This is super duper short but hey hey it's the final chapter

Clyde forced opened his eyes and had to blink a couple times. He was in a different room. A different room that had all his posters from home and.. He was home!

Clyde let out a very manly squeal and jumped out of bed. He was wearing his favourite pyjamas and everything was the same as how he left it. He excitedly sprinted downstairs to find his mum making breakfast and he pulled her into a long hug. "I love you, mum. I love you, I love you, I love you." He didn't want to let her go because he feared losing her and his home again. It had been so long since he had seen his mum's smile and he had missed it so much.

"What's with the special greeting? Did something happen overnight that I am unaware of?" His mum asked with a laugh. Clyde didn't say anything.

For the first time in his whole life, Clyde was excited as he walked through his school gates. He smiled at every student and, when he ran into his friend, Chris, he had to fight back tears. He hugged his friend so tightly and it was obviously making poor, oblivious Chris uncomfortable. Clyde pulled back with an embarrassed grin. "What's with the hug?" Chris chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Have you fallen in love with my amazing charms?"

Clyde playfully shoved his friend. "What charms?" He missed his friend so much.

Clyde was ecstatic that he had English first. He sat next to Lucifer and he was eager to talk to the boy. He sat down in his seat next to his friend and grinned, poking him on the shoulder. "We're home." He whispered, feeling the urge to hug Lucifer.

"I know. I feel amazing."

"Me too. It's so nice seeing everyone again but it's like no time has passed. Chris probably thought I was an idiot when I pulled him into a hug this morning." Clyde chuckled.

"Chris..?"

"My friend."

"Oh-"

"Lucifer! Clyde! Get to work!"

Nothing had changed but Lucifer and Clyde's friendship. They didn't tell their story to anyone but a few people were suspicious of how they suddenly became best friends overnight. They'd both just laugh, claiming they had been friends for a long time, they just didn't talk in school.

Lucifer and Clyde didn't go a day without being apart. They thoroughly enjoyed each other's company and hated being away from the other.

Although they were sad that they had lost their abilities to freeze and heat, they were glad to be home. Occasionally they'd both slip up and try to set something on fire or freeze something but they played it off as an 'inside joke'.

Clyde and Lucifer- best friends and heroes.
