After the Black Knights make an appearance to the entire world, the world has changed in recent days. The Britannia now face two threats to their empire: The Black Knights and United Liberation Alliance. They want them to be dealt with, however, they have hands full to face against their own kind from the homeland or colonial Areas. The people of Quebec which is part of Britannia dominion have risen up against the government and they have larger support of the independent movement. Emperor Charles sent troops to put down the rebellion, but that made it worse to Britannia. Part of the rebellion rose up such as New York, Pittsburgh, Boston, Jacksonville, and Fishtown attacking on the streets. They are the supporters of ULA and they will destroy anything related to the military and government. The nobles terrified of uprising were forced to flee to other regions to safety. The Britannian send anti-terrorism search-and-destroy armor unit called Glinda Knight lead by Princess Marrybell mel Britannia to bring down the rebellion within her homeland. This was troublesome for the Holy Britannian Empire as Europia United with high morals managed to push back the forces in Africa and it also saw the rebellion uprising in the mainland as an advantage to disarray the forces with things going on there.

Meanwhile, more UNSA arrived from orbit and entered into the planet hidden from other countries. The independent nations have fixed their economic and finances, and they increase military personnel thanks to UNSA. The United Democratic State of Australia cooperated with the UNSA to terraform their nation to transform a deserted land into a green, clean land. They also have trade deals from Parallelos universe to Allos Universe for Allos-Australia to have a lot of resources and materials to support themselves. President Charlotte Whitehill went to Parallelos universe and meet the general assembly in UNSA headquarter. She has a lot of support from the general assembly which is happy for her and their relationship becomes more impressive and they cooperate with each other to build a better future for Allos-Humanity. She'll remain secret from independent nations until the UNSA president will call them for a meeting soon.

The ULA have a different story from the Black Knights. The recruits of both Britannians and Japanese joined their cause and became popular among the people in Area 11. They went to the campaign to remove all illegal drug deals, destroy important structures to keep the fighting for the military, and expose terrible truths to the public to make people rise up against colonial rule. As for Ruben Ashford joining the ULA side, he distributed the resources to the ULA, and this is to thank Daniel for saving his granddaughter from the JLF in Lake Kawaguchi.

Daniel Thompson aka Patriot Knight however, finds the answers of what he had seen last night. He went to investigate to find how Kusakabe possesses a serum that transforms into a monster. He still has no evidence to find it, but he decides to call the president and his father to find out what report he had been encountering from last night in Lake Kawaguchi.

Daniel's Dorm, Ashley Academy

Pres. Richard Samwell and Secretary Defense Jorge Thompson are on the video call screen on his laptop as Daniel explains to them what he and his team encountered last night.

Samwell (screen): So let me get this straight, are you telling me that a leader of a rogue faction of the JLF named Lt. Col. Kusakabe has a syringe containing a serum that transforms into a horrifying beast, killing his own officers, and attempting to take the life of one of Black Knights members before you slice it in half like you slice in half of the butter. Is that right?

Daniel: That's correct, Mr. President. It is unknown who gave him that small box. For what I know we might have a fourth party and it is not a friend to everybody.

Jorge (screen): This seems worried. If what you said is true then we don't know when they strike next. I'll have to note Grand Admiral Brodeur knows about your statement.

Samwell (screen): Right. I'll send the CIA agents to help you find whoever is giving that box to Kusakabe. Someone behind the shadow might jeopardize our campaign to free Allos-World from the Holy Britannian Empire. IN the meantime, I'll be headed to the Pentagon to discuss the situation in our world.

Daniel: Like financial crisis, terrorist attack, or colonized world problem?

Samwell (screen): Something like that. I'll be going now. Keep on fighting, son.

He said as he ended the video call. His father asked him.

Jorge (screen): So Daniel, how's in Ashford Academy?

Daniel: Fine. There are a lot of activities around here. Study about all subjects and stuff, except the one who I don't like to hear from history lesson.

Jorge (screen): Anyway, your mother wants to say to you that she misses you so much.

Daniel: I know, Dad. But you know, I'm grown up, I have experienced everything in my life and I can take care of myself.

Jorge (screen): I'm sure it is, my son. So, any girls you want to hang out with, eh?

Daniel: Wh-What? Dad!

Jorge (screen): Oh come on, we both know that you needed a woman to stay by your side, especially you ended up in the alternate universe. Well, when I was your age, I met your mother at the high school and we...

Daniel: Please, please, stop it. I don't want to hear that story.

He groaned, feeling annoyed by his father who was laughing on the screen.

Jorge (screen): Oh come on, light it up. There's gonna be girls somewhere you like the most.

Daniel: Uh... It happened that night when Milly came to me and kissed me on the cheek.

Jorge (screen): Hahaha! So it's Milly Ashford. I think she likes you.

Daniel: What the- Dad! I really don't know how to explain it. Me, an American fall in love with a Britannian girl from an alternate universe. Is it weird to marry someone who is living on Earth in a different universe?

Jorge (screen): Different universe or not, you do need a girl to always stay by your side, besides your mother keeps wishing to be a grandma when you have kids.

He said, putting his hands on his face to avoid being embarrassed in front of his father. His father just laughed.

Jorge (screen): Son, come on. When a girl has strong feelings for a boy such as yourself will affect the romantic emotions and they will do anything to protect the one they care the most. What you are describing is that Milly has feelings with you.

His son sighed.

Daniel: If it's true, do you think she will return her feelings to me when that time has come?

Jorge (screen): Not sure yet, son. But I do know that she will show her feelings to you sooner or later, so I'm gonna give you some advice.

Daniel: And what's that?

Jorge (screen): Always keep her heart pure as beauty she is. Also, don't break her heart. If you do, your mother and I will come to Allos-universe and spank you just like that time when you tried to hit her favorite vase when you were a kid playing baseball?

Daniel: That was an accident, and it's been a long time, you know?

