Third Pov
Cobra and Jellal liked (Y/N) since elementary school. The two would always compete for the girls affection/acknowledgement. They couldn't stand one another since they were both friends with the girl. It was their freshman year in high school and homecoming was just around the corner. Which meant the two were competing wether or not one was going to take her to the dance or the other.

"Cobra go piss yourself, I'm on the varsity football team. She's gonna want a guy like me to take her to the homecoming." Jellal said cockily

"You do realize I made it on varsity too right?" Cobra asked, clearly annoyed

"You only made it because your magic allows you to hear people's thoughts." Jellal hissed

"Do you want me to kick your ass again?!" Cobra growled

The two started a brawl against one another in the hallway. Bystanders formed a circle around them as the two started to hit each other.

"Geez what's this all about?" Natsu asked, trying to get a view of what's happening

"Cobra and Jellal are fighting over (Y/N) again as usual." Gray stated

"What do you expect she's the prettiest girl in school. But I don't get why they have to have a fist fight over her. She's not that special." Kianna rolled her eyes, Erza nodded in agreement

"What are you kidding?! (Y/N)'s not pretty, she's absolutely stunning!" Lucy said

"Lucy's right you'd have to be blind to not see how gorgeous she is." Gray agreed

Kianna again rolled her eyes and Erza sighed in annoyance. They had crushes on Cobra and Jellal since forever and they always chased after (Y/N) like dogs.

"Oh wait there's (Y/N) right now!" Natsu said "Hey (Y/N)! Some boys are fighting over ya!"

"Huh? Who?" (Y/N) asked

"Tweedle ears and tweedle blue." Gray answered

"Cobra and Jellal?" (Y/N) asked

"Yeah, apparently they both want to ask you to the homecoming!" Lucy said "This is like one of the love triangle books I read! So romantic!"

"Lucy believe me it's not as romantic as it sounds." (Y/N) said

It was a week before prom. (Y/N) was torn between two options; Cobra and Jellal. Both of them were handsome and totally her type but she had to choose one. She couldn't have both right? (Y/N) buried her face in her hands. She was supposed to have her mind made up by next week so she could start plans with the person.

As she put her backpack in her locker, she felt someone tap on her shoulder. Speak of the devils, she turned around and saw Cobra and Jellal.

"(Y/N) can we talk to you?" Jellal asked

"Yeah sure." (Y/N) answered, closing her locker before following them to the library

"Hey so (Y/N) we just wanted to say that even though we always fight over you and stuff, we both will totally support your decision no matter who you choose. We will never stop loving you." Cobra said

Jellal next to him nodded in agreement.

(Y/N) felt a slight weight taken off her shoulders.

"Thank you, and no matter who I choose I will always be your friend." (Y/N) said with a smile

Cobra and Jellal smiled ear to ear before thanking her.

'Okay. Now it's time to choose.' (Y/N) thought
