Chapter 16
Natalie's POV
The place is milling with people by the time we walk in, both tourists and locals alike. The building is massive and an opportunity to showcase their amazing architectural skills is not missed by the Arabs.
I'm in awe as we go in further and join the queue for pre-booked tickets. After a few minutes, it's our turn and after Terrence shows the attendant the tickets on his phone, he asks us to join a group of three people for the guided tour and once the tour guide, who introduced himself as Ahmad, arrives, we begin going around as the young looking guy speaks on everything we see, promoting is to ask questions if we want to.
"I used to go to Infinity Aquarium back home with my parents when I was younger." I disclose lowly causing Terrence to look down at me. "Used to go there a lot. My mom always complained of how much of a menace I was cause I'd always run off there and just look around by myself." I laugh as I remember how worried she used to get. "Being there never got old. Eventually, though, we stopped. I guess I kinda outgrew it." I say with a small shrug.
Terrence gives me a smile that causes his eyes to light up. "I can definitely see you being a menace and having to be chased around the damn place by your parents just cause you won't sit your pretty ass down."
I nudge his side hard at that, the action more painful to me than it is to him I'm sure with his chiseled body. He lets out a deep laugh from his chest, before wrapping his arm around my shoulders, the action bringing us closer and causing me to lean on him slightly. I felt safe, protected in his arms.
We walk around a bit as the tour guide drawls on and on about each animal but I'm too enraptured by the actual sight before me to really pay attention to what he's saying.
Eventually, when we get to the Shark Encounter, he asks if anyone would want to dive there and Terrence turns look at me with a raised brow.
"You wanna dive?" He asks and I shake my head furiously.
"No way. I'm not dressed for that." I tell him and he lets out a breathy chuckle.
"We can get you the gear and all." Terrence adds with a hand gesture.
"No." I say adamantly. "I'm not ruining my makeup before dinner, otherwise we'll have to go back to the hotel for me to change."
Terrence gives me a small nod, letting it go. While the two people who paid are led away to get into their gears, I pull out my phone.
"Can you take some pictures of me?" I ask cause since the beginning of this trip I've barely taken any pictures of myself, more focused on being in and enjoying the moment, than committing them to memory which is actually just as important.
Terrence collects the phone from my hand as I move to stand next to the tank and after some shots, he starts laughing.
"I think that shark likes you." He says, gesturing behind me. When I turn, I smile as I watch one of the sharks swimming closer but not too close that it would try to hit the glass, and unlike most people, I'm actually not scared. The animal is even more beautiful and magnificent up close and I don't know when my hand goes up to touch the cold glass of the tank.
I hear a click which brings me back to reality as I turn to see Terrence with my phone raised and the camera on me. He pulls back and looks at the picture as I approach him. "Beautiful." Is the only word he utters but it's enough to have my cheeks flaming up.
"Want me to take your picture?" The smallish Asian woman on the tour with us asks with a grin causing her eyes to crinkle. Since the two people she was with before had left to gear up, she stood alone.
"Of course, thank you." I say, handing her my phone and pulling Terrence's hand. He laughs as he joins me and together we strike a few poses, most playful.
Out of nowhere he held my hand and spun me around, a loud laugh escaping my lips at the surprising action as I ended back up in his arms. He stared down at me, his gaze searing and his deep brown eyes filled with amazement. I find myself lost in his eyes for a second too long as I wondered what his lips will feel like if he just dipped his head and pressed them against mine.
Almost as if reading my thoughts, he did just that. As his full lips met mine, I let out a small moan. We moved our lips against each other for a short second before I pulled away, remembering where we were and what we were doing.
The Asian woman grinned excitedly as if she had gotten the perfect shot as she clapped her hands a little. "You both are a perfect couple." She gushed, handing me back my phone.
Her words remind me that indeed we aren't a couple, not even close and this caused a tinge of an unfamiliar emotion to course through me but I ignored it, collecting my phone from her hand before thanking her without bothering to correct her assumption.
Her group returned then and she walked off to rejoin them, leaving Terrence and I alone. I didn't want to look at the pictures so I just pushed my phone back into my purse and I shifted on my feet suddenly feeling awkward.
"Natalie." Terrence called my name softly. I looked up to see him part his lips as if he wanted to say something before closing them back and clenching his jaw.
Giving him a smile, I take ahold of his hand as we go back to join the group.
Over half an hour later, we leave the aquarium and head to the Sharjah Art Museum. Conveniently, today happened to be the day of the Modern and Contemporary Arab Art Exhibition which I later discovered meant that majority of the museums art works were brought out.
Art was something I've always loved, Terrence too as he told me that he enjoyed it as well and his brother was a collector. That surprised me because that must mean that he's wealthy as hell but I didn't say anything.
As we walked around and viewed the exhibit, we talked about the possible meaning of the different works, making ridiculous guesses most of the time that caused us to laugh loudly to the annoyance of other guests.