He said with a smile as he ended the video call. Daniel closes his laptop and leans back on the chair feeling the atmosphere surrounding him. He sighed a bit.

Aiwi, wearing a pink plain t-shirt and a white panty without pants , just grabbed a soda can and a bag of chips from the refrigerator and went to sit on the couch.

Aiwi: Alright, time to see what's new today from Parallelos universe.

She grabbed a remote control and pressed to turn on a flat screen tv to see the news from Parallelos universe.

News reporter (screen): Today, the diplomatic meeting between UNSA and an alien civilization called Zakterian made a very good relationship between two global nations. They continue making trade deals across the galaxy after they work together to defeat the Harvest Empire...

Aiwi: Huh, it seems like there's aliens out there. I wonder if my world will meet them if they are friendly or not.

She switched to another channel and watched the anime show that is so old, yet more popular from the old days. She watched the Attack on Titan.

Aiwi: Oh heck yeah! I love this anime!

She drank a soda and then ate the chips.

Aiwi: Man, I could believe Japanese from Parallelos universe have make most famous anime shows in those years. I wish we had that one in my world if we had invented it yet... I wonder what Milly is... Oh, I remember...

She said with a smirk thinking about Milly having a crush on him.

Aiwi: I have a feeling that a Britannian girl will end up falling in love with him. It's no weird since they're both humans despite those two coming from different universes. Man, this is so weird for me to accept what I've been through. I wonder if American and Britannian can be together as couples. But nah! I won't bother it anyway.

She continues watching the show eating a bag of chips and drinking a soda can.

Cornelia: The EU is starting an offensive along the El Alamein front. We can't go on dragging our feet around here. I want to solidify domestic affairs. At its height, Area 11 was made a satellite nation. For that to happen we need to stamp out terrorism, of course. But another major problem is the rampant abuse of Refrain amongst the Eleven.

Productivity is plummeting. It's coming in on the Chinese Federation's Kyushu route. We have to put an end to it.

Euphemia: Yeah. Good luck fighting there.

She said, turning her face away as she was still mad at her. Cornelia felt sad to see her that way.

Cornelia: Just... I don't want you leaving the settlement.

Euphemia: Maybe you shouldn't worry about me. After what you did, I'm starting to take my job so seriously I don't have time to chit-chat with you, Viceroy.

Cornelia: Euphie, please...

She said trying to reach her hand to her only to be slapped away by her sister.

Euphemia: Do not call me that! You have no right to say it!

She said Cornelia wanted to cry, but she didn't want it in front of her so she replied.

Cornelia: I... I understand. I'm entrusting it to you to handle Area 11 until my return so just please try to stay out of harm's way from now on. Be safe, sub-viceroy.

She said as she walked away feeling sad her sister still would not forgive her. She hopes that she makes her amends and Euphemia will forgive her and call her sister again.

Daniel was walking in the hallway when he saw Kallen there so he went to her.

Kallen: Man, this double life sure is a killer.

Daniel: Hey Kallen.

She turns around, surprised to see him out of nowhere.

Kallen: O-Oh! Daniel! I didn't see you there.

Daniel: Hehehe... What are you doing here?

Kallen: Oh, uh...

Milly (other room): Come on, Suzaku, hold him down!

Lelouch (other room): Damn it, Suzaku, cut it out! Stop it! I'm not kidding! Stop it! I'm not kidding!

Daniel: What the hell sound is that?

Kallen: It's coming from there.

She opens the door as they walk in, they see Milly, Rivalz, Shirley, and Suzaku are wearing cat outfits. Nina was wearing one too, but she always used her laptop. Lelouch was here except he was being tied up on the chair and his friends were forcing to put makeup on him.

Suzaku: Sorry, Lelouch. But it's the president's orders.

Lelouch: Yeah, like you're not enjoying this at all!

Shirley: Will you hold still!

Milly in a cat outfit saw them here and she greeted them.

Milly: Good meowning.

Kallen: Uh, good morning I guess?

She said. Daniel, on other hand, was pretty surprised to see her wearing a cat outfit and tried not to get blushing.

Kallen: What is all this?

Rivalz: What do you mean? Didn't we tell you? It's our welcome party for Arthur.

Daniel: Huh? I never knew that.

Shirley: That's because you always skipped out just like Lelouch did.

Lelouch: Shirley, you know I sometimes do that. But today, I stopped, okay.

Kallen: Sounds like fun...?

Daniel: I could agree more.

Milly: Well, classes are postponed, we might as well have some fun, right?

Shirley: I set some stuff aside for you, over here. To make up for all my getting so upset before. Take your pick.

He said.

Milly: Yep!

Rivalz: Not that I don't feel for you, but I don't see why we can't leave either.

He said. But then, Suzaku started to feel emotional as he started to let the tears out from his eyes.

Suzaku: I'm glad... that we could all be together again. You know, like this.

Rivalz: Come on! Hey, we're supposed to be unwinding here!

He said as he jumped over Lelouch and tackled Suzaku on the ground.

Shirley: That's what's so refreshing about Suzaku, though.

Milly: Yeah, but once in a while you just want him to get a clue, you know?

Suzaku: Oh, sorry about that.

Rivalz: Oh, you puddy cat.

Everyone laughs by calling Suzaku a puddy cat. Daniel was laughing and then went to Milly.

Danie: Hey Milly, can we have a word?

Milly: Oh, right. Hey Shirley, can you take over here for a minute.

Shirley: Oh, sure thing, President.

Hallway

Daniel and Milly, still wearing cat outfits, are having a conversation.

Milly: So what is it? Another mission?

Daniel: Nah, it's not about that. Also, I kinda like your cat outfit.

Milly: Y-You think so?

She said, trying to block her blushing from him.

Daniel: Yeah. I do. Today, it's time for us to rest for a long while. Fighting against the Britannia empire is great, but we do need some fun time.

Milly chuckled.

Milly: So what do we do today? We have a lot of activities that should be fun.

