Chapter Nineteen; Not Edited

I was having a good time with Michael so far. We were both currently by the tables drinking some fruit punch as we took in the scenes in front of us. The movement of people moving together as the beat of the music filled our ears and a smile appeared on my face when I saw Harry and Ivy swinging back and forth to the music. I cooed at the sight when Harry whispered something in Ivy's ear making a blush appear on her face and I bit back a laugh when I saw the blue haired girl start to smack the curly haired boy on the shoulder.

"Are you having fun?" I felt someone wrap their arms around my shoulder and I looked up to see Michael smiling down at me. I was so glad Michael asked me to go to the dance with him. I've never been to prom before and it was nice to finally go to one in my final year of school.

"I'm having a blast." I stood on my tip toes and gave the redhead's cheek a peck and I cooed when a blush appeared on his face. "Thank you Michael." I saw him look down at me with furrow eyebrows and a questionable look appeared on his face.

"For what?" He asked and just hearing his voice made butterflies flutter in my stomach as I realized he was my everything. "Everything basically." I smiled when I looked up at him and I saw something I haven't seen before. Love. Call us crazy for falling in love so early but their was something about Michael that drew me in like a moth to a flame.

"You don't need to thank me. I told you that I will always be here for you." Michael pointed out which brought a smile to my face on how true his statement is. "I know but I want to thank you anyway." I stuck out my tongue when he rolled his eyes at me.

"Michael." The both of us turned to see Ryder standing there, panting as he tried to calm his breath down. "Have you seen Ashton?" He asked with pure worry lacing his gentle, yet warm voice. "Please tell me you seen him."

"Ryder, what's going on?" I heard Michael ask sternly. I noticed that the tan boy has calmed down and a look of pure horror replaced his worry. "He's gone." Ryder said, making my stomach drop and Michael's hands balled into a fist as I noticed he started to get angry at whatever happened to his stepbrother.

"What the hell do you mean he is gone?" I watched Michael start to lose his temper so I knew it was my time to calm him down. "Answer me!" He roared at the tan boy and some of the people around them turned to look at them curiously.

"Louis." Ryder stepped backward in attempt to stay out of Michael's way at the moment. "I think Louis has something to do with it." That was the only thing the redhead needed to hear because Michael was out of sight as soon as those words left his friend's mouth.

"Listen Calum. You need to find Ashton before anything happens to him." I watched Michael throw Louis against the wall and when I heard those words leave the tan boy's mouth I turned to him. "What do you mean if something happens to him?"

"I don't know how to explain this but 'Red' has him and he is going to use him as bait to get to you." Ryder explained. "No, I don't know who Red is but you need to hurry. He is in the main school building."

"I don't know if I can do this." I shivered at the thought of finally coming face to face with my stalker. "I really don't want to know who has been causing me hell for the last months of my Senior Year." I said honestly and I saw the tan boy nod.

"I understand Calum but Ashton's life is on the hand." My stomach dropped at hearing those words. Will Code Red really take someone's life just to have me? I didn't want to find out that answer, so all I could do was nod and backed away slowly but before I could walk away completely I heard Ryder speak. "Be safe Calum. I don't want to lose you as a friend and I know Michael would break if something happened to his boyfriend."

"I will be fine Ryder" I reassured him but deep down I was terrified. I was terrified for my friend's life and for what is about to happen if I don't hurry up and find him. "I want to put the end to this terror once and for all. Please do not tell Michael where I gone."
