The 'Vessels' series involves stories that take place in the 'Supernatural' universe! It received its name because, as you will see when you read the books, each of the main characters are a vessel for a supernatural deity in some way, shape, or form, even if it is sometimes a bit of a stretch to claim that they're a vessel. For example, my OC for the Dean Winchester fic is a reaper, so I would claim that she's a vessel for the reaper species/essence(if that makes sense).

Anyway, on to how to read these books. For the first couple in the series, I suppose it doesn't really matter what order you read them in. They mostly take in their own little worlds for the first act or so, but I will warn you: once you get into the actual Supernatural timeline, the other characters from the series will be brought in.

However, there is one caveat here, because I do have recommendations! If you are a romance reader, I definitely recommend you start with 'Wanted Dead or Alive'! It's perfect for my slow burn, enemies to lovers girlies. If you want more of an insta-love, heart wrenching, drama style book, go with 'Knocking on Heaven's Door'. And if you want more of a literary fiction & coming of age experience, start with 'Gunpowder and Lead' for sure. :)
