Tokyo Settlement

Everyone from both sides were fighting each other on the battlefield when they noticed something from the sky.

Tohdoh and the Four Holy Swords were busy fighting the enemy when he saw something falling from the sky.

Tohdoh: What the?

Senba: What is it, sir?

Asahina: Uh oh... Look!

He pointed at the sky. They saw a falling Churchill-class destroyer falling before them and the gravity slowed it from falling, but it crashed into their location so Tohdoh ordered his both units and allies.

Tohdoh: Spread out! Get out of the field!

As he said, everyone spreading out in the field as well as Axis forces saw this and went retreat in full panic. The Churchill-class destroyer crashed down killing every person from both sides on impact. Luckily for allies, there are few who manage to escape and survive the falling space navy ship. Tohdoh checks his forces to see they are alright and are able to escape from being crushed. He checks everyone that is able to escape from the falling ship to their position.

Tohdoh: Is everyone alright?

Chilba: Yes sir. But Urabe...

Asahina: Don't worry, sir. He's not dead. But the falling debris did hit his knightmare, losing torso and right arm. He's critically injured, but he will be fine soon.

He was relieved to hear it.

Tohdoh: Take him to the government bureau though it is also being hit too, but only on the top. I hope Princess Euphemia is alright there.

Viceroy Palace

Euphemia was being protected by UNSA marines after the ship crash impact. They see everything is over now. Commander Benjamin goes to approach her as he said.

Benjamin: You highness, you alright?

Euphemia: Y-Yes. What's that sound outside?

Benjamin: I'm afraid it's from our ships that got EMP blast and crush in this location.

She was horrified that UNSA ships were beaten and she guessed that it was the Axis power that did it.

Benjamin: We must get you out of here. Mr. Taizo Kirihara is in the vehicle and it's waiting for you.

Euphemia: But what about my sister?

Benjamin: I'm sure our men will get her. Now follow me.

Benjamin, Euphemia, and four UNSA marines leave the viceroy palace in the vehicle to get away from here.

Tamaki, Minami, Inoue,and Sugiyama are going through the field filled with debris fallen from the sky. Tamaki shouted using his speaker.

Tamaki: Yoshida, Yoshida!

Inoue: Yoshida, where are you!

Everyone is looking for Yoshida who didn't manage to escape because he is piloting Raiko. They kept finding him around the area until Sugiyama saw something.

Sugiyama: Hey! Over here!

They heard him calling so they went towards him. When they reached Sugiyama, they saw Raiko lying there being torn apart. They go to the knightmare as they search for it if Yoshida is in there. Sugiyama and Inoue went to the other side to protect Raiko from any enemy that would pop out somewhere.

Minami: Yoshida, are you there? Please answer me.

Tamaki: Come on! Don't die on us!

He shouted. Then they heard him speaking on the radio.

Yoshida (radio): G... G... Guys... You... came...

Inoue: He's alive!

Minami: Yeah, but not in his condition. Tamaki, with me.

Tamaki: Right!

Both men tore up the cockpit to see Yoshida sitting there, bleeding from injury. Minami gently grabbed him by the knightmare's hand.

Minami: Okay, let's head back to the government bureau.

Everyone goes back to the government bureau to attend medical treatment on Yoshida.

Ashford Academy

After the Churchill-class destroyer and Oppressor-class heavy battlecruiser destruction, Daniel and the others were totally shocked to witness their downfall. But it's not a time to feel despair as taking these people to escape to his universe is a priority.

Luckily for them, the ULA has VTOL transport to evacuate everyone in the academy. As they arrived in the academy, Milly and her ULA soldiers escorted both students and teachers to inside the VTOL transports.

Milly: Remain calm! You're safe so wait your turn. Youngest students go first.

The youngest students go in VTOL transports first then the rest follows them. Lelouch contacts Ohgi to give a report about how many casualties in the battlefield and order to gather all remaining forces to retreat. C2 is still in Gawain to keep an eye out. Daniel sees the girls who are being raped by imperialists were traumatized as they are wrapped around their towels and escorted by ULA soldiers. He felt guilty that he should've checked on Ashford Academy; he didn't know they were planning to go there. But he shook his head and focused on getting these people out of here. James is getting the students and teachers to safety.

