ROUGH SUMMARY
ok this story (at least in my head) is extremely blasphemous and is definitely gonna offend someone but i meant it to create discussion of beliefs (simultaneously its importance to some people and its futility to others) through an atheist/agnostic ofc and a catholic mc (i imagined this to be daniel but please feel free to change). of course, feel free to skip the religious themes and just make a story about kids in a boarding school bc that's cool to me too.

SCENES/PLOT IDEAS
- "you know the surest way to raise an atheist child? enroll them in a catholic school"
- daniel meeting the rest of the boys in school (he moved there mid-year bc his mother had to go back to her hometown aka where the school is)
- jack being his first best friend who was already friends with a girl (ofc) who also happens to be their group's drug dealer
- this is probably a story heavily driven by dialogue IF U NEED IDEAS PLS HMU BC I HAVE LOTS OF DEBATE TOPICS ABOUT RELIGION among other things
- there's a bridge somewhere in campus and under it is their friend group's meeting place
- daniel gets hazed into joining (awful but it's a school w a tightly knit community and it's kind of tradition) by making him bring cigarettes to campus and deliberately ratting him out (this was mostly to test if the school would give him any consequences turns out they didn't so now he's daniel "teacher's pet" seavey)
- sneaking out of their building at 2 am to buy cheap alcohol in 7/11 and get trashed in the satellite about a mile away from campus
