The Tokyo Settlement is in ruins, and the Liberator is flying through them as it passes by dead bodies, shattered nightmares, robotic robots, and crashed spacecraft. The smoke fills the sky. The assault invasion completely destroyed the buildings. When he came upon Horten planes, attack gunships, and airborne Panzerritters, he continued to fly in the sky.

Panzerritter pilot: Target confirmed. It's the Liberator. Engaged.

Patriot Knight: Time to destroy these fascist bastards.

He took out the Washington Fury and started hacking at the adversaries. He has no mercy since he believes they are monsters who ought to have died in the conflict long ago. He finished off the adversaries. After stopping the Reichmeister's beam onslaught and donning a laser gun, he kept flying through the air.

Albrecht: Really, American? Coming alone to face me alone wasn't a good idea.

He spoke. The Liberator flies at him and hits him with his Washington Fury sword, but Reichmeister defends his blow with his own sword. They engage in a sword fight above the skies. Then Reichmeister throws him down and strikes him on the ground.

Daniel: Damn it! He makes a good fight, but I can do better!

After knocking him back with a body punch, he waved his sword in his direction. The Reichmeister deflects the attack, and they resume sword dueling.

ULA Hokkaido Base

At the base, a VTOL transport arrived. When the door opened, Aiwi was seen carrying an unconscious Milly on her shoulder. It fell to the ground. When he finds Milly on Aiwi's shoulder and that she is unconscious, Lt. Gen. Goro goes over to her.

Goro: Aiwi! What happened to her!

Aiwi: Lt. General... Has everyone already evacuated?

Goro: Yes. But why? Wait, where is Patriot Knight? Where is he?

Aiwi: He's...

Her right hand is clenching as she replies to him.

Aiwi: He is fighting on his own.

Goro: What!

Aiwi: Look, there is no time! Listen, I want this place to be destroyed before Ryukyu Imperials come and take this place.

Goro: But-

Aiwi: And I want you to head back to Sanctuary and remain there. From now on, you will be charged with protecting the underground base and city. We must not allow them to know its existence. Is that understood?

Goro: I-

Aiwi: I said, is it understood?

Glaring at him, she remarked. He noticed how worn-out and exhausted she appeared. He sighs.

Goro: I understood.

Aiwi then enters the portal while holding Milly on her shoulder. Following Goro's instruction to evacuate to another planet and then destroy the base in order to prevent the Nazis or Ryukyu Imperials from obtaining it, ULA personnel enter the portal. He boards an aircraft and returns to Sanctuary beneath to assume command.

The Liberator punches Reichmeister in the face as he is pushed away. Albrecht wiped his bloody mouth and braced himself for another attack. Swinging his Washington Fury sword in his direction, he initiates the assault. The Reichmeister suffers the least amount of damage since he deflects it with his own sword while they are engaged in a sword battle. They collide and move all over the place while fighting. The Reichmeister jumps back away from him before launching a laser gun at him.

The Liberator dodges the laser beam and retaliates with his magnum gun. With the metamorphosis into horse mode, the Reichmeister avoided the attack and sprinted in his direction. Liberator then uses his sword to parry the blow as the Reichmeister lunges on him with his sword. When Reichmeister turns around, the horse kicks him, knocking him back and striking him in the face.

Daniel: Shit!

He attempted to stand and was about to fight when he noticed the Reichmeister was nowhere to be seen.

Daniel: What the? Where the hell are you?

Holding the grip of Washington Fury's sword, he keeps watch and scans the area. The screen abruptly informed him as the Reichmeister emerged behind him for a surprise attack, but Daniel immediately whirled around and blocked the attack.

Albrecht: Lucky. But good fortune won't shield you any longer!

They are both struggling to block each other's attacks because neither of them can break it off. Daniel was about to break it off to prepare for his next strike when Goryo arrived from behind him and attacked him in the back with his laser katana. Daniel, aka Patriot Knight, was focused on him and felt like he was being stabbed in the back. Worse, a laser katana almost pierced him inside the pilot's cockpit, stabbing at his right shoulder. In anguish, he screamed. Goryo pulls the sword back, and Liberator's motionless body falls to the ground.

Reichmeister and Goryo simultaneously glance at their foe's lifeless body on the ground. Albrecht recently said to his friend,

Albrecht: Kenshin Sakurai, so glad you made it. What took you so long to get here while I'm trying to make him focus on me?

Kenshin: Shut up! You were calling me to help you fight him when I was busy hunting down my enemies that tried to escape.

He looks at him before he looks down at him.

Kenshin: But nevertheless, we got him.

Daniel let out a gasp as he realized his Liberator had been severely damaged, destroying the entire operating system. He also realized his right arm had been severed, and his arm lay on the floor. He tried to move his body whilst also groaning in pain. In addition, he is bleeding from his arm. Then he saw the claw fingers pierce through the cockpit door and rip it open, revealing Reichmeiser and Goryo looking down on him.