Kallen saw Suzaku carrying Ruben on his shoulder so she went to his left shoulder to carry him to the transport. Milly saw her grandfather in such condition given from the imperialist.

Milly: Grandfather!

She ran towards her grandfather.

Milly: Are you alright?

Ruben: Heh, it takes more than that to hit me. I may be an old man, but I have a strong heart... But I guess that battle has been lost.

She sadly nodded. Kallen feels defeated as she can't believe they pull up a plan to take down UNSA ships to make a large impact taking out both sides.

Milly: But right now, we must get out of here. Daniel is planning to take us to his universe.

Suzaku: What!

Ruben: So it seems... I hope we get there safely.

They brought him to the VTOL transport. Daniel goes to her from behind.

Daniel: Milly, I am afraid that Japan has lost. The Axis forces have reached here and we will be overrun.

Milly: I know. But we never give up. We will come back here once we regain our strength and reorganize. We will bring them down. I know we can.

She said in determination despite the imperialist's terrible actions given to her and her friends.

Daniel: Heh, determined as always. You're right, we will come back here once we reorganize the forces and create a plan to take them down.

He said. Meanwhile, Sayoko is carrying Nunnally into VTOL transport as she puts her on seat.

Nunnally: Mom, will we be safe?

Sayoko: Of course. I assure you, we will go somewhere safe.

She said to her adoptive daughter. Sayoko goes out on a transport to see Lelouch is talking on the phone. He seemed serious about the situation after witnessing the UNSA ships crash from the earth's atmosphere. James came to approach them.

James: Sayoko, how's your condition?

Sayoko: I'm fine. The ULA treated me and my daughter very well.

James: Good, good. Now listen, we'll take you guys to our world where you people will be safe there.

She was relieved. But then, James saw something and just said to her.

James: Watch out!

He pushed her away as a spear went through the chest. He coughed out blood from his mouth. Everyone turned around and saw him being stabbed by a spear. Daniel's eyes widened and saw him being stabbed to the chest.

Daniel: James!

The spear pulls out itself from the chest as it goes back to its owner, and it was Annika who did it. But she's not alone, she has a sister beside her and they both show evil grins on their faces.

Annika: Oops! I thought I hit on a woman beside that man.

Anneliese: Maybe you should make better aim, sister.

They both laughed. Sayoko goes to James to see if he's still alive. But when she touched his neck to feel a pulse it confirmed that he is dead.

Sayoko: No...

A man who just died trying to save her life. She turned around at them in anger as she stood up and drew out kunai knives. But she won't do it alone. Daniel, Milly, and Jiyu join her as they casually walk towards them. The ULA soldiers go up to face them too.

Anneliese: Oh? Looks like they want to fight us.

Annika: How cute. Looks like we are killing time.

Daniel: You Nazi bastards kill him! You're going to pay!

Everyone drew their weapons ready to face them.

Anneliese: Heh. Think again.

She whistled to call a large group of lycans and varcolacs came up behind them.

Annika: Now that's what I'm talking about!

And with that, the fight began. The Witch Sisters ordered the monsters to attack them. The ULA soldiers engage the enemy. Suzaku and Kallen went to get the remaining people into the VTOL transports immediately.

Jiyu jumps in killing lycans in her path and then reaches Anneliese as they clash together. Milly, Sayoko, and Daniel go Annika to attack as she swings around her spear to block their attack. Sayoko tries throwing kunai knives at her, but Anneliese uses her dark geass to stop throwing kunai knives and throws back at her. Sayoko quickly dodge away from throwing knives and she throws more kunai knives at her. Annika jumps back as kunai knives miss her. Milly goes up from behind as she raises her energy sword to strike her. Unfortunately, she fails to strike her as Annika turns around and blocks her attack. Daniel fired his gun at her. Annika dodge away and use her power to pull him in and throw him to Milly. They both get hit on the ground as they get up to continue fighting her. Jiyu keeps attacking her as Anneliese fights back.

Just then, Gawain is in the air firing a hadron cannon blasting down monsters from above. Anneliese saw that giant knightmare taking down her monsters so she pressed on the watch to activate something.

C2 is clearing out the monsters from the ground when suddenly a White Banshee appears, engaging her in fast speed.

C2: Oh crap!

She tries to raise Gawain's hand to fire finger slash harkens, but White Banshee makes it fast as she stabs at the torso with a sword pushing her in.

