Harley Q. and her friend Jarod had a bit of a tradition, on the first day of the month they would get coffee and stay away from home until nightfall. Today was the first of July and they met at exactly six to get coffee and just hang out. "I was afraid I was going to be late I had to ditch my sisters" Harley scowled slightly "they're so annoying sometimes" she added "well, shall we?" she asked "you're here I'm here it's the first of July what else would we do?" Jarod shrugged. "True, come on" Harley agreed walking to the shop with him. After they ordered and sat down there was a very awkward silence while they drank. Harley cleared her throat and stared out the window blankly "guess there isn't anything going on, huh?" she chuckled. "Nope." Jarod said simply clicking his tongue. Nodding Harley got on her phone just aimlessly browsing through the internet. "Want to get ice cream later?" Jarod asked raising an eyebrow "Vegan." Harley said not looking up. "Well then look up a vegan ice cream place I don't know." Jarod shrugged. "Oh right sure hang on." Harley said looking on her phone. Jarod waited tapping his fingers bored "Oh I think I found one that ser-" Harley started getting interrupted by one of Jarod's friends. "Hey Jarod... oh remember that friend I was talking about? This is her" Jeffery said gesturing to a girl behind him. The girl has wavy red hair and black cat ears on the top of her head Harley looked up a bit annoyed to be interrupted and raised an eyebrow. "Oh... you." She scowled "You" the girl scowled back "oh you know Benny?" Jeff asked "not personally" Harley grumbled not breaking eye contact. "We met once before but as strangers." Benny said glaring back at Harley "it's like snakes" Jeff chuckled "maybe we should leave before they slap each other." Jarod whispered back "no it's fine let's just head to that ice cream place." Harley said breaking eye contact to put her phone away "yeah ok let's go" Jarod said "see ya later Jeff, nice to meet ya benny." He said getting up. Harley muttered something under her breath leaving Jarod walked a bit fast to keep up. "So uh what exactly happened?" Jarod asked. "So do you remember why I hate cats and can't handle being around them?" Harley asked "yeah... is that why? Because she's part cat?" he asked "that and she turned all my clothes pink on purpose!" Harley groaned "that's why I don't have any light clothes left and why I'm wearing all black in summer!" she scowled. Jarod held back a snicker and tried to look sympathetic "that's- pff... horrib- hahahaha" he started unable to finish his sentence thanks to a fit of laughter. "Hey! Cut it out!" Harley growled "I can't I'm sorry" he laughed holding his stomach. "It's not even that funny" Harley glared "you hate her for that? It's just clothes!" he laughed almost falling over "yeah whatever bye." Harley grumbled a bit pink in the face and stomped off "ah come on I'm just joking" he sighed calming down. "Ice cream come on" he said still looking amused "you're lucky it's the first" Harley growled "ok let's go." She said pulling out her phone and looking up the address.