Daniel: Actually, I was wondering if we could hang out today.

This make so surprised for Milly to hear that from him. She is feeling that hanging out would mean going out on a date. She tried not to get into her head to think about that.

Milly: Hang out? Like a date?

Daniel: Yeah. Um, something like that. Besides, I did save you back at Lake Kawaguchi.

She started to blush and turn her head away.

Milly: Oh yeah, I owe you that one. Hmm.. Oh! How about going to the park? There's so much to explore for both of us. But, uh, maybe we will go there in the afternoon. I have finished my makeup on Lelouch.

He chuckled.

Daniel: You really sure like doing on Lelouch, haven't you?

Milly: Oh please, I always like that to him. He's always trying to get away all the time, but I always have a plan.

Daniel: Okay then. Well, I'm gonna go. See you there.

Milly: Sure thing.

He turns around and heads back to his dorm room. Milly places his hand on the chest as she hears a heartbeat beating so hard when looking at him.

Milly: Oh Daniel...

After the Black Knights are introduced to the world, there are strange things going on in the Ashford academy. There are rumors from among the students that they saw Daniel and Milly hanging out for quite some time thinking they are on a date. Rivalz, hearing the rumor, is so shocked that their president is dating him which makes Rivalz so jealous.

Outside of Milly's room

Daniel was casually waiting outside for Milly. Then, he saw her go out of the academy wearing an upper blue t-shirt and white skirt. She wears blue flat shoes. She is also wearing a white hat on her head.

Milly: So... ready to go?

Daniel was blinked to see her so beautiful she shook it off and he replied.

Daniel: Yeah. Let's go.

Timeskip

They are walking in the park as it is a beautiful place to visit. Walking on the path wandering in the park seeing trees, grass, and everyone else visit here. There's a pond with ducks in it as they feed it to them. They went sitting on the bench looking at the view of the pond . They close together to watch the ducks swimming in the pond and the sun slowly down. Milly is happy to be with him so much. It's good that he came here two years ago to change the world for a better future, especially for her. She asked.

Milly: It's wonderful to come here. To be honest, I haven't come out here ever since my family went into exile. It's so beautiful.

Daniel: Indeed. Despite turning Japan into a colonial Area, this place seems beautiful.

Milly reached her hand to his side and leaned her head on his shoulder.

Milly: You know, I was wondering...

Daniel: Wondering what?

Milly: Maybe we could go to your universe? I would really like to explore your country. I like to wish what it looks like to the outside world.

She said Daniel pulled her closer.

Milly: Yeah. I hope we can change for the better.

They continue looking at the view until they decide to go back to the academy. Milly tells him to hang out more when they have free time, and she tells him she's going to visit Kallen at her mansion. He nodded and went separate ways. Daniel decides to visit a princess tonight as he dressed up his armor suit and teleported to the top of Viceroy palace.

Garden rooftop, Viceroy Palace

Euphemia, wearing a sleeping gown, is in the garden looking around to find Patriot Knight. The people in the government bureau don't notice her coming here alone so she is fine. She is still mad at her for her actions in Saitama ghetto and she wishes not to face her, but she must cooperate to control Area 11 or better name, Japan. She keeps waiting when a voice spokes to her.

Patriot Knight: Lovely place, huh?

She turned around to see him standing there out of nowhere. It gives her a spook of his sudden appearance. She sighs to calm down and she said.

Euphemia: Yeah... This place was built by Clovis before he... turned into someone I can't recognize anymore.

Patriot Knight: Hmm... Like I said, we came here for a meeting. And I mean, a secret meeting between you and I.

Euphemia: I do. Though it was a surprise to come to meet someone who just went to save those people in the ghettos and defeated my sis- Cornelia.

Patriot Knight: She had it coming. Her crimes will surely lead her to defeat. For what I know, she is strongly discriminated against by either Britannian or Eleven, to them of course.

Euphemia: You really hate us imperial family, don't you?

Patriot Knight: To them, yes. To you, no. I have something for you that might bring the end of this war.

Euphemia: Huh? What makes me so useful for you to accomplish it?

Patriot Knight: Simple, the ULA stands for protecting the weak and innocent from the conflict and liberating all countries that have been oppressed from three superpower nations for so long. The reason Japan surrendered and turned into Area 11 is because they thought two royal family members had been killed by the hands of Japanese.

Euphemia: That's what I've heard after the emperor and the imperial court announce their death-

She paused to have a realization.

Euphemia: Wait, you know where they are? Are they alive?

Patriot Knight: For complete honesty, yes, they are alive.

His words make her feel like crying in tears as they are alive and she is so happy to hear it.

Euphemia: Oh Lelouch and Nunnally, they are really alive. Tell me where they are.

Patriot Knight: First, wipe your tears. I really don't like seeing you crying like that.

Euphemia: Oh. Sorry.

She wiped her tears on her eyes.

Patriot Knight: They are alive. But they are not with me.

Euphemia: What?

She said, collapse on the floor and let her tears out. Patriot Knight feels pity for her and she is telling the truth. So he decided to give her a folder.

Patriot Knight: Here. This folder contains the location of Lelouch and Nunnally. It also has pictures with it. All I'm asking is to never share with everyone, especially your sister.

Euphemia: My sister is gone. She's someone else.

Her mood changes as she is still mad at her and turns her head away.

Patriot Knight: I see... Well, it's your decision. But remember, despite her actions that are a crime against humanity, she is still a sister and sister will always be forgiven when the time comes.

Euphemia: You think so?

Patriot Knight: That is up to you, not to me. Here, take it.

He said. Euphemia slowly takes a folder from him and when she opens it to see the picture of Lelouch and Nunnally grown up and they are in Ashford Academy. She is very happy to see them alive and hopes she can visit them one day.

Euphemia: Thank you, Patriot Knight.

He gave her a nod.

Patriot Knight: It seems I make the right person to be trusted. Anyway, I hope you ask me more questions. But I have a plan for that.

