You rush up to Deerly and throw yourself against his side, practically headbutting his ribcage.

Letting your vision trail along the streaks, you find the knife lodged in your shoulder, the blade only having a few inches left poking out of you. 

Finally, after too long of what you assumed was a numbness from the shock, you felt an immense pain and screamed out in agony.
