Fallout: Johnny Lawrence (Part 31)
Dedicated to AbbyWatson4
How did I manage to mess up the best thing in my life?!
The only person who he could always count on in his life was Miguel. He was the only person who believed in him, no matter what.
"What was he going on about being more tha sensei and student?" thought Johnny, sighing.
This place is too dangerous for him, he doesn't understand what he's getting himself into. And was he limping?
He hated to admit it, but maybe he'd have to be the bad guy and force him to come back to LA.
He needs to be safe, first.
Wait, where's Robby?
In all the drama that had consumed the last few minutes, Johnny had completely forgotten to go back outside and get Robby. Simultaneously, Johnny rentered the living room as Robby came in from the front door, his hands raised in defense.
"What happened?" Robby asked his dad, agitatedly.
"Oh, great! Another random kid to take care of!" exclaimed Snake before he dropped onto the couch, finally unconscious from the beer.
"Nothing, everything's fine," answered Johnny, dismissively.
Miguel's gaze was locked on Mike, though, Johnny didn't need to see his face to know that things were not going well.
"Is everybody here now?" asked Mike, exasperatedly.
Miguel nodded.
"Okay, just to make sure I'm clear on this, you're my son, you're his Sensei, and you're his estranged son," confirmed Mike, pointing to all three of them as he mentioned them.
How does he know Robby's my son?
"I never said Robby was Johnny's son," questioned Miguel, suspiciously.
"Well, if you'd just let me get a word in, kid, I could tell you," snapped Mike, his voice seemingly changing in a matter of seconds.
They heard the slamming of doors coming from the kitchen and the hall.
"That's just great," muttered Johnny.
"Don't worry, it's just a precaution," scoffed Mike after seeing their faces of surprise.
Miguel was stunned, speechless and Robby was looking to Johnny for what to do next.
The best way to get outta this is to punch our way out.
The problem was that Robby wasn't at his strongest between his lack of sleep and his most recent concussion and he didn't expect Miguel to fight his dad, especially if he was hurt.
"To answer your question, I was hired by an old friend to convince you to join Cobra Kai," explained Mike, staring directly at Miguel.
"He would never," stated Johnny, clenching his fists.
"Oh, but he might for his long-lost daddy, or at least, that's what he figured," shrugged Mike.
"I'm done," said Johnny and without hesitation, Johnny popped Mike right in the jaw, sending him stumbling backwards, blood on his lips.
"So you wanna play that game!" shouted Mike, getting in a fighting stance.
"Wait, stop!" yelled Miguel as he and Robby pushed their way between the fighters.
Johnny huffed angrily.
"I know this is your dad, but you heard what this guy said, right?!" shouted Johnny.
"You don't have to do this," started Miguel, looking at his dad, pleadingly.
"Enough!" yelled Mike before punching Miguel in the face, knocking him onto the ground.
"You can say what you want about me, about karate, about my parenting skills, but don't you dare lay a finger on Miguel!" yelled Johnny.
He charged past Robby and kicked Mike so hard he went smashing through the wall.
After hearing the commotion inside, the doors had been unlocked and several of Mike's men were running inside to help their boss.
"You take care of him, I'll help Miguel," urged Robby, gesturing towards the hole in the wall.
Johnny nodded, looking back at Miguel one last time before stepping through the hole to face his enemy.
This is going to be fun.