Euphemia: Hm? What's that?

Patriot Knight: I have to capture you so we can talk to each other and understand what we are doing for this world.

Euphemia: Then, will you capture me now?

Patriot Knight: No. Not here. I have to be captured you on the battlefield. I may also be involved with Cornelia.

Aiwi: Are you sure you can trust that Britannian princess?

She said, pouring water on a glass.

Daniel: Yes, I am. Unlike other imperial Britannian family members, Euphemia is a person who is a pacifist and tries to coexist. She is aware of Social Darwinism created by her father, the emperor, and she dislikes discrimination and racism because Britannian is superior than other races.

Aiwi: Hm... Okay. I can trust you. I hope you have a plan to capture two princesses in one place. Also, how would you know Cornelia will find and destroy the JLF?

Daniel: I just know it. I know Cornelia will find JLF sooner or later. In the meantime, we have a job to do. There's drug trafficking selling refrains to Japanese who are feeling despair and go see the place that once was before Japan invasion. It really makes me sick.

Aiwi: My people have suffered so much after their lives have been lost, Daniel. They are desperate to go back to the lives they used to live in.

Daniel: Still, this is very wrong. I'm gonna make sure all refrains in every location in Japan will be removed permanently.

He said in very determination.

Aiwi: Ohh... Sounds like a man is gonna have a good vision for the sake of the people in the world. I like it. So what about Milly?

Daniel: Milly will go meet up with Kallen at her mansion. Probably girl stuff.

She said, drinking a glass of water.

Lelouch just returned to see C.C is lying on the bed wearing a straitjacket.

C.C: Hey Lelouch, seems busy, don't you?

Lelouch: I'm always busy. I am preparing for next actions if we want the people to join the Black Knights.

C.C: Oh? So are you in competition? The ULA has more recruits than JLF and Black Knights. They achieve more things before you announce the creation of the Black Knights. Exposing the truth two times in public will surely go there rather than go to you.

Lelouch: I know it will work. I really don't know the true reason why ULA came to this world. What are their motives? What is their true goal?

C.C stands up from the bed.

C.C: Oh yeah, by the way, someone knows you have the power of Geass, as well as your true origin.

Lelouch became shocked that someone knows his power and his secret identity as a royal member of the Holy Britannian Empire. He started to feel worried.

Lelouch: What? Who? How do you know?

She chuckled.

C.C: You're so silly, Lelouch.

Lelouch: Enough joke! Who contacted you? If someone knows me then they know my sister as well. It's probably an OSI agent, isn't it?

C.C: Settle down. It's not the OSI agent you should worry about. In fact, I know someone you are familiar with.

C.C: Do you not know? That must be that young man from this academy. I don't know his name, but he is a Britannian and also a part of ULA.

Lelouch: What!

He is so surprised that a student happens to be a member of ULA and he is in the academy. He will find a student who is a member of ULA and he will get some answers from them. But finding a student is hard since a person didn't tell their name to C.C and there are many students studying in the academy so it's difficult to find it.

Lelouch: I see, I have to be more cautious of who I can trust. C.C, if that person contacts you, I want you to contact me and tell me their name. I cannot be sure who they are, and what they want here in this academy besides my secret identity and the power you gave me.

C.C: Hmph. Do you think so? If you are really sure of it, then there's nothing I can be worried about. Besides, the ULA just gave me protection. Who knows? Maybe they like to ask me questions about the power of the Kings.

Lelouch growls at her.

Lelouch: You witch. You really don't know what you're getting at.

C.C: Heh.

She shrugged. Lelouch storms out of the room and goes to a different room to calm himself down. He returned to his priority to make plans for next action.

Milly: Quite the complicated home life you have. isn't it.

Kallen: So what was it you wanted to give me?

Milly: Grandfather asked me to pass this on.

Kallen: You mean the principal?

She said as Milly placed a transcript to her on the table. This seems surprising for Kallen.

Milly: Your transcript since middle school. I thought I'd better give them to you off of school grounds.

Kallen: So my secret's out then, isn't it? That I'm actually an Eleven and Britanian half-breed. That was my stepmother down there. My real mother was that clod of a maid who knocked over the vase.

She said as she finished signing up the transcript.

Milly: And your father.. is he the head of the Statfeld family?

Kallen: My mother is such a fool. In the end, she wound up a servant. She doesn't have any real skills. And no matter who's ridiculing her, all she can do is laugh like it's nothing. She didn't have to choose to stay in this house, you know? She's just clinging to some old lover who jilted her.

Milly: You really hate your mother, don't you.

She said, feeling sorry for her background story between her and her mother.

Kallen: I just find her depressing.

Milly: Well, this is getting a little heavy. Imagine, the wife and the daughter and the other woman, all living together.

Kallen: Ah, it could be worse. Three square meals and a roof, right? I mean, it's not unbearable. Most of the time, anyway.

Milly: That's good....

She said, lowering her head down thinking what would the future think of this world without Daniel coming here. Will it continue the cycle of hate forever? Then Kallen interrupts her.

Kallen: Um? You alright? You look down.

She snapped back to reality and replied to her.

Milly: Ah! Sorry. Just thinking about something on my mind.

Kallen: Like what?

Milly: The future. But let's not get to other topics. What I should say is somethings in life we can bear on our own, but when you add them all up,

they eventually break you.

Kallen: Hm?

Milly: Oh, don't worry. I won't lie, I'm always hungry for secrets, but I'd never talk about this.

She said as she picked up a tea and drank it.

Lelouch and Suzaku are in the room. Lelouch is reading a magazine about Zero and the Black Knights while Suzaku tries to put something on Arthur the cat in a cardboard box only to get bitten on his hand.

Lelouch: I can't believe you teared up. That's so embarrassing.

Suzaku: It's called honesty.

Lelouch: Well, good thing's the Black Knights were there to save them. That's all I can say.

