Chapter3, The Gang and Its Drama

{Third Person POV}

Akuya had taken his scooter and left the house. He was riding along the roads to the inner outskirts of the city, where some of the nobles lived. Soon enough the gates of the higher class community were in his sights. But upon nearing the gate he crashed into someone on a hover board. The other person fell of his board and landed on his face while Akuya was lucky enough to land on his butt.

"Ooww...." both boys groaned in pain. The impact of the crash was clearly painful for the two.

Akuya looked at the other boy, who was laying face down on the floor. He wore a light grey hoodie, a wolf light grey hoodie.
Great I crashed into some furry. Akuya mentally face palmed.

Just then the other boy's head raised and fluffy light green hair could be seen. "Holy shit! Tyler are you okay?!" Akuya exclaimed, realizing that the boy was none other than his ADHD best friend.

"Yeah I'm fine." Tyler replied while standing up and rubbing his bruised face. "You okay?"he questioned. "I've got a bruised ass but other than that I'm fine." Akuya  explained while getting up and dusting off invisible dirt from his clothes.
"Okay first of all," He began, "Why the heck were you boarding so fast!?"
The taller boy sighed. "Some assholes from Conwei Prep we're trying to through mud at me."
"That... alright that makes sense." The smaller replied. The taller male had minor OCD so it was natural for him to avoid getting dirty.

Splat!

"HOLY FUCK!" Tyler shrieked, his crimson eyes widening.
A balloon filled with mud was thrown and had barely missed him.

"Oh shit." Akuya muttered his breath and quickly grabbed his scooter his scooter.

Just then a barrage of mud filled balloons were thrown at the boys. They scrambled to get on their respective crafts and got away as quickly as they could.
As soon as they got through the gates the balloons were no longer being thrown.

"Those fucking prep students think they're so great." Tyler grumbled.
"Dude, shut up and just be glad we weren't hit." Akuya stated.
"Fine." The taller mumbled.

After a short while of Tyler shouting profanities while complaining about how unclean everything at his place was, the two boys had reached their destination.
Feng Manor.

The two boys walked up to the gates of the lavish building. "So who's gonna ring the bell?" Tyler asked, scratching the back of his neck nervously.
"Not it!" Akuya exclaimed quickly.
"Huh!?" Tyler didn't expect the shorter to be so reluctant. "Don't blame me dude, her mom scares me." The smaller said with a shiver.

The furry boy sighed, he too was scared of the Lady of the Feng's, she was very intimidating. Tyler cautiously rang the bell, silently praying that someone else would come to open the gate.

To their relief instead of the Lady of the house, a tall and slender Asian looking male came out of the house.
The two let out a breathe they didn't know they were holding. Tyler greeted the tall male with a mere nod when he arrived at the gate. Morning Timothy." Akuya greeted with an awkward smile. Said boy nodded his head as response while he opened the gate.

"It's nice to see you again." Timothy said, moving some of his black hair out of his face. The two boys entered through the gates. "My sister is in the garden." The boy stated, ushering the younger boys to the back of the extremely large estate.

There the boys were met with a marvelous garden, a large one in fact. It was littered with numerous variations of vivid flowers holding bright, vibrant colors and with quite a few trees present. In the far back of the estate was a reasonably sized pond with a modest gazebo situated in the center which was accessible thanks to a bridge, though a small but tall and confusing maze stood between the two sections of the garden. Despite all the intricacies of the garden it still managed to be breathtaking.
"I'll never get old of seeing this place." Tyler gaped. "Mhm." The emerald eyed boy hummed in agreement.

"So where are our sisters?" Tyler questioned the older boy. "They're at the gazebo, Sherlock." Timothy mused.
"Who?" The furry boy tilted his head in confusion. Timothy rolled his eyes. "Never mind Furry."
"Don't feed his fantasies." The forgotten navy haired boy snapped.
"Wait, you mean we have to go through the maze?" Tyler realized.
Timothy nodded.
"Can you help?" Akuya questioned.
The older boy shrugged and answered "The two of you ain't my problem." He stated walking away.
"Wow real helpful!" Tyler shouted, sarcasm lacing every word.
Timothy was already a distance away so he could not hear the remark.

"He's so mean, nothing like Princess." Tyler muttered with a pout. "Let's just get this over with." The smaller boy sighed.

The two boys entered the maze and soon enough they were lost. "We've been here three times!" The smaller yelled in frustration. "For fuck's sake how do we get out of here!" The hooded male exclaimed, plopping himself on the ground.

"Millie is an ass for leaving me!" Tyler groaned.
The boys conversed for a short while then continued with their quest to escape the maze.

"Well fuck." Tyler groaned. "You're kidding right?" The boys were quite annoyed, they had just found the exit. "We literally passed here five times." Akuya stated tiredly.
"Everything is worth it for princess." The two boys said with smiles.

"Alrighty, let's go." The taller male commanded taking a step out of the maze, Akuya following behind.

"Avocado!" A cute voice exclaimed.
A little brunette girl wearing a red flannel dress ran up to Tyler, giving him a hug.
Said boy picked up the girl and trapped her in a bear hug.
"Aww, Princess you're just so cute." He cooed. "Cmon Avocado I'm not a baby." The girl giggled with a smile.
"Hey, Don't I get a hug to." Akuya complained with a pout.
The brunette let out a little laugh and stretched over to the boy, who eagerly took her and brought her into a hug.

