Remember: You are the Unmasker.  Interact with as many people as you can to unlock their memories for them.  You can also learn more about the others depending on your relationship with them and at what points you interact with them.

Making friends and enemies is based on a point system.  Positive Interactions (PIs) help you gain points, and Negative Interactions (NIs) will make you lose points.  You will be let known after a segment if your interaction was Positive or Negative, and depending on the scale of your interaction, you can gain or lose a few points. 

The scale of character relationships is as follows:

6+ Points - Best Friends
3 to 5 Points - Friends
1 to 2 Points - Mutuals
0 Points - Neutral
-1 to -2 Points - Bad Terms
-3 to -5 Points - Enemies
-6 and below Points - Rivals

Losing points isn't necessarily a bad thing, the story works off of your decisions after all.  If you want to be enemies or friends with someone, it is up to you to make the right choices. 

Choices that are important will be marked with an "!". These choices will not affect your relationships directly, but will either alter the story a slight bit, or alter it significantly. In some of these choices, you will decide who lives and dies, but not all of them.