Suzaku: If they wanted to catch criminals, they could have joined the police force, you know? Why don't they, I wonder.

Lelouch:

They probably don't think the cops are up to the job.

I tend to agree.

Suzaku:

The police may not be that effective right now, but they could evoke change from within.

Lelouch: Yeah, and in the process, they get all tangled up in red tape and bureaucracy.

Suzaku: If they had done everything in their power to change things, that might hold water. As long as they don't, then all of it's just self-righteous posturing.

Lelouch: Self-righteous?

Suzaku: And what constitutes evil in their eyes? What standards are they using? It's nothing but self-satisfying gratification. And about the ULA...

Daniel: What about the ULA?

Both Lelouch and Suzaku were surprised to see him entering the room without them noticing it. Daniel seems not happy to say something about the ULA; he just created it to change a better future and liberate it from oppression and tyranny.

Lelouch: Oh Danie, uh, Suzaku just says that Black Knights are just self-righteous who believe in themselves. He possibly thinks they might cause some chaos.

Daniel: Oh? And what about the ULA, huh?

He casually walks towards Suzaku with his normal, but angry expression. Suzaku can't help but feel scared of him.

Suzaku: Well, the ULA, I know they exposed both truths of what's going on in the two ghettos. But they should've just joined the military or maybe to be part of the government to fix it from within the system.

Daniel: Oh? Including joining the agency taking orders from the emperor himself?

He stopped right near Suzaku's face. He kept gazing at him through the eyes.

Suzaku: Yeah, also that one. But you should believe me that if they want to change for the better , they have to change it from within. Imagine if they could accomplish it, things will change without shedding blood on people's lives.

Daniel: So you're saying that the ULA are nothing more than a pretender that's true motive is to create violence on the people aka the Britannians? That they are terrorists?

Suzaku: Well, if you put it that way.

There's silence in the atmosphere until he just said.

Daniel: Hmm... I see, I see. I understand.

Suzaku: You do?

Daniel: Yeah, I understand what you said. But, what I really don't know is you really don't know anything about what the ULA stands for.

Suzaku: Uh, huh?

Lelouch: Um, guys?

He said, trying to avoid the fighting here. Daniel turned his head away before he uppercut to the chin as Suzaku was hit and fell on the floor.

Lelouch: Daniel! What was that for!

Daniel: You don't know damn everything about the ULA!

Suzaku coughs out as he massages his chin before being picked up on the hair by Daniel staring at him through his fury eyes.

Daniel: The Patriot Knight has opened our eyes to what that Prince Clovis bastard did to the people of Shinjuku and you are just denying what's happening there! How stupid you are!

He said, punching him to the face.

Lelouch: H-Hey...

Daniel: The ULA is not just a group trying to hide their true nature of cruelty! They don't kill people without reason or bring fear to them. They are the true justice of this world!

He punched him again.

Lelouch: Hey, stop it.

Daniel: They are against terrorism, and you have a big mouth to calling them terrorist when the people of Japan suffered under Britannia oppression!

He punched him again.

Lelouch: Stop!

Daniel: Oh, and let's not forget that Cornelia tries to attempt the repeat of Shinjuku ghetto by massacring the people in order to lure out Zero or Patriot Knight, huh? Is that what you mean?

Suzaku: W-Wait... I...

Daniel: Oh quit whining and grow up like a man you are.

He super punched to the head as Suzaku fell on the ground then Daniel grabs him on the collar and pins him against the wall.

Daniel: The ULA is not just a terrorist like the others. They're liberators! Protectors for all people have been oppressed by the strong because they are weak and deserve to be treated badly. The Britannia Empire is ruled by that tyrannical emperor who doesn't give a damn to everyone, especially to his own people!

Suzaku: But.. but it's not true-

Daniel: But you're being so idealistic. Is that you really are? An idealistic fool believes in changing the system from within when corrupted government members have high noble status and rights to treat others harshly for their righteousness. Now that is a joke!

He said as he continued punching him to the face. Lelouch had enough as he stood up and tried to stop him from hurting his best friend by using a geass.

Lelouch: Daniel!

Daniel: What?

He said, looking at him.

Lelouch: Stop at once!

He said as a flying red glowing bird flew towards his eye. But then, something happened. It didn't affect him, causing to feel a bit of sting on his eye. This also caused Lelouch to feel the pain as he placed his hand on his eye.

Lelouch (thoughts): Gah! My eye... Why isn't my geass working on him?

Daniel (thoughts): Do you think you can try to use geass on me? I have an anti-geass eye lens to block anything when someone likes you using a geass.

???: Please stop!

Everyone turns around to see Shirley who is terrified of what she just saw here.

Shirley: D-Daniel, what are you doing? Why are you hurting Suzaku?

Daniel didn't respond as he dropped Suzaku on the floor. Suzaku has bruises on his face.

Daniel: Sorry to see this, Shirley. But Suzakus has something bad about the ULA when they protect the people considered as weak, and expose the truth two times in the media. No one would ever say that when Britannnia commits crimes against humanity.

Then he walked past her as he just said.

Daniel: You should know it when Britannia is on the conquest thanks to his Social Darwinism. Now excuse me.

He leaves the room. Shirley is shocked and then she goes to Suzaku to see he is okay from his beatings.

Shirley: You alright?

Suzaku: Y-Yeah... I'm alright.

Shirley: Good. But, I don't want my friends fighting each other so later on, you and Daniel will apologize to each other.

Suzaku; But-

Shirley: No buts!

Suzaku: Right...

Lelouch calms down after his pain subsides. He is thinking in his mind about Daniel's behavior.

Lelouch (thoughts): His behavior seems different before we have met. I never saw him act like that. He's probably a supporter like other commoners who like the ULA and willing to join their cause seeing them as liberators. Wait...

His eyes widened from his realization.

Lelouch (thoughts): No way... It could be... him? He's an ULA spy?

