Sitting between the two seniors, he kept on biting his nails and steal glances at the others, who're entering in the room. It wasn't a board meeting this time- but a meeting for him and his job, which is at stake. At least that's what the rumors went on about.

I guess...I fucked up for real...aish!

Finally, the Chief Executive Officer entered the scene with his PA and the Head of the Intelligence Department - Min Yoongi, under whom he works. Everyone stood up at the sight of him and bowed in respect. But both of them were shooting death glares at him, which made him gulp nervously and return a panic-filled smile at them.

Lord God Heaven! Help me!

The one standing beside him patted his back as he noticed that to provide him some confidence and everyone sat down on their respective seats after getting a stern nod from the Chief.

"So...", the Chief started with an unknown tone which sent shivers down his spine. "This is not the first time officer Kim Taehyung did a ridiculous job. Am I right, Mr. Kim Taehyung?"

"Ye-Ye-Yes, sir."

His stuttered self amused some but disgusted the two heads when his well-wishers face palmed internally.

"Good that you've realization at least. Thank you."

"Sir. Can we not come to the topic as for now? I guess you said you've got a meeting within 20 minutes." And that's how Yoongi tried to save Taehyung's fucked up ass from being more humiliated in front of others as a Head of the Department.

The two sitting by each side of Taehyung nodded in agreement when he just gave out a boyish toothy grin which appeared like a box. The Chief cleared his throat and continued.

"We're here to decide about Kim Taehyung's permanent department again. This time I've decided that- we will assign him into a big project and then decide." He looked at everyone's change in expression after pausing for some seconds. But Taehyung's reaction was the thing that amused him.

He cleared his throat again before continuing. "As mostly all the Heads along with our important officers are here today, I would like to inform everyone that we're going to work with the Government's Criminal Administration this time."

Everyone looked at each other in utter astonishment and slowly a murmuring noise started to engulf the silence.

"I know what ya'll are thinking. Yes, we got the chance but again...it will not be too easy this time. They'll not make it happen." No one thought about that, would be a lie. It crossed in mostly all the High ranked officers' minds. "And...I want Officer Min Yoongi to recruit Kim Taehyung in the case as he's the leading man here."

"But sir- I want to include another officer from my Department if you don't mind. Just to increase the pace of work, nothing much."

"Okay, good." He nodded after handing the case file to Yoongi and look at another one sitting beside Taehyung and said, "Jung Hoseok, I want your team to participate as well along with Cha Dong Suk's team. Equally. Hand in the names by this week to Yoongi and we shall call another meeting to discuss the strategies with the members. Other teams should prepare themselves for the ongoing Southern Island case- cause you guys will be leaving soon."

'Okay, sir' was all that he got as a reply from them before he headed out for his other meeting.

"What's wrong with you?!" He whisper yelled under his breathe at the boy who was continuously grinning at the older one. "UGH- What's so funny in that?!" Understanding the mischievous amused glint in his eyes he groaned and warned, "Don't enter in that topic again! And obviously- not in a situation like this!"

"Hyung...I know someone attacked us, but-" He peeked at the road while hiding in a dark alley together with the older one and continued before bursting into a fit of laughter again, "I really dunno how to not laugh at that."

The older face palmed internally and mentally scolded himself for bringing the boy with him in a situation like this for a lunch treat. But he could feel the atmosphere around them changed as soon as the younger one stopped laughing. His moment of craziness disappeared so fast that it felt like it never existed in the first place.

"They're here." The boy muttered quietly under his breathe leaving the older in utter shock. Even he couldn't figure out the sound of tiptoed footsteps before him, who joined the agency just 2 months ago!

Impressive!

After mentally praising him, his hand reached for the hidden machine by the leather belt at the back and pulled it off. He then ran out of the alley charging for his target leaving behind a confused boy.

The men who were following them up to the valley immediately pulled out their weapons at him. But it was of no vail, cause they were already shot by him before they could pull the trigger.

"Wow hyung!" The boy kept on praising the older while hiding behind a wall of a building or so in a whisper tone but the excitement was evident in his expression.

