Cobra hated being in the Oracion Sies. He felt like a complete reject being with them. Every day being a part of that group was hell since they made his life miserable. Near their base was this old abandoned mansion that barley stood. It used to be the home of a girl his age named (Y/N) (L/N) and her family. However, she died in that house and her lost spirit roamed around.

Every day he would come and visit her spirit since she was his only real friend. He needed someone to talk to on horrible days like this.

He opened the doors to the mansion and took a step inside.

"(Y/N)! Are you here?!" He shouted

His voice echoed off of the walls and bounced right back to him.

"Where else would I be?" A voice said

He looked over with a smile to see his ghostly friend floating behind him. She was very beautiful girl with (H/L) (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes. She glowed a slight blue since she was ghost and was able to float around and go through walls.

"Had another bad day?" (Y/N) asked, floating down to him

"Yeah." Cobra stated

He wished so badly that he could read her mind. However he couldn't since she was dead.

"Hey (Y/N) I have a question?" Cobra asked

The ghostly girl nodded

"What happened to you? I mean... How did you die?" Cobra asked

(Y/N) gave a sad smile, "I was abused by my dad after my mom died. He used to come home drunk and use his fire magic on me. One day it got too out of hand and he set the house on fire. My magic was guns and it didn't help me at all with the situation. The smoke suffocated me and I eventually died."

"I'm so sorry." Cobra said

"It's fine. I had no one back then but now I have you. No ones been in this mansion for years except for you." (Y/N) said

"I'm glad we're here for each other." Cobra said

"Yeah it's lonely inside this mansion." (Y/N) said

"Do you ever remember what your dad did to you?" Cobra asked

"The memories of what he didn't aren't blurry at all. I remember them so clearly. He used to take me to the basement and used his magic to put burn marks on me. He even used his magic on a belt one time and beat me until I passed out. I think he enjoyed it. Seeing the fear in my eyes. If I'm honest with you, I just don't want to see my memories sometimes." (Y/N) said

"He sounds like an awful man. He's probably burning in hell for what he's done to you." Cobra said

(Y/N) smiled slightly, "Yeah I guess. But sometimes I wish I was still alive because I can't feel anything anymore. And I'm trapped here in this mansion forever."

"(Y/N) I didn't want to tell you but I will. I'm going to be leaving for a big mission tomorrow. I'm going to be gone for a very long time. However, I swear to you when my time comes, I will die in here with you no matter what. I love you (Y/N) and I want to be with you forever." Cobra said

(Y/N) looked at him with somewhat tears eyes

"God I wish I could kiss you right now."Cobra said

(Y/N) giggled at his comment

"Hey Cobra. What's your real name? You said you would tell me one day when we first met. I think now is a good time." (Y/N) said

"The names Erik." Cobra stated

"..Erik..." (Y/N) repeated

"Yup." Cobra said

"Well, Erik. Let's make a promise so we can be together." (Y/N) said

"Heh, m'kay. Well my promise to you is the day I die, I will make sure I am here so we can be together forever." Cobra said

"And my promise is I'll wait as long as it takes for you." (Y/N) said

"I like this. Our promise." Cobra said

"I do too." (Y/N) said with a smile

From that day forward, the spirit of (Y/N)
(L/N) waited everyday for Erik to return, clinging onto their promise to each other. She knew it was going to be a long time but she knew she would wait an eternity for him to come back and be with her forever.