Daniel: Goddamnit...

Through the speaker, they both said it to him.

Albrecht: Look how the great and powerful have fallen. I assumed your civilization possessed advanced technology capable of outperforming everyone else like us. But as I watch you lying there, I can't help but smile at how we've beaten you.

Daniel spits the blood from his mouth and continues to stare at them.

Albrecht: But in all seriousness, you have the best military that can reach into the future, where anything is possible, and you could send more of them to fight against us. Instead, your plan coordination has failed you. Your armies were defeated by our forces. We defeated your allies. We won.

Daniel: You can never win! Others will oppose you and your fascist new world order. I guarantee that two worlds will declare war on you. Someday, you two will pay!

Albrecht: Using my EMP, we brought down your powerful ship from space, destroying it instantly along with everyone here. When we grow significantly stronger than they are, we can defeat them at any time.

Kenshin: And your defense is no longer a match for us. This Japan is mine, and if I give them something they can't refuse, I will have thousands of Japanese people to serve me.

Daniel: They never follow you! I've shown them how despicable your actions in WWII were, and even if you rule this Japan, they will fight to overthrow your imperial rule.

Kenshin: Not everyone is interested in your world history. I assure those who want to change for the betterment of our race and make us superior to inferior races that we will be welcomed with open arms. I can assure you of that.

Then he said to him,

Kenshin: Let's just kill him and be done with it.

He said this while drawing his laser katana and preparing to end him, but Albrecht stopped him.

Albrecht: Your Majesty, no. I have a better idea. Let's put our newly developed cannon to the test on him. Don't you think so, my friend?

While contemplating his plan, Kenshin turned to face his enemy. He turned to face him again to await a response.

Kenshin: Yes. Let's give it a shot.

Albrecht: Good...

He grinned as they both turned on their jet motors like jetpacks and shot straight up into the air to pass Daniel's location far away. They get ready, point their experimental, arm-mounted laser weapons at him below the sky.

Daniel tries to maneuver his Liberator but nothing occurs as they prepare to charge their cannons. He then attempts to extract his mech robot, but he is stuck and bleeding out. As the blood continued to stream from his arm, his eyes gradually began to blur. His eyes turn to the sky, and he notices that the light is growing stronger as they prepare to fire their cannons.

As there is no other way out, he simply gives up and lies on his back on the pilot's chair. He regrets his self-centered choice to face them alone in the hopes of assisting others, particularly his lover, in leaving this world. He begins to recall everything that he, Milly, Aiwi, and their other Ashford Academy pals did. The most vivid memory he can hold onto is Milly's realization that she is the most gorgeous person he has ever laid eyes on. They dated for a long period as they grew closer, eventually becoming boyfriend and girlfriend. The most romantic moment they could have imagined is when they kissed each other back from a plane, which is when he realized he couldn't return to her. He is sorely missing her. In addition to expressing his desire for them to have a child together after their marriage, he also wanted to assure her of his unwavering love and pledge to always protect her.

He wiped away tears with a feeble smile as he watched the beam of light grow brighter as it approached.

Daniel: I'm sorry... Milly... Looks like I can't make it back for you...

He spoke while calmly closing his eyes. Those were his final words before the laser beams showered down on him and shattered him into oblivion, causing a tremendous explosion that decimated the surroundings.

...

Milly: DANIEL!!!

He let out a shouting voice as she immediately woke up. She looked around to see a white room with some small furniture. She found herself on a hospital bed with the IV fluid attached on her arm. She removes it and tries to leave the bed when the door opens to see Aiwi enters and then she sees her awake which she's planning to leave the bed.

Aiwi: Milly! You're awake.

Milly: Aiwi...?

She attempts to leave the bed, but Aiwi stops her and tells her not to leave the bed until the doctor arrives.

Aiwi: I'm so glad you're okay. I just hope you forgive me for what I did to you.

Milly: What do you mean? Just where are we? What is this place?

Aiwi: We're back in Area 51 in Parallos Earth.

Milly: Parallos Earth!

She is surprised that she ended up in Parallos Earth where Daniel lives in this universe. But mentioning Daniel, she feels her eyes widened and asks her.

Milly: Aiwi, where is he? Where is Daniel? I need to see him!

Hearing his name makes Aiwi lower her head, feel sad and slowly turn her head away from Milly.

Milly: Aiwi... Where is he? Where is Danny?

Aiwi is silent. She refused to respond to her question.

Milly: Aiwi, where is he? Where's Daniel?

Aiwi refused to answer. Seeing this, Milly angrily grabs her collar and makes her look at her desperate expression on her face.

Milly: Aiwi, please! Where's Daniel! Where is-

Aiwi: HE'S GONE!