C2: H-How! How can a knightmare just fight me on its own without a pilot?

She questioned as she began attacking White Banshee with its fist. She hits White Banshee to the face very effectively.

Sayoko clashed with Annika in close quarters using her kunai knives as she jumped back. Milly and Daniel together strike her down. Anneleise blocks their attack, holding her life.

Sayoko began to engage her when she was being engaged by a pack of lycans. She is able to take down one of them, but they keep coming for her. So she has to retreat. She retreated to VTOL transport as ULA soldiers opened fire on them. Lelouch assisted them to fight off the monsters then he said to his foster mother.

Lelouch: Mom, you have to get out of here.

Sayoko: But-

Lelouch: Just go! I'll be fine.

He continued firing his gun at incoming lycan.

Lelouch: Protecting Nunnally is the only priority for our family. Please trust me.

He convinced his foster mother. Sayoko feels that she wants to stay with him to fight against the monsters. But protecting Nunnally is first priority so without hesitation she decided to go with Nunnally.

Sayoko: Okay. Just please come back with us.

Lelouch nodded as she entered the transport and it flew away from the academy. Suzaku and Kallen went to him after they evacuated people to the transports.

Kallen: Lelouch, everyone is evacuated.

Lelouch: Okay. Now we have to assist them. Taking those high ranking Nazi officers will losing the command of this operation.

Kallen: Right! I'll get my Guren ready.

She said as she ran to her knightmare. Suzaku was going to his Lancelot when someone contacted him on the earpiece.

Cornelia (on earpiece): W-W-Warrant Officer... Kururugi...

Suzaku: Y-Your Highness!

Cornelia (on earpiece): Come t-to g-g-government bureau.... Hurry...

He quickly nodded as he went to his knightmare. Lelouch stops him as he asks his best friend.

Lelouch: Where are you going, Suzaku?

Suzaku: Viceroy Cornelia has contacted me. It's very urgent.

Lelouch: I see... In that case, I'm coming with you.

No longer arguing with him, Suzaku accepted him to join in as they went to their knightmares. But then, they encounter Black Banshee in their way as it draws out the spear readying to kill them. But it was hit to the face by C2 piloting Gawain.

C2: I suppose that you're going somewhere with him.

Lelouch: C2!

C2: We don't have time. Come on.

Lelouch climbs on the Gawain to the cockpit as he takes a seat and takes control of it. Suzaku gets his Lancelot activated.

Daniel and Milly keep fighting Annika when he senses something like it's coming towards them from behind.

Daniel: Watch out!

He shouted as they both dodge away from Black Banshee's surprise attack. Black Banshee stopped moving as Annika climbed to the cockpit and took control of it.

Annika: Oh this is going to be fun!

She said as she laughed so hard. She raises plasma cannons aiming at them to fire. But she was interrupted when Gawain fired a hadron cannon at her. Fortunately for Annika, Black Banshee was protected by an energy shield. Lelouch contacts Daniel on the earpiece.

Lelouch (on earphone): Daniel, we got contacted from Cornelia. We are headed to the government bureau.

Daniel: Right! Just watch out there.

He said as Gawain and Lancelot flew away to the government bureau. Daniel grabs his device and presses a button to call his Liberator. Milly pressed his device too. Both Liberator and Athena go to their call as Milly and Daniel go embarking on their mechanized robots. They prepare themselves to fight against Black Banshee.

Jiyu fights Anneliese in close combat when White Banshee arrives for her. Anneliese embarked her Ritterstute quickly and raised her fist to smash her. Jiyu quickly jumps away from her attack as she pulls out a device to call her Masayoshi in. Masayoshi arrived as she embarked her Bellator and took control to fight her. She flies back away as she pulls out a katana blade and ready fighting stance.

Jiyu: Trying to kill me with your toy. That seems unfair, maybe you should wait for me to get in my robot before we could fight fair and square!

She shouted while raising katana to strike her down. But Anneliese was able to block it with her swords crossed together. They clash together as they fight each other a few times.

Liberator and Athena continued to fight Black Banshee. Athena attempts a jump attack with a radiation wave unit left-arm, but Black Banshee blocks and pushes to attack her. Athena got hit on the ground. Liberator fired plasma gun at her to destroy her energy shield. Black Banshee notices his plan, firing a plasma cannon at him. Liberator got hit, but he got lucky to have an energy shield as well. They both fall back to regroup and ready to engage her again.

