Your Pov
My name is (Y/N) and I was born deaf. All my life I wished for only one thing, to hear. My boyfriend of a year, Cobra was one of the lucky ones who could hear. He had extremely good hearing, the literal opposite of me.

I pondered on the couch for awhile, wondering what it was like to hear. I didn't notice for obvious reasons that Cobra snuck up behind me and grabbed me. I freaked out for a second until I realized it was him.

I laughed and turned around,
"You scared me!"

He grinned, "Sorry, babe. What are you thinking about by the way?"

"It was nothing." I responded

He frowned, "I hear your thoughts, don't lie to me."

I felt a sting in my heart when I thought about how boring I might be to him. He would be so much happier with a normal girl who could actually hear. He might leave me one day for someone who was better. I felt a tear roll down my cheek, Cobra immediately came by my side.

"(Y/N) I won't ever leave you, I swear." Cobra signed to me and gave me a hug

'I know but I wished that I could hear your voice.' I thought

"About that, (Y/N). I found someone who can fix your hearing."

I immediately felt excited, I knew the possibilities were not high but it was worth a shot. "Who is it?"

"I forget her name but she owns a business and they think they found a spell that could possibly help you hear again!" Cobra signed, smiling "It was supposed to be your Christmas gift but I'm taking you tomorrow."

"You're so good to me!" I hugged him again tightly

"Haven't we talked about this (Y/N)? You're my whole world. I'd do anything for you." Cobra tucked back a strand of my hair before leaning in to kiss me. I kissed back, putting my hands on his cheeks.

~The next day~
Cobra Pov
I was nervous, standing outside of the building as that doctor casted the spell on (Y/N). It's been about an hour but I'm pretty sure this will be worth it. As soon as I knew it, (Y/N) came out of the building, she smiled softly at me and shook her head. I felt devastated for a second until she signed, "Speak, please. I can't exactly talk yet."

I sighed in relief knowing that it worked. She looked up at me with her mesmerizing (E/C) eyes that I couldn't resist.

"I love you." I said

(Y/N) started to tear up, "I can hear you! I can't believe it!"

She began describing how amazing it was to hear for the first time. I just smiled at how adorable she looked. The fact that she can finally hear me made me feel good. She noticed that I was just staring at her and not saying anything.

"What's wrong?"

"You... I can't get enough of loving you." I smiled, swooping in to steal a kiss. I hugged her tightly afterwards. I couldn't wait for her to speak for the first time. It will take a little while but I'll help her.

"I can't get enough of you too." I heard the voice of an angel say in my ear. She just spoke to me for the very first time.

"Sorry that my voice is bad! I haven't spoken in forever!" (Y/N) immediately panicked, I chuckled slightly. She pouted and looked at me in annoyance.

"It wasn't, it was beautiful." I said smiling from ear to ear "I love you."

"And I love you Cobra." She spoke again with confidence