Suddenly a sound of clap interrupted the boy's excited state and he looked at the direction of the sound. The older's expression was grim at the sight of the newcomer, who was the one to clap and smirk at him.

"If my calculations are correct then...you're the Yeong, right?"

"If my calculations are correct then...you're the one to be dead by tonight." An evident smirk appeared as he entered the scene holding his gun right at the newcomer.

The other panicked internally. "What the heck- Jungkook what're you doing now?!" He whisper yelled at the boy beside him, who just shrugged it off.

He, the newcomer noticed the added presence in the scene but it didn't bother him much. Cause, according to his thoughts a boy of Jungkook's age will not be able to pull a single strand of his hair, let go the thought of being killed by him. He asked, "Really? And that also...by you? A kid-"

Mockery is never acceptable in Jungkook's life and whenever he was gifted with that, it got backfired as harshly as it can. And now it got backfired with two bullets- aimed at both the legs.

"Yes. A kid. Don't you feel ashamed now?" He smirked again.

The man hissed in pain- eyes filled with rage and despair, he glared at Jungkook. He tried to stand up from his now kneeling state but couldn't.

"Yeong hyung- I didn't kill him! See!" He looked at the older who was now looking at the boy with a starstruck-ed expression.

"I know...", just a whisper like sound came out from Yeong's mouth with a slow nod as he blinked several times while looking at the growling man.

"Then...why're you looking at me like that, hyung?"

"So? Who're you planning to recruit this time with V?" Hoseok asked as he walked down the empty cold corridors with Yoongi.

"I dunno..." He didn't look at him but the files and said, "maybe RM."

"That freak?! No no no no!"

Yoongi, at last, looked at him with a confused expression and asked, "Why?"

"You- You serious?! You'll add that monster in this valuable case?"

"Yes, I'll." His eyes went back to the files again. He continued, "And you're adding that Jeon kid as well. It would've been better if we could add Yeong, but there's no chance as for now. So, I'll consider him in exchange, and that way we'll get to know about his skills as well, though I know he's better than than anyone else in your team after Yeong."

"Hmm. I was also wondering 'bout that...and that case! Oof! Eating up the mind of my team members!"

His annoyed face made Yoongi chuckle and he patted the younger's shoulder saying, "Cool your mind bro. Everything will be fine. And the case is going to end soon even."

"Yeah...I wish." He frowned.

"By the way- where's that Jeon kid? I didn't see him today though." Yoongi asked Hoseok as they went past the guards and stood in front of the elevator.

"Oh yeah! I didn't even see him today." He started to think about it, tilting his head as they enter the elevator. Suddenly, his eyes bulge open and he bursted out with his loud voice, making Yoongi jump in shock, "Don't tell me- HE'S WITH YEONG!"

"And what's wrong in that?"

"Nothing is wrong in eating that but don't you follow any healthy diet?" He asked Jungkook as they came out of the alley after the mess being cleared up.

"Uhm...nothing much actually. But- hyung follows any?" Yeong knew that the boy tries to follow him in every step he takes and acts like a crazy fanboy at whatever he does. Jungkook continued, "You can guide me, you know..."

"Hmm. Sure. But I cant assure you that you'll be able to survive the guidance though."

"Oh ho, hyung! I'm ready-"

Jungkook got interrupted by a sudden push in his shoulder by an unknown person which made him stumble back along with the unknown guy in a black hoodie. Both were on the verge of landing with their asses on the road.

"What the-"

"I'm so sorry." The unknown in black bowed and quickly walked past them leaving a pissed off Jungkook cursing at him beside Yeong.

"Let's go, bro. Just shrug it off, ok?" He patted his shoulder and started to walk.

Jungkook nodded at his idea and was about to take a step when he noticed a paper. He quickly picked it up and was about to read when Yeong called him, "Hey, what're you doing?"

"Oh- no- nothing hyung! Let's go."

Jungkook looked at the paper and noticed a number that made his brows creased in confusion. He read it in his mind before putting it inside his pocket.

13430...? What that suppose to mean?
