Third Person POV:
Istanbul, Turkey
Two years after the events of season one
The scene opens in a dimly lit corridor in Istanbul, Turkey. A man emerges from the shadows, gradually walking towards the light. As he steps into the illumination, it becomes evident that the man is none other than Y/N L/N
He hears a noise coming from inside a room. But when he goes in, he sees a man sitting on an armchair and bleeding, looking like he just got shot
Y/N: Bronson's down. He needs medical evac.
M: Where is it? Is it there?
Y/N searches the room for something and finds a computer with it's hard drive missing
Y/N: It's not here.
Adler: Are you sure?
Y/N: It's gone. Gimme a minute.
M: They must have it, get after them.
Y/N rushes to aid the wounded agent sitting on the armchair, grabbing a towel and placing it on the bullet wound
Y/N: I'm stabilizing Bronson.
M: We don't have time for this.
Y/N: I have to stop the bleeding.
Adler: Leave him, agent! This is an order!
Natasha, who was also at HQ listening to the progress of the mission, decides to intervene
Natasha: Y/N...This is the job. Leave Brunson...the medical team will take care of him.
Y/N sighs and quotes Caesar to his own mother
Y/N: Et tu, mom?
Y/N eventually puts Bronson's hand on the wound and leaves the scene, going to the streets of Istanbul
There, a gray pickup truck honks at him and he gets in
In the truck was Kate, who smiled at Y/N
Y/N: Fancy seeing you here, agent Bishop. Summer vacation?
Kate snickers
Kate: You know better than anyone we don't have vacations in this line of work. What happened to Brunson?
Y/N: He's been hit.
M: We're sending a medical team to him.
Y/N: They'll be too damn late!
Kate: He's in the black Audi. The guy who's got the list...
The Audi in front of them starts speeding up
Y/N: I think he sees us.
Kate speeds up and while doing so, she ends up breaking one of the rearview mirrors cornering
Y/N: It's alright...you weren't using it.
Kate breaks the other rearview mirror while overtaking a car
Kate: I wasn't using that one either.
Y/N chuckles despite the tense situation, appreciating Kate's unconventional driving style
The truck eventually catches up to the black Audi, now side to side while cruising the streets of Istanbul
Kate then rams the car, making it roll over
The driver eventually gets out of the car with a fully automatic pistol with a drum magazine, shooting towards Y/N and Kate
Y/N: Keep your head down!
Y/N gets out of the pickup truck and opens fire against the shooter
Y/N ducks down and takes cover
Y/N: Just get a machine gun at this point...
The cops start arriving on the scene riding motorbikes, but the unknown shooter just shoots them and knocks them off their bikes
The shooter then proceeds to get up on one of the bikes and rides away
Kate: Go! I'll catch up.
Y/N gets up on one of the bikes and starts chasing the man through the streets of Istanbul
Kate breaks her damaged windshield to get a better view of the road
Kate: Move! Get out of the way! Base...which way do I go?
Q: Agent Bishop, this is Q, keep going and I'll direct you from here.
Adler: You both know what's at stake here, we cannot afford to lose that list!
As Y/N enters the historic Grand Bazaar, the atmosphere becomes even more intense. Y/N navigates the labyrinthine paths, riding through narrow corridors, and evading pedestrians with breathtaking speed
Kate, who was still chasing both in her pickup truck, receives directions from Q
Q: Take a left. There's a bridge. You can cut him off.
Kate doesn't care. She hits every car on sight in order to get closer to Y/N and the shooter
Eventually, both agents corner the unknown shooter on a bridge
The man then jumps off the ledge and lands on top of a train
Kate: Shit! Come on, we need to-
Y/N doesn't let her speak and jumps off the bridge using his bike
M, concerned, asks about the situation
M: What happened?
Kate: They're on the train, sir.
M: What do you mean they're on the train?
Kate: I mean they're on top of a train.
M: Well, get after them for fuck's sake.
The pursuit continues, escalating to new heights as Y/N chases the man while on top of a train and Kate drives off to chase them
On the train, Y/N shoots at the man, but can't hit him. And just as he as going to open fire again, his ammo was gone
The lack of bullets forces Y/N to improvise, his mind quickly thinking of a plan to confront the threat in close quarters
This is when he sees a digger being carried on top of the train
He gets in and starts operating it
As he turns the digger around, the unknown shooter starts firing his automatic pistol at him, piercing the glass and hitting Y/N's right shoulder
Y/N regains his composure and raises the digger's arm in order to shield himself from the bullets
Watching the arm go straight at him, the shooter then uses his gun to shoot at pneumatic release and uncouple the train cars
Noticing his bullets were also out, the shooter then runs away, making Y/N use the digger's arm to claw on top of the train's car
He then gets out of the digger and uses its arm as a bridge to get across
After that, Y/N lands in the carriage with the passengers, taking some time to adjust his cuffs
Natasha: Y/N? What's going on?
Y/N: Just changing carriages.
On top of the train, the shooter thinks Y/N had fallen off and is satisfied he is dead
But, after the train gets out of the tunnel, the man sees Y/N right in front of him
Y/N: Hello there.
He slams the shooter in the face and tussles with him on top of the train
Meanwhile, Kate was driving up into the mountains now. The treacherous and twisty road wasn't a challenge for the raven haired archer
She pulls up next to a cliff and sees there isn't any road left for her to continue
Kate: I don't think I can go any further.
She gets out of the car with her bow and quiver and sees Y/N fighting with the man on top of the train
Kate: I may have a shot...it's not clean.
At M's office in MI6, Adler, M, Natasha, and Bucky were glued to the screens, their eyes following every twist and turn of the intense mission. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation as they awaited updates on Y/N's daring pursuit. The tension in the room mirrored the urgency of the situation playing out in Istanbul
Kate then repeats herself
Kate: Repeat, I do not have a clean shot.
Adler: Can you get into a better position?
Kate: Negative. There's no time. There is another tunnel...I'm gonna lose them.
Adler: Your call, M.
M sighs deeply, having to decide between his agent or the mission
M: Take the shot.
Kate hesitates for a moment
Kate: I can't, I may hit Y/N.
M: Take the bloody shot!
Kate: (whispering to herself) I'm sorry, Y/N.
She releases the arrow, aiming for the unknown shooter on top of the train
The world seemed to slow down for a moment as Kate's arrow found its target
Y/N, caught off guard, took the arrow meant for the unknown shooter. His body recoiled with the impact, and in the blink of an eye, he tumbled off the speeding train, disappearing into the dark waters below
Kate: Agent down.
The room at MI6 fell into a stunned silence. M, Adler, Natasha, and Bucky stared at the screens, a mix of shock and concern etched on their faces. Kate's hesitation had resulted in a tragedy, and the consequences were now sinking in
Kate's voice was breaking, the realization was kicking in
Kate: I...I didn't mean to...
MI6 Headquarters, London
As the tears rolled down her cheeks, Natasha's expression shifted from shock to a mix of sadness and regret
