|Chapter 7| Saving her.
Y/N's POV:
I shivered.
Wow... This U-Underground can get really c-cold! It's amazing how it can do this!
My thoughts were keeping me alive, but barely.
What's also a-amazing, is t-t-that there's wind down here!....
The howling winds were pushing me closer and closer to the ground every time they hit me. I nearly fell on this last one, and I think I can go only for a few more minute s , b e f o r e I . . . . . . . - . . . - . - - .

Warmth....
Sweet, sweet, warmth....
Oh such welcoming warmth....

Grillby's POV:
The woman... She went off into the storm....
Surely she knows her way right?!
She must have a house, right?!!
She must not be dead right??!!!
Okay I need to fix my issue with saying repetitive words like that. But, that's aside the problem here. The problem is finding that lady with the trench coat. It's bad enough that I, a fire-elemental, is walking through a snowstorm, but a human?! That's surely not healthy!
I may not know the science behind a human and the temperatures they can survive, but this weather is surely disastrous for me. If I get hit too hard, I will start to die...
But for some reason, she took my flame inside of me, and now I have this weird feeling to go towards that urge... The urge of where she could be. Where she took the flame...
I walked, and walked, and got pushed back by the wind, but I kept walking.
I ran, and ran, and ran, but I nearly fell down by the wind.
I pushed forward, and forward, and forward, but then I saw something on the ground...
A trench coat....
With H/C hair flying awkwardly with the wind....
And with an ice-cold body to go with it.
"Oh my stars..." I breathed, and then I managed to pick her up.
She was so cold... I pressed my face against hers, and at first, I felt the chilliness, and I thought I would extinguish, but instead, the woman warmed up, and got a more healthier shade pale. She was still very pale, but my warmth made her not looking dead.
I then realized the storm was still going on.
I ran towards the back of the bar, and I opened the back door. This was the exit to throw away trash, but I'm not using it as an exit, but an entrance.
With the howling winds snapping at my face, I closed the door, and made my way towards the built in home that's behind the bar.
With saying a quick 'hello' to Sans and Fuku, I made my ways towards our home...
It was a darling little home, but it was practical. There was no kitchen, because there was one at the bar. But there was a couch, a bathroom, and two doors leading to two rooms. Fuku's and I's. Though, Fuku could always room with me, since I have a pullout bed underneath mine, so that would make for a guest room in Fuku's.
I set down the lady on the couch, and I felt all the guilt that I felt before, seep in once more, when I remembered that I never got her name...
She started shivering again.
I covered her up with blankets upon blankets, but they don't seem to cease the chilliness that is in the woman's body. Maybe the flame that's inside of her would warm her up, but it seems like it has extinguished. I tried using my fire magic on her, but I was too cold, and I had just gotten out of the snow storm, so I am very weak, but my body, with it's flames, still lit up the room, and illuminated her pale face. I then had an idea, but I glowed red at the thought.
I would use my own heat, to heat up her, without any cost, except maybe my dignity if someone were to walk in and see us.
So, I stripped of my clothes except for my pants and possibly vest of course, and I thought over my plan.
What if Sans were to walk in?
What if Fuku were to walk in?
What if I were to extinguish?
What if this doesn't work?
What if the woman wakes up while I am with her?
These outcomes were flickering in my head, and I just decided to just act out my plan. With the couch being a rather small size, I don't know how else to do it, except for me, either being at the bottom, or, at the top....
Youknowwhatbottomitis.
I moved the lady so I could lay down, and I set her, above me...
Maybe this plan wasn't smart after all... I thought, but I was proven wrong by the lady snuggling her face into my chest. My flames turned a glowing red.
"Warmth..." I heard the lady mumble, and I didn't hear or see any movement from her after. I looked at her face, and I saw the paleness of her face reside, and the warmth of my heat to warm her cheeks, making them pink.
I felt the flame that she took, flicker with mine, and I felt comfortable, relaxed, and at peace....
*creak*
"Hey Grilbs? Where'd ya-" I heard Sans's voice from the door. I opened my eyes and I suddenly swerved my head towards him, with my flames red again. Sans, was blushing blue. He then slowly backed away, not changing his gaze, until he closed the door.
Oh my stars... I thought, embarrassed.
I then let the vibrant color of my flames resign, and then I felt calm once again. I closed my eyes, and I then realized that I had left my glasses on this whole time. I took off my glasses, that had surprisingly stayed on during the storm, and I set them on an end table right behind my head, which was a polished stone table with some gems inside, making it shimmer and reflect the firelight in an amazing away, turning it slightly blue.
With that last thought in my head, I drifted off into dreamland, which would consist of some of the weirdest dreams I have ever had...