"I thought you were at the gazebo princess." Tyler said. "No, Millie was helping me water my hyacinths." The girl stated, while she broke out of Akuya's hug.

She motioned towards a small patch of purple hyacinths that were growing by the maze which was being watered by a girl with tanned skin. She wore a black cap that sat neatly on her light green hair which was tied into a messy ponytail. She looked over to the three with her crimson eye ands gave a smile. She walked over to them making her outfit more visible. She wore a black crop top with a white varsity jacket, faded blue shorts and black combat boots quite similar to the ones Akuya wore.

"Glad to see you made it Akuya, li'l bro." She greeted.
"Yeah thanks for waiting for me sis." Tyler responded to his twin. Akuya sighed at the sarcastic remark.
"Will you two ever get along?" The brunette asked.
"Don't worry Isabella, we get along." The Millie stated, smiling at the short girl.
The statement seemed to please the young girl making her smile.

"We should go to the gazebo. All the familiars are there." Isabella suggested. "Last one their cleans the hideout!" She shouted, running towards the gazebo.

The other three ran after the giggling girl but failed to beat her to the gazebo.

"Looks like you're on cleaning duty." Millie told her twin. The older three were tired from running, but the brunette seemed to have boundless amount of energy since she was still running and talking to each of the familiars.

"Have any of you seen Kaine?" She asked, referring to her familiar.
"Haven't seen him." A vibrant blue-green peacock responded. He spread his feathers and motioned towards a small fluffy white alpaca. "Shiro might know." He stated. "Thanks, Corey." The brunette ran over to Shiro and repeated her question.

"Yeah I have. He left to go to the hideout." Shiro responded. Isabella thanked the familiar and ran back over to her friends who were sitting at a table with a chess board on it. She took her seat between the twins and set up the board.

"You're really good at that." Akuya complimented.
"I know. I'm really thankful for this board." Isabella said giving a smile to Millie who nodded in return. "And this is only one of the amazing presents I've gotten my princess for her birthday." She boasted making the two boys groan.
"What did you get her?" Millie asked the boys.
The two looked at each other, neither of them had decided on a present yet.

"We have the best gift for her." Tyler lied. "Yeah..." Akuya agreed.
"All right then." Millie scoffed doubtfully, her eyes drifting to the brunette who seemed to be playing a game of chess.  She was so focused on her game that she hadn't been paying attention to the conversation.
She lost a knight and she pouted.
Cute. A smile found its way onto Millie's face.

"How's the game?" The avocado haired girl asked. Isabella jumped at the voice and turned to the girl, an inquisitive look plastered on her face.
Millie let out a small laugh and the two boys just smiled. "I asked about the game." She said.
"O-oh." The brunette thought for a second. "It's going south for me," she admitted, "I'm actually about to surrender." As she said, laying her king, the black king, down on its side.

"So what are the plans for today?" Akuya spoke up. Tyler shrugged not sure himself, his twin looking to the brunette for an answer.
"Well?" The older three questioned the little Feng.

"The hideout?" Isabella suggested, though it sounded more like a question.
At the mention of the children's hideout the fluffy white alpaca ran over to the table.
"We're going to the hideout!" He exclaimed excitedly.
"I suppose we are." Millie responded to her familiar.

Isabella let out a sigh and relaxed, she was glad to hear that the others agreed with her suggestion.
"I still have to ask my mom though." She said, her voice shaky.

"Ask me what?"
Everyone froze. No one had even heard the sound of the woman's heels over all the chatter.
"Answer me!" The woman demanded. The brunette let out a scared yelp as her mother pulled her out of her seat by her arm.

"Lady Feng, please let go of the young miss." Millie demanded, trying to suppress her anger.
"Not until this brat speaks up." She shot back, gripping tighter at Isabella's arm causing the girl to whimper.

Lady Feng, the brunette's mother, had straight dark hair that fell above her waist and a pale complexion, her black dress hugged her figure tightly and her shiny black heels glistened in the morning light.

Akuya didn't know what else to do than to hold onto his best friend's arm and pray that nothing bad happens while Tyler tries to keep his mouth closed as to not disrespect the lady of the house.

When the little Feng didn't speak up her mother dug her acrylic nails into the girls arm. The brunette let out a pained whimper as tears swelled up in her eyes.
"Madam stop." Millie panicked.

"Stop!"
The madam looked to Akuya, everyone else doing the same.
Lady Feng glared at the boy. "What did you say brat?"
Shivers went down his spine, he wanted nothing more than to cower behind Tyler again but he couldn't. He hated seeing his friends get hurt.

"I said stop." He repeated boldly.
The madam gave the boy a smirk and pushed her daughter, though the emerald eyed boy caught her before she could hit the ground.

"You got balls freckles." The madam "complimented" Akuya but he just glared at her. Probably because of the nickname.

"You can go to your little club house, just get out of here quickly." The brunette's mother said before walking back across the bridge.

"She knew all the fucking time." Tyler grumbled, clearly annoyed by what just happened.
I'm
"Let's just go." Isabella sighed, picking up her stuff and putting it in a checkered backpack that was at her seat.
Tyler called his familiar. "Cmon Corey."

And thus they all left the estate.

A/N: Finally updated. •_•
To clarify in this book the prep school is in British terms which means the students are from the ages of 7-13, though the ones throwing the mud were 12 and 13 the same ages as Akuya and Tyler.
Any critique is helpful. And once again thanks for reading.