She shouted. The room is silent. Milly was shocked by her response.

Milly: W-What...?

Aiwi: H-He's gone... He asked us to leave so he can go to fight the enemy alone. When the news came out for all of us, Daniel the Patriot Knight was killed in action. He is gone...

She said, trying not to get the emotion to get to her. But after hearing news about his death, she can't hold it anymore as small tears reveal in her eyes.

Milly: No... No... You're lying. I know Daniel... He won't just die, right? Right?

Aiwi: Milly, it's the truth. Everyone heard of the news-

Milly: YOU'RE LYING!

She grabs her closer to the face as Milly's tears let out from her eyes.

Milly: I don't believe those lies! I know because you stopped me from helping him to fight! What kind of friend stopped me from helping my lover!

Aiwi: It's true! The news reached all of us and we are very devastated by his death!

Milly: SHUT UP!

She punched her to the face as Aiwi fell on the floor. Milly then grabs her and pins her against the floor holding her collar.

Milly: Why Aiwi!? Why!

Aiwi kicks her, pushing her away then she goes another punch as Milly said.

Milly: WHY DIDN'T YOU LET ME BE WITH HIM!

Milly deflects her blow and strikes her in the face in return. The two girls then start fighting, destroying some of the room's furniture in the process. They are still engaged in a fist-to-fist struggle while on the ground. They punch each other in the face in return. She is fighting her own best friend while Milly is on top of her and she is overcome with despair and hatred. She yelled at her.

Milly: WHY DID YOU STOP ME!!!

Aiwi: BECAUSE HE TOLD ME TO!!!

Milly stops attacking her, taken aback by her reaction. Aiwi's face is bruised from Milly's attack, but she is overcome with emotion and cannot hold back her tears. Milly sat back against the hospital bed, back on top of her. Aiwi slowly rises, wiping away tears.

Aiwi: He... He said he was taking us out of the city to a safe place away from the battlefield. He cared for us and wanted to keep us safe regardless of how many enemies has in Japan. He also made me into his family, and p-promise that I... I...

Because she is crying so hard from missing Daniel so much, Aiwi is unable to continue her explanation. Despair-filled sobs were followed by Milly's own tears. As they attempt to console one another and lessen the sorrow of Daniel's sacrifice in order for everyone to escape, Milly hugs her.

Meeting Room, Area 15 (Parallos World)

During the establishment of refugee zone

When the news reached Area 51 about Daniel being presumed dead in the battlefield, everyone who saved their lives cried in tears and they were in despair about his death, mostly the Black Knights and the ULA.

They gave their everything to fight back against Britannia with the aid of the ULA to free and liberate Japan, only to be destroyed by fascist forces, and they are now entering into the beginning of tyranny and agony in Allos World.

Allos Earth's inhabitants are about to enter a dark era as two formidable fascist organizations ready to unleash their campaign of terror and iron fists. They have no mercy and are the most vicious of organizations. They'll experience it shortly. All they can do is keep fighting the fascists until Parallos returns with reinforcements. They must hang onto the hope that they will eventually arrive for the time being.

The President of the N.A.U. has already set up the evacuation zone for refugees from Allos World. The medical personnel that were sent here went to recover people who got PTSD that have suffered from war and war crimes committed by Ryukyu Imperials. The Black knights, the ULA and even Cornelia loyal followers come to work together as they build their own base for men and women to rest up for a long time and prepare for anything when the time comes to return Allos World and defeat the fascist organizations, and avenge Daniel for giving his life for everyone's lives.

They are holding a conference in the meeting room to try to ease their grief after learning of Daniel's death on the battlefield of Area 11. Kallen is regretful and cries, and he lacks the strength to confront the Nazis and Ryukyu Imperials. Lelouch felt defeated because he couldn't believe the enemy had won with their advanced military arsenal and strategy that could take on Parallo's most advanced galactic military and they had just defeated them. It's no surprise that these groups are dangerous. They didn't have such an arsenal during WW2, but since they were in Allos World first, before Daniel showed up years later, they've been working with them in order to prepare for the war they really desired.

Other members of the room are upset because they have failed to fight back against an enemy that has grown stronger and more powerful than they were during the WW2 era. They are now concerned about what will happen to their world now that two fascist organizations are causing conflicts and establishing a new world order in their image.

Tamaki slams his fist on the table in rage, feeling defeated and unable to defend their newly independent nation; they had just returned only to be ruined by them.

Tamaki: Goddamn it! We failed. We failed to protect our Japan from those murderous bastards!

Inoue was saddened she didn't want to say anything.

Minami: Our Japan will soon turn into a similar Japanese Empire from this world, and they'll do it again.

Kaguya: Princess Euphemia, how's Cornelia?