Government Bureau

Gawain and Lancelot arrived in the government bureau or what's left on it. The entire building was damaged due to falling debris from earth's atmosphere. The Allied have evacuated everyone in the government bureau taking VTOL transports. Lelouch and Suzaku tried to find Cornelia when they saw the signal coming from on top of the government bureau so they flys up to reach there. When they reach the top, they dismount their knightmares to meet Cornelia. C2 just stayed in the cockpit for Lelouch to return. They find a wreckage of Cornelia's Gloucester in a sitting position with much damage and they see Cornelia injured, sitting on her knightmare against her back. They went to her seeing she was in critical condition from the fight when the falling debris came upon them.

Lelouch: Cornelia! Are you alright?

Cornelia coughing out as she looks at them in weak eyes.

Cornelia: W-W-We lost... This land, this nation, we failed to defend it and they have taken over. This wasn't a battlefield anymore, it's a slaughterhouse. Luckily, everyone here is evacuated. Lelouch, where's Patriot Knight?

Lelouch: Patriot Knight, Justitia, and Jiyu are engaging two high-ranking officers who are mentioned in the file that take part in the escape plan.

Cornelia: So they are here too, huh? *cough* It doesn't matter anyway. I have already got my sister and Mr. Taizo to evacuate. Guilford, Darlton and the Glaston Knights are still here engaging the remaining enemy forces on the ground... Lelouch, what about Nunnally?

Lelouch: She's safe now.

Cornelia: Good... That's what I need to hear.

Her eyes went to Suzaku as she said.

Cornelia: Warrant Officer Kururugi...

Suzaku: Y-Yes, your HIghness?

Cornelia: Come here.

Suzaku went closer to her as she asked him.

Cornelia: You have been by her side for a while and with that I can trust you to protect her.

She placed her two fingers like a sword on each of his shoulders doing an informal knighting ceremony.

Cornelia: This may be a little formal, but I'll make it quick... I dub thee Knight of Honor of Britannia... You are now officially a knight in both name and title.

Suzaku is surprised by her to give him both the name and title of a knight of Euphemia.

Suzaku: Thank you, your highness... I swear I will protect Euphemia with my life.

Cornelia: That's good to... hear...

She turns her face at her brother as she is saying to him.

Cornelia: Lelouch, I am very sorry for what happened to you and Nunnally... If there's any chance that I can make up to both of you...

He shook his head in response.

Lelouch: There's no need for it. You did tell me what happened to my mother and that's all I need to hear. And for that, I forgive you, my sister.

Hearing him forgive her makes her cry of joy and show a weak smile.

Cornelia: T-Thank you... Lelouch...

Then she fell unconscious due to injury.

Lelouch: Cornelia! Suzaku, help me carry her to my knightmare.

Suzaku: Right!

They both carry unconscious Cornelia to Gawain's cockpit. When they put her in there C2 just said to them.

C2: Heads up! I've got a lone aircraft headed here fast and it seems it carries one knightmare.

Lelouch: What? Who could've been?

...

Albrecht grabs the controllers as he prepares to leave the transport inside.

Albrecht: Reichmaster startbereit... Start!

As he said, Reichmaster stands up in four-legged mode as he jumps out of the transport, falling from the sky, and crashes into the ground and starts running towards the government bureau.

Onboard the Kenshin flagship

Kenshin got word from his officer that the leader of the Black Sun, Albrecht Dienerdestodes, has entered the battle with his new specialized knightmare model. He watched on the screen seeing his ally piloting a four-legged knightmare going towards the government bureau.

Kenshin: So my friend has come to the battlefield.

Sawazaki: Indeed... Your German friend has the guts to take part in the war. I wonder why he would come here when we are winning to take Japan.

Kenshin: For the same reason as I do.

He stood up from his chair and faced him.

Kenshin: I leave you here in charge of this ship.

Sawazaki: Wha- Where are you going?

Kenshin: I'm joining him on the battlefield.

Sawazaki: But-

Kenshin: I'm a warrior! Not some politician who can't do nothing but sit there and do nothing. Keep in mind, I'll show them that this emperor can fight like a true samurai warrior than other previous emperors before me.

