I didn't mind it much.. cause my main goal was to retrieve back the orphic, no matter what.

I started to make my way to the park.

I stopped, something happened.

It was a gut feeling but every time I tried to ignore it, it got worse..

I hastily went back to the shop, because I knew it had something to do with the hooded guy.

This could be all wrong, maybe nothing even happened and I was just being all paranoid.

The lady there was dead.

I ran down to the hideout, hoping that Zale and Cyra are still there, maybe fighting for their lives but still down there.

No. They were gone, luckily no blood splatters.

So, they were alive at that moment... kidnaping. This was a kidnaping.

Why did I not knock out that dude when I first saw him??

"NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR STUPID QUESTIONSS AND OVERTHINKING!!!" Erven's voice echoed through my ears.

He's right.. I need a plan.

Damn it! no time for plans too!

He must have gotten Cyra and Zale.

I need to call Caelestis, he must have kept an eye on his only sister. Knowing him, he would.
"(Knowing him huh?) My inner voice called out teasingly.."
"(Not the time buddy,i thought)"

I ran until I was out of breath into a place where no one was present or seen.

I frantically called Caelestis hoping he would pick it up.

"Hey.. didn't expect you to call-" He said in a sleepy voice.

"Caelestis! I need help asap!"

"Wha-"

"Zale and Cyra is caught and I need to get them out of there, so I need the blueprint of the palace or whatever that building is and-"

He cut me off, "Hey, Hey! Lumi chill! Get a hold of yourself."

"I'm fine! but I need Cyra and Zale out of there or else everything you did will go to waste!"

"She told you everything??.."

"Yes she did, I just did not tell what I do for a living-"

"Are you seriously planning to get them out of there?"

"Okay, now that you put it like that... you make me think I have better options here."

"Well, you can think! put that brain of yours into use for once!"

"See, I know that Kaito stole the orphic and if I get back the orphic and back to those other three very important dudes, I have no chance of them believing me cause I'm just someone who came from a different planet. With Cyra, I have a better chance of proving Kaito guilty!"

"Never mind, you used it well already-, I'll send you whatever I can find k?

"Thanks."

"No, Thank you."

He ended the call right way and probably, went to find whatever he was going to send.

I made my way into the park, and waited cause I could do noting right now.

30 minutes passed..

And still no luck for him I guess in finding the orphic..

I know that this planet deserves it's freedom and I still have the choice to just take the orphic and put it back in it's place.. but if I do that, Kaito will just take it back again.

Its Midnight now,

All the cameras are down, and thats all thanks to Miro. Lucky that he's a hacker.

Everything was covered in complete darkness and the air was thick with mist and fog, with every second, panic raised within me and I felt I'm on pins and needles but I still kept my composure as I knew what was on stake.

Guards were found in every crook and cranny of the palace and each time as I took a step forward my heart would hammer against my ribs.

Swiftly and stealthily I made my way around the gate. There I stood against the wall and footsteps could be heard louder and louder and much more closer, without another thought I picked up the nearest thing to me and threw it in the opposite direction, hoping that the guard wound notice it. "What was that?.. " I heard him murmur and walk away. As soon as he did I darted towards the throne room.

According to Arwan, there is not much security here other than the cameras. I made my way to Cyra's room, everything was going fine.. for now! Because one wrong step and this will all go down.

I could hear her sobbing. She must had a hard time with her father.

I slowly tried to open the door but to no surprise, it's locked.

The clock's ticking, time's running.

I quickly unlocked it with a lockpick.

"I'm not sorry! I'm-"

Before she could utter another word I closed her mouth with my palm.

"Hey Cyra shhh its me!" I whispered in her ears.

"Lu-Lumi?.. I didn't expect you to c-come.."

"Well, I came anyways.. are u okay?" I asked as I looked at her in shock.

She was beaten to black and blue and her right leg was covered in blood.

"I-I can't walk.. it hurts.." She said.

I didn't know what do to but I need to do something and asap.

"red dewdrop flowers.." Erven's voice once again echoed through my ears.

I immediately started searching to see if I had any on me.. but I didn't.

"Cyra, do you have any red dewdrop flowers?" I asked her silently.

"Yeah.. back there, in a pot.."

I rushed over and took some petals and crushed it, quickly applied it on her leg and wrapped it around with a torn piece of cloth.

"Look Cyra, you will heal soon but if can try to make a rope with all the clothes that you have, I'll get Zale in the meanwhile k?"

"O-Okay, roger that!" She whispered back.

I slowly closed the door and slid into banquet hall and made my way into the weaponry.

A guard, sleeping soundly, sat in front of the prison cells. Apparently, they first locked them up here and then send them underwater.

I wasn't hard to take the keys from the guard. After looking around for a little while, I found Zale.

He wasn't in the best of condition either but at least he could walk.

"Zale, its Lumi.. don't panic or else you'll wake up the others." I calmly said.

He didn't utter a word but just looked at me in disbelief.

I unlocked the prison cell and opened it without making as much noise as possible.

We finally arrived at Cyra's room and as soon as we did, I locked the door behind me.

1:58 am.

The cameras and alarms are not going to be disabled for any longer.

"Lumi here, the rope.." Cyra said.

"We are going to climb out the window??.. This is going to a disaster." Zale remarked.

"That's very optimistic of you!" I replied back.

1:59 am.

If I'm not wrong, not a lot of guards are stationed outside this part of the palace, from there we could easily blend in with the people around here cause it's already daytime.

Zale broke open the window and threw the rope down, Cyra climbed down the rope first and Zale was making his way down too.

2:00 am.

Alarms got active and were ringing out loud.

Guards were banging at the door and soon the door broke.

I jumped out and caught on the rope, my gloves tore and my hands started to burn due to the friction but I didn't stop. We need to run now.

"ZALE! RUN INTO THE CITY! HERE TAKE THIS AND CLEAN UP YOURSELF! CYRA AND I WILL BE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" I screamed as I threw him a bag with clothes and a tacker.

Zale started to run, no sign of guards down yet..

I made down safely but as soon as I touched the ground four guards cornered us.

"Lumi.. we are in trouble aren't we?"

"You need not worry yourself, these idiots won't make it out alive." I reassuringly said to her.

"IS THAT A THREAT??" One of them yelled at us.

"Did it sound like a compliment to you?" I said as I hit him on his neck.

the other three was taken aback but it didn't stop them.

One of them lunged at me, his movements clumsy but desperate. I caught him mid-charge, gripping his arm tightly, and with a surge of adrenaline, I swung him around, slamming him against the wall. The impact could be seen on the wall but there was no time to celebrate about it.

As I turned to finish off the other two, a sharp pain erupted across my back, without another thought I swiftly kicked him, right at his face. But before I could finish him off, the other two moved swiftly, grabbing Cyra.

"Take one more step, and she's dead," one of them sneered.

I knew they wouldn't, I slowly stepped towards them.

The fear they had was clearly shown in their eyes, everything they were doing was only an act.

"Do you really want to try mess with me?" I ask, my voice as hard as steel.

Without another thought, they both ran away in different directions.

"You knew they'd run" she whispered.

"Well, cowards always do." she giggled at my response.

"Hop on my back, we'll get there faster." I said.

Without hesitation, she got on my back. I ran towards the direction of Zale...
