News reporter (on TV): Atsushi Sawasaki, leader of the forces that have occupied the Fukuoka military base, was Chief Cabinet Minister of the Kururugi Adminstration in the former nation of Japan. After the war, he fled to the Chinese Federation, but is apparently making his move now by attacking JDA military base and occupy Kyushu. In the response, Kyushu made up a resistance group to fight against Chinese troops appearing in the town. Atsushi Sawasaki claims that he's come to liberating the Japan from the former glory. Whether it's true or not, the USJ administration member are on the meeting.

The members of the Black knights, especially Zero, Kallen, and the others watching on the news and they are not happy about it. Tamaki make a comment.

Tamaki: We're already liberated, goddamnit!

Ohgi: I have spoke Taizo and the others from the meeting. We have no idea of what he was thinking about attacking one of JDA military base.

Diethard: For what I know, he has something with sakuradite rights. But with the help of Chinese Federation, it could lead to Japan civil war soon.

Kallen: Zero, what shall we do?

Zero: I'm still thinking about this decision. In the meantime, we have to be prepare for the worst.

Suzaku: Then what are we going to do?

Laila la Britannia, daughter of Gabrielle la Britannia and a sister of Clovis la Britannia, was sitting on the bed feeling saddened after Lelouch reveal to be Zero and shown that her brother committed crime by ordering to massacre the Japanese in the ghetto. Like Euphemia and Nunnally, she cares to family, especially to the strangers. But seeing her brother committed such a sin, she can't bear of what her family become. Her maid, Martha, came to the room to bring food since she don't want to leave her room.

Martha: Your highness, you should eat your food. You haven't ate it for a while.

She stay silent, never responds to her. Martha puts down the food on the table and leaves the room when she called out her name.

Laila: Martha.

She stopped as she hear her calling by her name. Laila said to her.

Laila: I have important task for you.

Martha: Yes? What is it?

Laila: Take my money that I was saving, go to the dock, buy a boat, and prepare to department for tonight.

Martha: Tonight? Why, your highness?

Laila: Because I'm leaving this country.

Martha was deeply shocked that she's going to defect her country. She tried to reasoning to her.

Martha: But why?

Laila: Because... The emperor is responsible for sending Lelouch and Nunnally to exile in the first place. Euphemia was there too. I want to be there. I want to see them again.

Martha: But, your highness...

Zero and the others are having the meeting and Henry on the screen is attending as well.

Kallen: That seems a good idea.

C.C: The GDI has a strength to take down the enemy anyway.

Kaguya: Ultimately, we'll put the end of Sawazaki reign for good.

Zero: I shall join with you. The people wanted to see Black Knights and GDI work together as one to defeat them. It makes it easy since yours has military strength.

After the conversation, Zero and C.C went to the room while the rest of the others went back to work. In the room, Lelouch removes his helmet and place it on the table. C.C said to him.

C.C: So... are you really going to join force with them?

Lelouch: The people wanted miracle made by Zero then I shall give them.

C.C: You really are a naive, you know that?

Lelouch: Shut it, witch. The Britannia has crumbling down and my father has nothing to do since the rebellion within the homeland ignite the civil war. The people has see my miracle and they admire of the Black Knights. If he loses the power, he will force to flee somewhere safe and I'll be there to end his life.

Tonight, outskirt of Kyushu

While some of Sawazaki forces busying against Kyushu resistance figthers, Kodiak battlecruiser II is on the air headed to the base to retake it from Minister Sawazaki and Gen. Cao. Llyod, Cecile, Suzaku, and Goro are on the ship ready themselves to engage the battle. As they're headed there, the alarm went off and they're engaging the battle.

EVA: Waring: Incoming missiles. 1 minute, 5 seconds to impact.

Llyod: Not bad! They're well-prepared against air raids as well.

Suzaku and Goro readying their knightmares at the hangar bay. Suzaku contact Cecile on the comms.

Suzaku: Are we sending up a barrage?