By around seven pm, the exhibit ended and we got back into the car and began the drive to The Penthouse which was located in Palm Jumeirah.
When we got there I was amazed by the beautiful view as we were guided to our seats on the balcony, overlooking the deep blue sea and the high rise buildings which were built on the water.
"This is so beautiful." I mused as we settled into the plush white seats. I turn to Terrence then, a grateful smile on my lips. "Thank you."
His gaze is soft yet intense. "You're welcome. I hope you've enjoyed today, so far at least."
"Yes." I say before chuckling. "So far? Don't tell me you've got more tricks up your sleeve, Terrence."
"I might have something else planned for you." The way he said the words left no uncertainties on what he was referring to.
I gulped inaudible at that, a jolt of anticipation slowly filling me as I found myself looking forward to what he had planned.
The waiter arrived then, interrupting the moment as he presents two thick menus to us. I take it from his hand and peruse the pages of the folder. As my eyes find the exorbitant prices of the meals, I look up at Terrence who isn't the least bit bothered as his fingers go over the list.
My eyebrows arch at that but I dismiss the thought, turning back to the menu in my hand. After some time, I decide on what I want and I place my order. Terrence does too and then the waiter leaves.
The food arrives shortly after and we both dig in, hungry from all the touring we did today. Although conversation is scarce as we eat dinner, choosing to focus on the meal before us, I find my mind going back to his earlier statement.
Arousal courses through me as the image of Terrence pounding into me from the back in my condo flashes through my mind, the thought causing me to shift in my seat. Terrence shoots me a look but remains quiet as we eat.
After about thirty minutes, we begin the drive back to The Palace Downtown Hotel. We head up to our suite and as we walk in, Terrence's phone goes off with a call.
"I'll be right back." He tells me after he looks at the caller ID, dropping a kiss on my cheek before walking off to the balcony.
Releasing a breath, I go into the room and after pulling out something to wear, I head to the restroom to shower. Today was a good day, I admit to myself, a small smile gracing my lips as Terrence comes to my mind.
Some part of me, the paranoid part, warns me to be cautious. To not move too fast, although I think that's too late, I ignore the voice regardless. Something about Terrence made me want to be reckless for once in my life. It made me excited and slightly fearful at the same damn time.
With a sigh, I open the door to the shower and step inside once I'm sure that the water is at the right temperature. As the water cascades down my head, I felt my worries dissipating and my shoulders become less tense. I began to wash my hair, massaging the shampoo into my scalp repeatedly. I was washing the foam off when the shower door was pulled open.
Turning, I wasn't surprised to be faced with Terrence's form. What stunned me was his nakedness, the smooth planes of his ripped chest that made him almost look carved exposed to my starving eyes. My breath stuck in my throat as my gaze travelled to the V of his lower abdomen which led to his manhood. He was already hard from what I could see, although not fully.
I instinctively licked my lips, my mouth watering at the thought of tasting him. His hand on my check was what diverted my attention from his southern region and back to his face. Deep brown orbs stared down at me, the lust swirling in them unmistakable. The sight ignited something in me, something that caused a liquid that was not water to trail down my thighs as he stared down at me.
"So beautiful." Terrence muttered, his thumb rubbing across my bottom lip.
I caught it in my mouth when he did it again, looking straight into his eyes as I sucked on his thumb. He groaned lowly, the sound pained.
Before I knew it, Terrence pulled his finger out of my mouth and his lips descended on mine. He kissed me fiercely, the action filled with passion as his hands gripped my waist tightly. Pulling me into his body, my hand came up and landed on his hard chest as my breasts crushed against his body. With one hand planted firmly on my waist, the other moved to my ass.
I gasped when I felt him squeeze the flesh in his hand, the action granting his tongue access into my mouth.
Terrence hoisted me up and I immediately wrapped my legs around his thick waist as he held on to me. He pushed me against the wall carefully as his lips left mine and instead found its way to my neck, trailing kisses down the skin and leaving a scorching heat in its wake.
My eyes fluttered close, my lips parting as he sucked on the skin near my collarbone. When I was secure, one of his hands left my waist and made it's way inside my thighs, inching slowly to where I wanted him the most.
He took his fucking time and when I began to get impatient, I shifted in an attempt to feel his touch but he moved his hand, evading me.
"Terrence." I muttered agitatedly and he fixed his eyes on me as his hand finally touched my core. A gasp left my lips at the feeling of him rubbing the damp flesh and I almost cried out when he pushed a finger in. Slowly at first, and then he added another. This time, I did cry out. His thick fingers felt too good not too. In and out it went, faster and faster.
The build up felt unexplainable and before I knew it, I slammed my eyes shut as I had my first orgasm of the night, my knees feeling weak.
My body felt lax but Terrence held me up, the muscles of his arm bulging as he kept me in place. Moving the stray strands of my hair behind my ear, he leaned in close and whispered, "I've barely even started with you."
