The first on this list would be the covers. When I first started writing, I have no idea how to make a good cover so along with this part is also a brief overview of how my graphic design skills would go. Haha. You'd be surprised at how noob I am. lol.

So, let's get started!

This is like the very first cover of The Fairy Legacy and...it doesn't look bad but it doesn't look nice either. I spent a great deal of time with this cover and well, I am not proud of this one because first and foremost, I just ripped the picture off google and text-slapped. xD Zero originality. Still, massive THANK YOU to whoever drew this picture because this one inspired a specific scene in the book (which is now razed after the second drafts) and how Xanthy looked like in general (Still remained the same after the second drafts). So yeah. Ogle at that ugly text-slapped cover but great picture. *finger guns*

This one has a funny story. I found this picture on google and I tried it with the layout of the cover above for the second book called The Soul Spells. I was like, nah. It didn't match the line-up of graphics I have for that last series so I scrapped the idea. Then, after a while, I found it again, this time on Pinterest, and I thought huh, this is actually a good picture. Then, I found other pictures that fit the current theme I have and yeah, this became the picture on the cover that I used for a LONG time. Still not proud of this one since it's still basically a steal-picture-slapp-text thing. xD

And now we get to the real deal. I was like, hey, I should be making covers for COF that don't look like a text slap, and now you have it. That's not a text slap. Not anymore. A great deal of photo manipulation and spatial skills went on with this cover for the series and now...it's here. Ta-da. The funny thing about this cover is that before I showed it to my friends, I was like, those thorns thingy is sooooo ew. And they're like, no, no, we like it. So me being the external validation hoe, I was like, hey, it's actually good. hmmm. And yeah, I stuck with it because I'm too lazy to edit again (doing that thorns thingy took me a long time. lol) and that's it. End of Cae's storytime.

Yeah. This story and this book in general have been through a lot. xD I hope you are entertained by this mindless rambling that I did and I hope you move to the other books to follow Xanthy's journey.