He said as he headed to the hanger bay to join his ally to the battlefield to wipe out his enemy that stopped him establishing the empire. Meanwhile, Sawazaki just takes a seat and feels comfortable feeling like he's in charge now.

Sawazaki: Ahhh... I feel comfortable sitting here.

Annika maniacally laughs as she keeps attacking Masayoshi. Masayoshi blocks her attack and fires back with a High Power Gun (HPG). Black Banshee sees her attack as she dodge the bullets then someone fires slash harken at her right side, and she is forced to pull back. Guren MK2 came to assist her to defeat Black Banshee. She fired her weapon at her to take some damage. She went Masayoshi to her side as she said to Jiyu.

Kallen: Sorry for taking too long to arrive. I hope I didn't come late.

Jiyu: Nope. It's just only begun, you girl. Let's fight that bitch together, shall we?

Kallen: Gladly.

She showed a confident expression on her face. They both engaged Black Banshee in combat.

Meanwhile, Athena and Liberator continuously fight White Banshee as she fires plasma cannons at them, but she misses as they both go separate to dodge plasma bullets.

Anneliese: You pest! Stay still so I can shoot you!

She feels annoyed as they keep dodging her plasma. The two heroes go straight to her when Saxony comes out of nowhere to surprise and attack Liberator on his right side. Liberator was able to predict his move as he blocked his swords with Washington Fury.

Biohringer: I will take you down! For Black Sun!

Daniel: Damn it! Really?!

He pushes him away as he falls back to regroup with Milly.

Daniel: So he's here too. This is gonna be complicated to deal with.

Milly: Don't give up! We can still beat them.

She said confidently. Biohringer goes beside White Banshee seeing him arrive is the best opportunity for Anneliese to take them both down.

Anneliese: Ah, Biohringer, nice to see you again.

Biohringer: I was assisting my troops to eliminate the remaining enemy forces that survived the impact of the UNSA ship that our Fuhrer ordered to destroy it.

Anneliese: Sounds reasonable. Now then, let's continue fighting, shall we?

Both Nazi high-ranking officers ready themselves for a fight. Daniel and Milly are ready to fight them. They both clash with each other as the battle rages on.

Masayoshi and Guren continued fighting Black Banshee as they tried to defeat her. Guren goes on a special attack with her right-arm radiation wave unit to pierce through her. Unfortunately for her, Annika predicts her attack so she aims at her right arm and fires at Guren's right-arm in one blast, destroying a right-arm radiation wave unit. Kallen felt the force push her as the right-arm was destroyed.

Kallen: AHH!

Jiyu: Q1!

Annika: That's more like it. Now time for that piece of junk to be scrapped!

She goes toward her in speed as she grabs Guren's neck with her right hand. Black Banshee gazing at a motionless knightmare. Annika scoffed as she threw her down and fired plasma cannon at her. Guren got hit so critical she crashed on the ground on impact.

Jiyu: Kallen!

She goes to the ground to see if she's okay. She moves damaged Guren up, removing the hatch cockpit carefully and grabs unconscious injured Kallen on the palm of her mechanized robot hand.

Jiyu: Kallen...

Annika: Where did you think you're doing?

She quickly turns around and moves away as Black Banshee falls down on Guren position which she destroys with her feet. She brings out a large size spear as Masayoshi puts Kallen inside the room in Ashford Academy and draws out her katana blade in a fighting stance. In a few moments, they engage each other in combat.

Liberator is blocking Saxony's attacks with her sharped bladed sword. Athena tries to reach her left-arm radiation wave unit towards White Banshee until she quickly moves aside and grabs her arm. Athena tries to release the grip, but White Banshee is so strong she won't budge to release.

Anneliese: Ah, ah, ah... Big mistake.

She said as she crushed it with her bare hand. Athena lost her left-arm radiation wave unit.

Milly: No!

She was shockingly screaming. Then White Banshee kicks her to the ground. Athena crashed on impact leaving some of the damage. Liberator swings Washington Fury at Saxony when he turns around and sees Athena damaged on the ground.

Daniel: Milly!

But he got so distracted Saxony swung his sword hard to push him towards the ground. Liberator got up and went to protect her with his firearm pointing at them. Both Nazis were about to engage him when they got contacted by their leader as he said.

Albrecht (radio): This is the order from your Fuhrer.