Cecile (comms): We'll be fine in this position.

The multiple missiles directly hit at Kodiak battlecruiser II. But it wasn't effective as the shield is so strong to protecting the ship.

Llyod: You can do better than that to take down GDI most protected shield.

Sawazaki and Gen. Cao are shocked that it didn't work to destroy the kodiak ship.

Sawazaki: Goddamn it!

Cao: Seems like we're underestimating the power of GDI.

Sawazaki: Still, it doesn't mean I can't stop what I just begun. Sent entire forces to bring down that ship!

Chinese personnel: But sir! The enemy has sent out two aircrafts headed this way.

Cecile (comms): Lancelot using jet engines and Dark Lancelot using energy wings ready to be launched.

Suzaku & Goro: Right!

They both launched themselves to outside the hangar of kodiak battlecruiser II and goes flying towards the enemy base.

Chinese personnel 1: Two aircrafts headed this way, but it's moving faster than fighter planes.

Chinese personnel 2: I have picture!

The screen shows two flying knightmares headed this way causing everyone to shocked for seeing them on the screen.

Sawazaki: Two knightmares!?

Cao: It's not being transported; it's just flying on its own.

Sawazaki: That white knightmare, that weapons report we got, could this be it?!

Cao: You mean that novelty weapon?!

Sawazaki: But then, the pilot is...

Fuokuoka Base

Two Chinese soldiers are guarding the gate when they both got shot by none other than Jager. Delta Eagle Force arrives without using knightmares came to sneak in and take down the enemy supplies. Simmons launches to the other side of the gate to open for them. They enter an enemy territory as they silently take out the guards. Tanya goes to gun-ru to blown up and went to the next one. Spectre gunned down few of chinese soldiers spotted on sight. Michael reaches to the structure where they keep the gun-rus so he blows up the building and destroying the knightmares.

Michael: Too easy!

Chinese personnel: Sir! The enemy has destroyed the knightmares inside each structures.

Cao: What! They infiltrated this base?! That's impossible!

Sawazaki: Go out there and kill them!

Llyod: The military force that's trying to occupy the Kyushu block is fighting under ex-Minister Atsushi Sawazaki. If they lose him, his new Japan government will collapse very quickly. In that case, the Chinese Federation will lose their excuse for being here and have to withdraw.

The Chinese air force comes to the sky as they shoots rockets at them. Both knightmares used factsphere sensors and dodge the rockets. Dark Lancelot slashes through enemy VTOL gunships while Lancelot do a same. They reaching to Kyushu when a surprising Chinese VTOL gunship appears and open fire at them. Luckily, they're installed the shields so they block the bullets and Lancelot take it down. Then, he got a receive transmission from the channel.

Suzaku: Huh? The open channel.

The channel shows Minister Sawazaki on the screen as he said.

Sawazaki (on screen): This is Minister Sawasaki. Is that Prime Minister Kururugi's son in the pilot seat?

Suzaku was surprised he knows he is a son of Prime Minister Genbu Kururugi.

Sawazaki (on screen): I see... I didn't know he had a son.

Britannian dock

Laila was wearing a casual clothes and a dark hood to cover herself from everyone who recognized her. She was escorted by her maid as they got to the
boat. Captain was there waiting for them to arrive in time.

Martha: Is everything ready?

Captain: Yes, miss. Ready by your order, your highness.

Laila went on the boat. Martha just said to her.

Martha: Your Hig- I mean, Laila. Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?

Laila: You did everything for me and my family for so long, Martha. Now it's time for a change. You can go back to your family and help them. You are my only friend I have met.

Martha smiled to meet a friend who is a princess and then she said.

Martha: It is an honor to be your side. I wish you farewell.

Laila: As do I.

But then, they heard someone's coming this way as they turn around to see a group of men wearing OSI uniform. The one who leading then is a man named Baron Karthage. He rides on the knightmare as he get out a cockpit and said to them.

Baron: Princess Laila la Britannia, please come back and there won't be trouble.

