Snipperclips only utilizes four buttons to control the characters, making controlling them simple and fun. However, some puzzles may prove too hard for younger players, who may enjoy the simpler battle modes.

Sometimes, when being cut out, the characters will smile, laugh, or seemingly flirt with one another.

Violence

Characters cut each other out into different shapes. They act either surprised or pleased, and there is no blood or cries of pain. However, if a character is completely cut out, they disappear with a slight whimper, and then reappear on-screen. There is a 4-player mini-game where the goal is to cut everyone else completely out.