Anneliese: The Fuhrer...

Albrecht (radio): Order to retreat. Reorganize the troops immediately.

Anneliese: What?! But – I – We...

Biohringer: Don't defy the order of the Fuhrer! As the Fuhrer told, Obergruppenherr Anneliese.

Anneliese was angry, clenching her teeth that she wanted to continue fighting them to the death, and the Fuhrer just ruined her fun. But she complied the Fuhrer's order anyway so she contacted her sister

Anneliese: Hey! We're leaving this place.

Annika: What!? But why...!

Anneliese: Because the Fuhrer says so. Now come on!

Annika was angry, but accepted the Fuhrer's order. She pushes Masayoshi away and flies with them. The three Nazis flee from the Ashford Academy as Anneliese gives final words to them.

Anneliese: This ain't over, American! My Fuhrer is here and he will destroy you all!

And just like that, they left the academy. Liberator opens the hatch door as Daniel goes to Athena's wreckage to see if she's okay. Milly opens the cockpit coughing out from the attack she received. She looked at her boyfriend headed toward her.

Milly: Daniel! Why are they retreating?

Daniel: I don't know. But I have a bad feeling that they said the Fuhrer is here.

Milly: What! He's here!

She said shockingly with her eyes widened.

Daniel: Yeah. I don't know why he's here or what the reason is. But one thing to understand is that he's likely wanted to join the fight.

The Glaston Knights led by Darlton and Gilbert keep fighting off the large army of Ryukyu forces targeting the evacuation point. The evacuation is almost finished as VTOL transports flies away from Tokyo Settlement. Gilbert approached Darlton as he said.

Gilbert: Darlton, the evacuation is complete.

Darlton: Good. Once we are done here, we find and get Princess Cornelia out of here. I couldn't contact her 3 minutes ago, probably because she is injured.

Gilbert: Then I'll go and get her-

But then, he was interrupted by David Darlton on the radio.

David (on radio): Incoming enemy knightmare! But this one is faster than other knightmares we encounter.

Darlton: Hold your position. If it is an elite, engage it.

David (on radio): Roger!

They are all getting their positions ready to fight the incoming enemy knightmare. As they wait for its arrival, the Reichmeister makes an appearance by jumping towards them in surprise attack. Reichmaster goes toward Edgar Darlton, slicing him in half and it is quickly destroyed.

Alfred: Edgar! No!

He shouted to his fallen brother. Everyone caught off guard of Reichmaster's surprise attack. Darlton saw Edgar get killed by Reichmeister and was feeling angry as he clenched it on controller sticks and he just said.

Darlton: Attack! Whoever it is, it must be destroyed! Glaston Knights, engage!

Glaston Knights: Right!

They're all going straight to him to attack. Gilbert is about to join in when Darlton stops him.

Darlton: No. You have to be with Princess Cornelia.

Gilbert: But Darlton-

Darlton: As a knight, you must protect her at all cost. We can't let something happen to her. Now go!

He said as he moved straight forward to the Reichmeister. Gilbert wanted to fight that knightmare with Darlton and Glaston Knights. But Darlton calling him a knight makes him think that he should protect her and her sister for their safety. So without hesitation, he turned around and headed to find Cornelia.

Darlton and his Glaston Knights go to attack the Reichmaster. Albrecht was amusing to see them going to attack him all at once. He moved his Reichmeister forward to engage them. He goes to Bart Darlton first. He draws out an energy sword and slices him in half, destroying him. Then he goes on Alfred and David trying to defeat him. But unfortunately for them, they too got destroyed by the Reichmeister at such speed. Claudio is the last Glaston Knights and he's with his father to attack him and then suddenly an unknown enemy appears out of nowhere as he comes down from the sky. A knightmare larger than any knightmares with horns on the head. 

That knightmare was Goryo, and the one piloting it was Emperor Kenshin Sakurai himself. He is beside the Reichmeister as together they are going to destroy them.

Both Darlton and Claudio are shocked to see him appear during their fight and it looks like it allies with the four-legged knightmare.

Claudio: F-F-Father... What are we going to do?

Darlton: I see that there's no way to defeat them. We have to retreat.

Claudio: Right! Let's get out of here.

He was going to turn around and retreat when Goryo pulled out an energy katana and sliced him in half,blowing a knightmare into pieces.