Martha: How dare you speak to her like that! She is a princess of-

Baron: We know that, commoner. As for that, it was directly order by your father, His Majesty.

Laila and Martha are shocked that they were being discovered by the emperor and he sent his personal troops to stop them. Laila took off the hood and shouted.

Laila: No! I will not go back for what the emperor done!

Baron (thoughts): You spineless little brat.

Baron: I see... Then I am sorry but if you're not come back here in any minute, we'll open fire upon you. It was also ordered by His Majesty as well.

Laila: W-What.

Her eyes wide open that her own father's men are gonna to kill her if she refused to come back. But then, Martha stepped in to defend her.

Martha: I will not allow you to touch her! Men, attack!

OSI soldier: What?

Then suddenly, they were ambushed by BRF rebels as they killed small numbers of them, the OSI retaliate the attack. Martha draws out his pistol to take out two incoming OSI soldiers that went after her. She look at Laila as she said.

Martha: Laila, you must go!

Laila: You... you're part of BRF?

Martha: I'm sorry for keeping secret from you, your highness. I'm only doing this to protect you with all my life.

Laila: Martha...

She look right at the captain and shouted.

Martha: Captain, take her to safety!

Captain: Yes, miss! Buck it up, kiddo. We're leaving.

The boat engine starting up as it's moving away from the dock. Laila shouted in tears on her eyes.

Laila: Martha! No!

Martha: You must live, Laila! Live!

She shouted as she continues fighting against OSI soldiers. Laila can hold her tears as she went to get to the boat. Martha and her BRF rebels continue fighting against OSI when Baron is aiming the gun at the boat so she grabbed an RPG and shoots at the gun. Baron knightmare was caught surprise from Martha destroying his gun. Baron turns around that she's the one destroying his gun.

Baron: That bitch. Kill them!

He ordered his men to kill them. One by one, the BRF rebels were gunned and they are outnumbered. Martha is the last survivor as she shooting them until she got shot multiple times by OSI soldiers. She fell on the ground, coughing blood on her mouth. Baron gets out the knightmare and went to approach her. He said to her dying on the ground.

Baron: Tell me where is she headed at?

Martha response him by spitting a blood on his face. Baron wiped it off and ended her life by shooting to the head. After that, he look at the boat fleeing away, but it's not far enough. He jumps in the knightmare and get a bazooka to shoot down a boat, killing Laila inside there. Once it is over, the OSI cleanup crew burn the bodies to get rid of the evidence preventing from other royal family discovery the death of Laila la Britannia. A corporal said to Baron.

OSI corporal: So sir, how do we explain to the imperial family?

Baron: Let His Majesty handle them. I'll report it to His Majesty that Princess Laila la Britannia has refused to come and we killed her as ordered.

OSI corporal: Yes, my lord.

Unknown to them, Laila was survived as she was on the lifeboat and she has a limited food and drink to survive for each days. She was crying because of her friend sacrifice herself to hold them off while trying to escape. She continues on as she's headed west where there will be GDI fleet stationed there.

Lancelot and Dark Lancelot landed on the enemy base. Sawazaki said on the screen.

Sawazaki (screen): Are you going to let the puppet leader enslaved our own people?

Suzaku: No! You make it a mistake, Sawazaki. Japan has already liberated.

Goro: And you, sir, are attacking a part of Japan region. You consider yourself as terrorist.

Sawazaki (screen): What? No. I'm trying to liberate Japan from puppet government!

Goro: Japan that you attacked in aggression movement.

Chinese Gun-Rus started to appears and open fire at them. Lancelot fires VARIS to destroys them. Dark Lancelot shoots multiple slash harkens at Chinese knightmares then shoots magnum pistol at small number of Chinese knightmares.

Goro: I'll go ahead. You take a left flank.

Suzaku (comms): Right!

Dark Lancelot slashes his swords at enemy knightmares and vehicles. Lancelot keep firing VARIS at them as best as he could to hold them off, but they caught him off guard causing him to drop VARIS and they destroys it.