The mall

Milly: You punched him because he said something about ULA? Daniel!

She outlashed at him as they were walking.

Daniel: Milly, I understand he's our friend, but saying that to the ULA is very offensive. It also offended me as well.

Milly: And you just have a right to beat him! Like a Britannian did to Japanese labelled as Elevens.

Daniel: Look, I-

He sighed.

Daniel: I'm sorry. But you should know I don't like people who are being so idealistic. I am realistic. I've seen the reality in my world and so does your world. It really sickens me.

Milly deeply sighs and replies to him.

Milly: I know how you feel. But it doesn't give you a right to hurt Suzaku like that. So are you going to call him Eleven because he is too idealistic and a traitor to his own people.

Daniel: N-No. I don't want to act like those racist assholes.

Milly: Then don't beat him up. He's one of us, and our friend. You two will apologize to each other once we finish the Refrain problem.

Daniel: Yeah.

As they were walking, they spotted Britannian punks beating up a Japanese man who is selling hotdogs. The people look at them and they are too afraid to step in as they might do the same thing as Japanese man so they just ignore and mind their business. Seeing him beaten up makes him angry as he is going to intervene.

Milly: Daniel, please.

Daniel: But I have to...

Milly: I know, but...

Daniel: I'm sorry, but I'm not letting it stand.

He said as he walked toward them. Milly is very worried about him intervening to stop those punks from beating up a poor Japanese man.

Daniel: Hey punks!

The Britannian punks look at him behind.

Daniel: You should leave him alone.

Britannia punk 1: What do you say?

Britannia punk 2: Sounds like we got an Eleven lover here.

The Britannian punks gather around on Daniel as he is surrounded. The citizens just watched to see Daniel being surrounded by the punks. Milly was scared and wanted to save him, but she can't reveal her fighting skill in front of everyone. Among the citizens, there's Kallen and Lelouch, out of nowhere, just shocked to see Daniel is hanging with Milly just suddenly being ganged up on Daniel by those punks.

Kallen: Lelouch, Daniel is going to...

Lelouch: I know. This isn't good.

Britannia punk 1: So, tell me, are you to save that Eleven over there?

Daniel: I see that you boys have not learned so much after Clovis committed crimes and ordered the massacre on Shinjuku, huh? Sounds bitchy for you.

Britannia punk 3: What! How dare you!

Britannia punk 1: Why you- You're Britannian!

Daniel: Oh? Am I? Well, I suppose I have to against the discrimination policy made by your precious emperor.

Britannia punk 1: Oh, I see. You're from a group of traitors supporting the ULA, aren't ya? Well, here's what happens when someone turns against the empire!

He said as he raised his fist and went towards him.

Milly: Daniel!

She cried, worrying he might get hurt. As his fist goes straight to him, Daniel grabs him and slams him on the ground, breaking his spine. A punk let out a scream in pain. The Britannian punks are shocked to see their buddy just being slamp on the ground by him. Daniel rotates his head as he is preparing for a fight.

Daniel: Well, which of you goes next?

Britannia punk 2: You son of a bitch!

Daniel: Heh. Thought so.

He grabbed his arm when a punk tried to attack him only to be twisted, his arm breaking a bone and then he punched hard to the face. The two punks go to attack together but Daniel dodge the attack and kick at a punk and then he punches to the chest a few times on another punk until he finally gets hurt so bad. All punks are laying on the ground feeling pain so much they neve have before. Everyone, including Milly, Kallen, and Lelouch are shocked to see him taking down four punks without a sweat.

Daniel: Remember, boys. He's a Japanese, not Eleven. If I see you beat him again, I'll break more than your bones.

He said. He ignored the comments from the people as he went to a Japanese to see if he was okay.

Daniel: Hey, you alright.

A Japanese man looked up to see a man wearing a student uniform.

Japanese man: Huh? A Britannian student! What can I get for you? How about a nice California-

Daniel: Hey, hey, hey, calm down. You're okay now.

He placed his hand on his shoulder.

Daniel: But yeah, I like some California hot dogs. Both of us. And for that...

He pulled out a wallet and gave him a few Britannian money which was surprising for a Japanese man.

Daniel: This money is yours.

Japanese man: U-Uh... Thank you, mister.

Daniel: No problem.

Kallen and Lelouch watch to see him helping a hot dog seller to pull him up and caring for him. Kallen was surprised to see someone like him helping out a Japanese makes her feel something about him that she really doesn't know much about.

Kallen: Wow... You see how he dealt with them.

Lelouch: Yeah.

He said. he gazes at him seeing he has fighting skills which he never knew much about.

Lelouch: Just who really are you? What are you hiding?

He muttered.

They continue walking outside the mall after he takes care of Britannian punks. Milly just said.

Milly: Wow. You really number on them.

Daniel: Discrimination is something I have stronly against. Back where I come from, there was once discrimination against other races until the people raise their voice about their concern and the US and other two nations passed the bill of ban discrimination act. That was a long time ago. Until today, there's no discrimination in my home, but racism can still there no matter how tried to rid it.

Milly put up a smile as she leaned over his shoulder.

Milly: It is a good thing I have you, Daniel. You are a really special person.

Daniel: I'm no special. Just trying to fix this world where those three nations are fighting each other for world domination. But nevermind that, let's focus on our lives.

Milly: Yeah. I like that. Let's go find some place to eat.

They were in a private room where they were eating fancy food. Daniel tasted Britannian food and it was delicious to his taste. They talked about their personal lives. She laughed when Daniel told her about accidentally breaking her mother's favorite vase and his mother spank him as punishment.

Milly: Seriously? You could've checked where you were throwing it.

Daniel: That was a long time ago when I was a kid. I just made a mistake.

Milly: You know, coming from a boy from another universe, this is so interesting of your story. So there's the war between Humanity and Harvest Empire?

Daniel: Yeah. My father was leading the navy armada to engage the enemy empire who was sucking up all resources from planets using a large size mothership. We were able to destroy it, but it cost a lot of lives.