Darlton: NOOO!!!

Seeing his son was killed before his eyes, he was filled with anger and went straight towards them to attack in rage.

Darlton: Die, you monster!

He raises a jouster to stab one of them. Unfortunately, it didn't last when Goryo quickly sliced him into pieces and it exploded, killing Darlton. After that, his ally just said to him very genuinely.

Albrecht: Your Majesty, I see you have made your known knightmare model and pretty good skill to destroy them.

Kenshin: Thank you for the compliment. When you arrived here with your new knightmare model, I was expecting that you would come to see yourself in combat so I decided to join in.

Albrecht: Well, it will be much quicker if we make this war end quickly and you'll have your Japan as you desire.

Kenshin nodded his ally and they both went off to roam around the field to find and destroy their enemy.

Daniel: So they're here...

Jiyu carrying injured Kallen on her shoulder walking towards them.

Jiyu: Please tell me we are losing a chance to stop them.

Daniel: I'm afraid so...

Milly: This is not good. Both of our Bellators were wrecked! What are we going to do now?

Daniel, looking everything goes down and failing to stop them from taking over Japan, there's only one thing he has to do. But he cannot bring them to him in the fight. He fears that they won't survive to face them so he decides what he has to do to protect them.

Daniel: Milly, Aiwi, follow me.

He said as he walked straight inside the academy. Both girls look confused before they decide to follow him. They lead to his room where he is packing up things so it won't fall into the wrong hands. Aiwi, after removing her hood and mask, placed Kallen against the wall outside the room and went in there. Daniel poured a whiskey in two glasses and he added Zaleplon on MIlly's glass hoping it would put her to sleep. His girlfriend asked him a question.

Milly: Daniel? What is that?

Daniel: Hm? Oh, this is whiskey. One of the finest alcoholic drinks in America. For generations, my people, my family, would always drink whiskey for those going on long adventures or risky adventures. It also takes away stress. You and I should drink together as couples so we can go out there and take them down together. So let's drink it before we go and stop them. So cheers.

Milly: Cheers.

Aiwi: Uh... Daniel? What about me?

He ignores her as they both drink the glass of whiskey. Milly feel suddenly dizzy as her vision started to blur and she almost fell on the floor, thanks to Daniel grabbing her on his arm.

Aiwi: H-Hey! What happened to her!

Daniel: Aiwi...

He looked at her in a serious expression as he said.

Daniel: I've already contacted LT. Gen. Goro to pick you three to Hokkaido to escape this universe to mine. They will be here shortly.

Aiwi: What? What do you mean?

Then her eyes widened realizing what he was planning to do.

Aiwi: No... no... Daniel, no!

Daniel: I have to! I'll buy you some time to evacuate before they find out where the evacuation is located. I cannot let them happen.

Aiwi: But Daniel, you alone will face the army of Black Sun and Imperialist. It is suicide!

Daniel: Of course, it is suicide! Do you think I'm dumb enough to seen it!

He shouted as Aiwi was frightened by his outburst. He deeply sighs, placing his fingers on his temple.

Daniel: Look, I understand how risky I am going to face them alone. But I'm not going to watch and see you two die in my watch. I'm getting you three out of here.

Her tears form in her eyes as she starts to cry.

Aiwi: But Daniel... If you stay and get killed, who will lead the ULA? What about your parents? What about your girlfriend?

She whimpered as she kept crying. Tears flowing down on the cheek.

Daniel: Aiwi, come here.

He grabs her and moves his arm around to hug her. He calms her down, assuring that it will be alright. He wiped her tears away and told her.

Daniel: I know that I may or may not survive the fight. But I must protect everyone to have a chance to escape from them. I will do anything to protect the weak and innocent from brutal war and atrocities. I will always protect my friends, my comrades, and my family. I have to make a sacrifice, Aiwi. You know that, right.

She sniffles as she gives him a nod. He gave her a stroke on top of her hair.

Daniel: Hey, I remember that your parents died in the Second Pacific War and you don't have relatives to stay with. Am I right?

Aiwi: *sniffle* Um yes?

Daniel: Well, it's your lucky day because I talked to my parents about it and they agreed to welcome you to our family.

She looked up at him with her eyes widened, surprised by his words about her getting adopted by his parents.

Aiwi: Y-You did. But why?

