

Clayton: Doesn't Yang have a commlink with you?

Benjamin: Oh ya I forgot about that

Benjamin attempts to contact Yang

Yang's scroll buzzes.

Blake: Is it Carmine?

Yang: Yup.

Yang answers.

Yang: Benjamin where are you?

Benjamin: Trying to find you, then we can link with the others at the truck, have you found Qrow or Oscar yet?

Yang: No but I imagine they couldn't have gotten far.

Benjamin: Well be careful, The Locust are still around, Jack may have alerted them when he malfunctioned

Yang: We will keep an eye out

A bullet goes over her head.

Yang: CARMINE FIND US NOW, WE ARE BEING ATTACKED.

Benjamin: Fire back and I will find you

Benjamin ends the link.

Benjamin: Clayton we gotta hurry, they are under fire.

Clayton: Let's go then.

As they run along hearing gunfire in the distance.

Clayton: This way!

Over in the distance a chainsaw can be heard with Ruby screaming.

Yang(in the distance just ahead): RUBY

Benjamin: Double time it Clayton

Clayton: Yes sir.

As Ben and Clay get near the girls they see Ruby with her bloody chainsaw and a Drone on the ground with his chest cut open and Rubys face covered in blood.

Benjamin: Good work Ruby..

Ruby: Thanks, it was all to your training.

Benjamin: Come on, lets find your uncle and the others

More gunfire is heard.

Clayton: Is that Marcus?

Benjamin contacts Marcus.

Benjamin: Marcus is that you?

Marcus: Ya, we got the others with us, they found us but Pyrrha is in worse shape now, they were ambushed.

Benjamin: We are on our way

Marcus: Hurry.

The others begin to run to the gunfire and hopefully make it in time.

Blake: Is this what its like in your world with the war?

Benjamin: Yes, no breaks, no time at all, just constantly moving and killing

Yang: And yet you are not tired at all

Clayton: Oh believe us we are tired but we do what we must to survive it all

As the group makes it out of the brush they are met with gunfire and bullets flying over them as they take cover at the truck and see Marcus and the others soon joining them.

Cole: Sup ladies.

Benjamin: Anyone got a frag?

Baird: I got one here -Baird tosses it to Ben-

Benjamin: Thanks Baird

Benjamin primes it and tosses it over the truck into the tree line.

Grenadier: Grenade!!

The Frag goes off killing the rest of the squad of Locust.

Benjamin: I think we are clear, look around for ammo.

Clayton: Hows Pyrrha?

Qrow: Not any better

Marcus: Here I got something that may help.

Marcus grabs his medical supplies from his pouch and begins to apply the hemostat dressings to her wounds.

Marcus: It will hurt for a bit but I promise you it will heal you.

Pyrrha: Thank you Marcus.

Marcus: Anytime..

Baird goes back under the truck and fixes the issue.

Baird: Truck is fixed lets roll!

Ben and Clay help Pyrrha into the truck as the others pile into the back as Baird is driving.

Ozpin: Drive Baird

Baird: Yes sir.

Baird starts the truck and puts it into gear and begins to head down the road.

Over to Salem.

Salem: I hear they killed one of their Huntsman

Watts: Yes that is correct, bullet to the head of that young Arc lad

Salem: Good and they wounded their "Star Pupil" that red headed girl

Emerald: So can we really trust these creatures?

Salem: Emerald? Are you doubting my choice in recruiting these monsters into our cause?

Emerald: No ma'am just curious is all

Salem: These creatures have been a big help since your mistakes at Beacon were made.

Mercury: But one of their leaders were still killed even by that stubborn faunus girl and her monkey friend

Salem: But they gave us results, now that their most elite ranks have joined the fray things should be easy for us.

Over to the others.

Ruby: Poor Jaune...

Clayton: Poor Anthony...he died the same way Jaune did.

Benjamin: Ya..he did and he was just a kid too, this war is gonna be hard on all of us..

Marcus: But we must help them, its what we do

Clayton: I get that but these students are just kids, haven't gotten their lives together or a chance to settle down to make a family, they got thrown into a war that they are recently involved due to their school being attacked, Blakes home being almost destroyed and then Jaune..

Yang: But we will stick by to the end no matter the risk or the cost, the biggest risk is giving up and letting Salem win, if she does we will die.

Benjamin: That's the same with the Locust, if we gave up the whole Human race would be hunted down and put into extinction.

Blake: So almost like how the Faunus were hunted by Humans before the Great War..but then we made peace and now we are doing it again but this time..we are being hunted as Human and Faunus

Ruby: That means we are in this together, we are in it to win it and to save our world from these beasts and to defeat Salem to reclaim our world once more.

Benjamin: For Remnant!

Everyone else: For Remnant!