Milly: Sorry to bring it up.

Daniel: Oh it's nothing. It's all in the past now besides the Harvest Empire is no longer exist. Anyway, I have been doing some PE every day to have great performance grades and doing some sport like American football, baseball, tennis, and even wrestling.

Milly: Oh...

Daniel: I also learn martial arts and kung fu techniques when I need to defend myself. That is how I can fight without a sweat. My family and I celebrate holidays. It is a very memorable moment I have been enjoying in my life.

Milly: You have a good life there. Very good life. But me...

She lowered her head, feeling sad at this moment. He places his hand on her which makes her blushed.

Daniel: Hey, there are still other ways to find a good life. Maybe once this is over, we can go to my universe and try to hang out more.

She is starting to feel blushing.

Milly: I would love to.

Then, this is a moment as both of them lean closer to each face as they close their eyes until someone is calling him.

Daniel: Huh? Who could've be?

He pulled out his smartphone as he said.

Daniel: Yeah?

Goro (phone call): Sir, you and Milly must come back to the base. We are waiting for you to start the operation.

Daniel: Understood... Hey Milly, wanna bring down drugs?

Milly: Yeah! Let's do it.

She said. He paid a bill and went outside, returning to the base to start the operation tonight.

Goro: Patriot Knight, sir. According to intelligence from the CIA, the Black Knights are targeting drug dealers. There was one who contained a drug called refrain. Apparently, it has the capability to induce hallucination flashbacks to pleasant past experiences before they lose everything.

Jiyu: And they are targeting Japanese. Japanese were once proud people and Britannia took their lives away. They are very desperate so they'll use refrain to go back to the past so they won't feel suffering.

Goro: There are also people in there who are being drugged. One of them is Kallen's mother. She is a servant of the Stadtfeld family which is suffering much so she takes a refrain.

Patriot Knight: Then we must stop their operation.

Justitia: So how do we do it?

Patriot Knight: One knightmare or Bellator will be enough. The rest are special-op Sentinel troops. We'll enter it at the back of the warehouse and take out the mafia thugs.

Justitia: And we'll take those people out of there. Alright, let's do it.

Patriot Knight: Operation Drug Out is a go!

Meanwhile, the Black Knights are stationed there waiting for Zero to give them a signal.

Tamaki: What the hell is Zero thinking? After all his talk about bringing down Britannia, he's just got us running around helping the police.

Ohgi: Still feels pretty good to have the will of the people behind us, though.

Tamaki: Yeah, he's right. We're totally heroes on the Net.

Tamaki: Ah yeah! Them. I wonder when they come here the same as we did. Probably they are being jealous.

Kallen was sitting against the wall thinking about her personal life and what she's been through today.

He said. Then, there is a light sparkling coming from the distance giving them a signal.

Yoshida: There's the signal from Zero.

Sugiyama: I can't believe he got in there.

Patriot Knights and his units are teleported behind the warehouse. Justitia is piloted by her knightmare Athena as one special unit only in this mission. The Special Atlas Team is also with them too. Patriot Knight gave an order to smash through the wall, and she did it. They entered the warehouse to see a dark room inside.

Joker: Man, it's sure dark here.

Mitchell: Stay cautious.

Sentinel spec-op: Got'cha.

Patriot Knight and the others went on foot to find those people who were being drugged. Justitia is looking on the radar screen when she finds a one red dot up ahead.

Justitia: I got the enemy up ahead. It's only one unit. I also detected there are a few yellow dots up ahead as well.

Jiyu: That must be the Japanese. Let's go!

They keep going as Athena goes first. Patriot Knight and the others finally found the drugged Japanese people. Patriot Knight went to Kallen's mother as he caught her from falling and he gently laid her on the ground.

Patriot Knight: Ms. Kozuki! Can you respond to me?

There was no response from her. She checked her pulse.

Patriot Knight: She's still okay. But the refrain has drugged her.

Suddenly, a red glasgow enters the dark room as she turns on night vision to see not only drugged Japanese people, but also Patriot Knight as well.

Kallen: Huh? Patriot Knight?

Then she saw her mother laying down with him.

Kallen's Mother: Really, Naoto. Please, I need you to keep an eye on your little sister.

Kallen: My God, how weak a woman are you, Mother... First you give in to Britannia, then to a man, and now this... My brother is gone forever. Let him go!

Then she was suddenly attacked by knightpolice at her right side.

Kallen: The Knightpolice!?

She said. But the Knightpolice was being surprised by Athena as she grabbed a radiant wave arm to the face.

Milly: Corrupted filth.

She said so distasteful as she blew him up into pieces. Kallen gets out of her knightmare and goes to her mother still angry at her.

Kallen: Damn it! I don't need you! I don't want you!

Hearing her words makes him feel his blood boil. He couldn't believe what Kallen just said to her mother like that. It makes him want to give her a punishment for saying that to her mother. But he is better than that. He decides what to do with her. He stands and walks towards her. To Kallen 's perspective, she sees a tall man at least 3 feet taller.

Kallen: Pa-

He slapped her to the face.

Kallen: What was that for!?

Patriot Knight: For being an idiot, Kallen Kozuki!

Kallen: Wait a minute, how did you know-

Patriot Knight: Silence! I'm the one talking here! Do you know why your mother always stays with you at your house? Just look at her.

He pointed his finger at her mother.

Kallen's Mother: Kallen... Naoto... I'm here for you. I'm here for you, Kallen. I'm here, as I always have been.

Patriot Knight: The reason she stayed with you is because your mother loves you and she willingly sacrificed everything she had just for your eternal happiness and now, you are just making a fool of yourself and making that sacrifice goes to waste! You're an ungrateful child who doesn't know that a mother always loves her child and supports by sacrificing everything for her! Is that what you want for your mother!

He said in a very angry dark voice.