Suzaku: My VARIS!

Dark Lancelot continues fighting off Chinese army force when he see more enemy reinforcement came appear on the sky until they were blasted away by none other than Shinkiro piloting by Zero aka Lelouch. He arrived as he landed on the ground and then he said.

Lelouch (speaker): I guess I'm arrive late.

Suzaku (speaker): Lelouch! I mean, Zero!

Goro (speaker): What took you so long, oh mighty Zero.

Lelouch (speaker): There's no time for that joke. Are you ready to fight?

Suzaku & Goro (speakers): Yes!

Lelouch (speaker): Then let's go!

The three knightmares together destroying through enemy lines like they were nothing. Lelouch got received transmission from Sawazaki as he said.

Sawazaki (comms): You stupid Britannian. I shouldn't know you're a leader of Black Knights. What's the reason you care about Japanese. To Britannian, they're nothing but lowly monkey people.

Lelouch (comms): Hmph! Say the one who attacking Japan in the selfish ways.

Sawazaki (comms): Selfish! I'm doing this for Japan!

Suzaku intervene the comms as he said.

Suzaku (comms): Sawazaki, if you do this for Japan, then why are you fleeing to Chinese Federation.

Goro (comms): In fact, why aren't you join us during Reclamation Day. You are nothing but a coward fool.

Sawazaki (comms): A coward fool! You will pay for that!

The three knightmares has breached in the base as they taking out enemy forces in their way.

Sawazaki and Gen. Cao are going down the stairs to get in te vehia and headed to the rooftop to escape.

Sawazaki: How can this happening. Most of Japan didn't help us at all!

Cao: We should headed to the helipad and escape there.

Sawazaki: Yes, thank you for that.

But when they got there, they were beig surrounded by Delta Eagle Force. Michael and his others pointing ther guns at them.

Tanya: Hello, boys. Going somewhere?

Michael (comms): This is Michael, Sawazaki and Gen. Chao has been captured. I repeat, they are captured.

Goro: Good work, Michael. Suzaku, fire the flare.

He said. Lancelot grabs a flare gun and shoots flare to the sky making a signal to Black Knights, JDA, and GDI entering the Kyushu city to retake back the base from Chinese army forces.

Timeskip

On the next morning, the JDA and Black Knights have gathered the surrendering Chinese soldiers into POW custody. Sawazaki and his other members were taking to the prison as well for crimes by attacking United States of Japan. Henry and Ohgi contact the leaders of Chinese Federation about Cao supporting Sawazaki and they claim thag they don't authorize it so Cao was humanitarian dog to follow Japan exile-government group without the approval. The Chinese Federation have to paid 80 billion Yuan for war reparation to returning Gen. Cao and POW prisoners according to Treaty of Manila. They paid a lot of people to get those soldiers return to the country and deal with Cao later on. Japan was safe thanks to Black Knights and GDI for provide protection from any threat of the nation.

Sawazaki was thrown into the cell as he is waiting for his trial, but then he hear a woman voice.

???: Hello there.

He turn around to see Lady Death was standing beside the cell door making an evil smirk on her face. He felt sweating on the forehead as he said.

Sawazaki: You!

He said shockingly as he accidentally fell on the floor and said to her.

Sawazaki: I tried my best, you know! I met your people to make a deal to me to take Japan as my own and I promise that I'll give you a plenty of sakura-

Lady Death: Shut up.

She kicked him at the face and then she raise her laser pistol at him. He begged to her of mercy.

Sawazaki: Please! Give me another chance! I wasn't thinking straight! I make sure your grandmaster will pleased me once I get out this prison and create another plan to attack. Please, have mercy!

Lady Death: There's no mercy when you being beaten. And Heretic of Nod does not care to defeatist.

Sawazaki: No, wait!

She pulls a trigger and shot at the head, killing Sawazaki on the floor. She get out the door and close it, leaving the prison unnoticed.