Euphemia: She is okay. The doctor said she will recover anytime soon. However, I just can't believe Daniel is...

She let out a small tear drop from her eyes hearing the death of Daniel the Patriot Knight fighting alone against the enemy.

Lelouch: This isn't fair. The Nazis and Ryukyu Imperials have powerful arsenals to destroy us. What is worse is that the UNSA heavy battlecruiser is destroyed, losing our advantage of winning the war.

Kallen: Damn it! We just got it back, and now it was taken again!

Asahina: By our own kind.

Chiba: They aren't considered to be part of our kind. They betrayed and disgraced our race!

Ohgi: So now what? We are still recovering from the battle and we lost. So any suggestions?

Kallen: Let's talk about what we are going to do now. With Daniel gone, who will run the ULA now to keep people's hope?

Tohdoh: Hmm...

Lelouch: The general has to remain in Sanctuary to protect his people from being discovered from the surface. Maybe they have to merge with us.

Sugiyama: What?

Lelouch: Listen, General Goro is not with us and the ULA is without the leader to lead them so they have to merge with us; The Black Knights.

Urabe: I don't know. Do they have a choice?

Lelouch is going to respond to his question when a familiar voice spoke to them for a simple word.

Milly: No.

As they enter the room, everyone turns around to find Milly in a high ranking officer's uniform with Aiwi beside her. After grieving her boyfriend's death, Milly seemed to be quite serious. It makes her so serious that she is filled with vengeance for the people who killed her boyfriend and took him away from her. She walks towards them as Lelouch says to her with a relieved expression.

Lelouch: Milly, I'm glad you are alright. How are you feeling right now?

Milly: Fine... How's Nunnally and Sayoko?

Lelouch: They're fine. Just trying to get over it after what happened in the academy.

Milly: Good. And I really don't forget what happened back then.

As she spoke, she looked around the room with a solemn expression on her face.

Milly: Listen, as of now, the ULA lose a leader fallen in the battlefield and a general is in Sanctuary protecting the underground safe haven from the surface, someone needs a new leader to lead the ULA. And I, nominating myself to be the new leader of the ULA.

Everyone was surprised to hear what she had to say about becoming the ULA's new leader.

Tamaki: You're kidding.

Milly: Do I look like a kidding to you!

She was agitated, but she was trying to keep her emotions in check. Tamaki frightenedly raised his hands.

Tamaki: Whoa, whoa! I-I'm sorry there.

Milly: Good... Like I said, I am a new leader of the ULA. I'll take responsibility to hold on to the ULA as it is built by Daniel himself. One who is no longer with us anymore...

She was sad, and she clenched her fists on the table.

Kallen: Milly...

Lelouch: Milly, you look tired. Are you sure about this?

Milly: I am fine, Lelouch. I just want an organization to keep it alive for everyone's sake. That is what he wanted.

Aiwi: She is right. He built an organization just to gather all people regardless of nationality, race, religion and anything else to stand up against tyranny and oppressors. We must not give up, and I know that he would be damned to never lose hope.

Milly: Those fascist bastards murdered him, and we will exact our revenge. We'll avenge him by fighting until the world is free of that evil's grip. We will destroy those evil fascists who are attempting to destroy the future of our world, and we will not allow it to happen. We will triumph. We will fight until the end, no matter how strong and powerful they are. The only question is whether you're in or out.

She spoke with determination. Everyone feels as if their spirits have risen within them, bringing back the fighting spirits. They become more determined because they aren't giving up and are still willing to fight those fascists when they return fully prepared.

Kallen: Yeah! This is for Daniel giving us hope for freedom we deserve to fight!

Euphemia: He helped me to make everyone believe there are chances of coexistence and make me become a different person willing to fight for everyone's future. For Daniel!

Tamaki: Yeah! For Patriot Knight!

Chiba: For Patriot Knight!

Ohgi: For Patriot Knight!

Lelouch: The Black Knights will stand with the ULA to fight the strong against the weak. The fascists have their victory, but we will back with more strength than they ever knew before we hit them. It's time to fight for everyone's lives. For Daniel!

Aiwi: For Daniel!

She raised her katana to the sky and chanted for her adopted brother's death.

Milly: For Daniel...

She said this with determined eyes, knowing that one day, the fascists would succumb to her wrath and her boyfriend would be avenged. She made certain of it.

Milly (on thoughts): Daniel... Thank you so much for all you've done for us. It is now my turn to lead the ULA you established. Your killers will see my rage before I kill them, knowing that my vengeance will not be complete until they are dead.

And it's done! Sorry for taking too long to make this chapter. I am going to focus on Europia Arc as a new character will take place after the death of Daniel Thompson the Patriot Knight. I seriously want to understand to everyone that I have trouble coming up with ideas for making this chapter and I have a lot of important things in my life so I hope you understand what I mean.