Kalen: Then that's... that's why she stayed in his house? You stayed there for me? You fool! Or maybe... I'm a fool.

She began to have a breakdown and let her tears out in mental breakdown. She fell on the floor crying that it is her fault for doing that to her mother like that. He takes one knee in front of her.

Patriot Knight: Listen Kallen, your mother loves you forever, adn unconditionally, she will always be there to protect you and support you no matter how hard life is. Your brother is gone... and now your mother will be gone as well if you abandoned her. Who will protect you? Your stepmother, she doesn't care about you because I know you are a half-breed and I know there are those who are against half-breeds. Once your mother dies, you will live with regret and sadness for the rest of your lives for what you did to your mother.

He said. He stood up and carried Kallen's mother outside. Kallen just said.

Kallen: Wait! Patriot Knight, please, I-I understand now... Please don't take her away from me. I love my mother forever. I-I don't want to lose her like I lose my brother.

Patriot Knight: Kallen, I'm not gonna take your mother away.

Kallen stopped crying for 5 seconds and looked up at him.

Kallen: You're not...

Patriot Knight: No. But I have to take her to my place where my doctors will give her treatment After it's done, I'll bring her back to you. Is that udnerstood?

He said. She give him a nod.

Kallen: Understood. I let you take care my mother.

He nodded. The Black Knights arrived late to see everything is already taken care of.

Ohgi: Looks like we're not the only one here.

Sugiyama: Hey, those are ULA guys...

Tamaki: Yeah. That means Patriot Knight is here!

Zero: So it seems...

Patriot Knight gives Kallen's mother to Gideon as he carries her outside the place. Zero goes to him.

Zero: I see we meet again here. You arrive here faster than we are.

Patriot Knight: We're taking a shortcut so yeah, that's why we're here.

Zero: Have you come here for the same reason as we are?

Patriot Knight: Absolutely. We're here to take down drug dealers here who drugged Japanese using Refrain. We'll take these people to my place for medical treatment.

He said. Ohgi and the others are surprised that he calls them by their nationality. Japan was once an independent nation before being conquered by Britannia. Meanwhile, C.C is on the top watching them from above.

C.C: False tears bring pain to those around you. A false smile brings pain to one's self.

She looks at Patriot Knight talking to Zero.

C.C: I wonder who you really are under that mask.

They are outside the warehouse as they get those drugged people out of the place. A few Razorback VTOLs arrived to pick them up. Jiyu helped KAllen to carry her mother to the VTOL and place her there.

Kallen: Thanks.

Jiyu: No problem. I'll leave you guys alone.

She went away. Kallen places her hand on her mother's hand as she can hear her saying.

Kallen's mother: Hang in there... Hang in there, Kallen... My little girl...

Kallen: Mother... I'm so sorry for not realizing what you were trying to protect me and support you have for me. Don't you worry... I will change the world so you and I can live together in normal life. I promise you.

She said. She watched the door closed adn flies away from the area. She can feel someone holding her shoulder as she turns around to see Jiyu as she said.

Jiyu: Your mother will be alright under our care.

Kallen: Yeah. Thank you. Tell me, uh I hate to be rude, but are you a Japanese?

Jiyu: Yeah. I'm from Shinjuku ghetto.

Kallen: You were there?

Jiyu: Yeah. He saved my life back there. He gave me food and shelter where all people regardless what races they come from, will live peacefully without conflict. I chose to join the ULA to do what is right and take down tyrannical nations in this world.

Kallen: I see. It's a good thing we have people like you fighting for the best.

Patriot Knight, Justitia and Zero approach them.

Patriot Knight: We finished loading all Japanese people to our hidden base. They will be cured from refrain in no time.

Kallen: Patriot Knight... Thank you for opening my eyes.

Justitia: You know him. He's a type of person protecting people and liberating everyone from tyrannical oppression.

Patriot Knight: And with that in mind...

He turns around at Zero.

Patriot Knight: Thanks for helping us get those people loaded to VTOL.

Zero: I appreciate your thanks. Now that we are done here, I would like to learn more about you. Why not show me your face.

He said. Before he said anything to him, Jiyu intervened.

Jiyu: How about You show us your face, Zero.

They both looked at each other like they wanted to cut their throats. Justitia came to stop them from starting the fight.

Justitia: Hey. hey. Let's not get too hasty. We need to go. We're so tired tonight.

Patriot Knight: Agree. Let's go.

They went back to the base when Kallen rushed them to get him some answers.

Kallen: Wait! I need to ask questions from you.

Patriot Knight: Hm?

They look at each other's faces and then look at her.

Justitia: Sorry. But we cannot answer those questions. These are secrets we don't want to share with anyone that we tried to hide from our enemy.

Kallen: Oh, I understand.

She said. After that, they waved to say goodbye and leave the area. Inside the Athena, she removed her helmet and looked back at Kallen on the screen.

Milly: So this is what you want... liberating your home. Your true home. Good luck there, we have the same goal too.

Daniel and Suzaku are sitting apart, staring at each other's eyes. Milly and the others, especially Nunnally considered as honorary members, are in this so-called trial about the argument between these two boys. After making through trials, Mily stood up and said.

Milly: Alright! As the president of the School Council, Daniel and Suzaku must shake their hands and forgive each other so we can be friends again.

Daniel (thoughts): Friend with him? *snort* Yeah, right.

Nunnally: Daniel... we've known each other since you enrolled in this academy two years ago. I like you as a friend. But hearing what they told me, I don't want you two fighting each other. It makes me very sad. Maybe my brother might hit you to get your senses.

Lelouch: Nunnally, please...

She giggled and then went into a calm and serious mood.

Nunnally: But please, shake both hands as an apology.

Rivalz: Yeah. You don't wanna make Lulu angry when you make his sister cry, wouldn't you?

Lelouch: Rivalz...

Shirley: Yeah! What he said.

Daniel sighed.

Daniel: Okay, okay... We'll do it.