Daniel: Because I have a friend who lost his parents in a car accident and he is alone. I always comfort him to ease the pain then we found a foster parent to take him under their care and they love him like their own. You are the same thing as him and I would decide to adopt you in our care so you won't be alone forever in your life.

He said smiling to her. She makes more tears, but it is not sadness, it is happiness that someone like him adopting her to his family care that something she never had a happy life since her family were killed in Britannian invasion in Japan. She had a rough life under the Britannian Area colony to survive from Britannians that ruined her life. But now, she has a chance to start a new life in Daniel's family. She embraced him once more tightly.

Aiwi: I... I... Thank you. Thank you for giving me a new chance to have a happy life.

Daniel: You're welcome. So now you can call me brother now.

She chuckles. But her expression changed from happiness to sadness that he is going to stay here to fight them.

Aiwi: I-I-I can't. I can't let you...

Daniel: Aiwi, please listen to me. When Milly wakes up, I want you to stop her from getting off the transport and when it is over you will tell her to be appointed as the new leader. I want you to do it.

Aiwi: No, please...

Daniel: Aiwi, please do it for me.

He said in a soft voice. Aiwi feels to calm down and dry her tears. She shows a weak determination to him as she said.

Aiwi: Okay. I understand.

Daniel: Good.

Timeskip

Daniel and Aiwi carry Milly and Kallen to VTOL transport that have arrived in time. Aiwi is taking both of them inside the transport and looking at him as he is giving her a salute, and she did it the same. A VTOL transport closes the door and flies away from here. Daniel looks at the transport flies away before he turns around and wears a helmet to enter his Liberator, starting to go after them.

Daniel: Let's go.

VTOL Transport

Milly starts to wake up seeing she is not in Daniel's dorm room instead she is inside the VTOL transport. She looks around to see Kallen is lying on a stretcher still unconscious. There were four ULA soldiers inside the transport. She turned her head to see Aiwi sitting beside her with her head down staring at the floor. She asked her.

Milly: Aiwi, where am I?

Aiwi: You are in VTOL transport. The ULA will take us to Hokkaido where they have a dimensional portal gateway leading to his universe.

She said, not looking at her face.

Milly: Aiwi... Where is he? Where is Daniel?

Aiwi didn't answer her so she asked her again.

Milly: Aiwi, please tell me. Where is Daniel? Where is he?

She didn't answer her again. So this time, she was shouting at her.

Milly: AIWI! WHERE IS-

Aiwi: HE'S STAY BEHIND!

She shouted back. Milly was shocked as her eyes widened of her boyfriend just staying behind.

Milly: W-W-What?

Aiwi: I said he's staying behind. He drugged you with that drink to put you asleep. We carry you two here and we will be the ones to leave this universe. He did it because he doesn't want us to die so he'll be the one to deal with them.

She said in a cold expression. Milly started to form the tears from her eyes as it flowed down her cheek, starting to worry about him.

Milly: No... no...

She stands up and goes out of the transport as he shouted.

Milly: DANIEL!!!

Aiwi quickly stops her by grabbing her arms behind to lock it. Milly started to struggle to escape from Aiwi's grasp.

Milly: LET GO OF ME! AIWI, LET ME GO!

Aiwi: NO! HE WANTED US TO BE SAFE! HE SACRIFICE HIMSELF TO BUY US SOME TIME TO ESCAPE!

Milly: NO! I WILL NOT, I WILL NOT LET HIM GET KILLED! TURN THIS THING AROUND NOW!

Aiwi: NO!

Milly then hits her belly with her elbow as Aiwi backs down and feels hurt on her belly. The ULA soldiers went to stop her, but Aiwi ordered them to stop and let her handle it. Aiwi tackles her on the ground and holds her down. Milly furiously struggled to escape with tears flowing on her cheek still wanting to save her lover.

MIlly: LET ME GO! JUST LET ME GO!

Aiwi: NO! IT'S ALREADY TOO LATE!

Milly: NO, IT'S NOT! IT'S NOT TOO LATE! I CAN'T LET HIM DIE!

She struggles to escape her grasp as Aiwi keeps holding her down. Her tears flowed down as she wanted to save him too, but she kept his promise not to come back to him, even though it hurt her so much. As she is trying to escape, she lets out a loud voice calling out his name in tears.

Milly: DANIEL!!!
