"Are you insane?!" Clyde whispered in a fierce voice, looking at Lucifer like he was crazy. "He's going to use us to destroy the world or something?"

"I think it's for the best. We need to get home, don't we?" Lucifer replied with a soft smile.

"I don't care about getting home as much as I care about everyone in this world? Think about Elliot, Audrey and Edwin... they could get killed because of us.."

Edwin's face slowly got hotter as drips of water fell down his face. There was a large puddle at his feet and he had only just acknowledged it. When he was free to move once again, he immediately run up the stairs in his home. Clyde was missing but Audrey and Elliot were standing there, looking as confused and shocked as Edwin felt.

"What happened?" Audrey mumbled, her eyes wide. Elliot pulled her into a hug.

"I think it was Clyde but I can't.. remember."

"Why did he.. freeze us? Did he have evil intentions?"

"I can't remember but I don't think he would do it on purpose.. right?"

Edwin shook his head. "That ain't him."

"Can we go home now?" Clyde asked, staring at the man who had just (finally) introduced himself as Flynn with his arms folded.

"Do you know what a deal is?" Flynn chuckled. "It means you have to do something for me too. What you're going to do for me today is demonstrate your powers. Show me what you can do, that sort of thing."

Clyde bit his lip, urging to argue but deciding against it: Lucifer seemed fine with it so he should be fine with it.

"Follow me through here." Flynn guided the pair of boys into a large room with padded walls. There were two men and a large bowl of water. "These are both androids so do not worry about inflicting pain upon them. First of all, show me on the bowl of water what extent you can freeze, Clyde."

Clyde held back a glare as he stepped towards the bowl of water. He stuck out his hand and concentrated as hard as he could. The water froze over within a few seconds.

"Lucifer." Lucifer nodded, stepping towards the frozen water and heating it up with ease. Flynn didn't look at all impressed but he nodded, a man walking into the room, taking the hot water and leaving.

"Okay, now... show me what you can do to people..."

"No." Clyde blurted out as Lucifer stepped towards the android. "We will not hurt people unless we need to."

"I believe we had a deal and if you break it, there will be consequences.. consequences involving your little friends Elliot and Audrey.. Maybe Edwin too.." The man's voice was sickening; it actually made him feel ill.

Clyde wanted to scream out. It was then that he was hit with a stupidly obvious idea. He swirled round and jutted out both hands, directing them at Flynn who looked less than impressed. Flynn let out a loud sigh and walked over to Clyde whose eyes were now wide open. He grabbed him by the collar and forced him to meet his eyes. "Do you think I'm that stupid, Clyde? I'm head of a team of scientists; I'm not exactly an idiot. If you play one nasty trick that again, you and all your friends are dead. I cannot be attacked as long as I am standing in this building. There is a protection around me connected to the scientific equipment so you can't hurt me. However, I can hurt you. Keep that in mind." He shoved Clyde backwards and Clyde gulped, too scared to say anything back.

He solemnly froze the android until icicles hung off him. Lucifer set the other android on fire. All in silence.

Lucifer and Clyde had both stayed inside the headquarters for at least a week when they were set their first official mission. Lucifer had just got out of the small bed (it was better than sleeping bags) in his and Clyde's little room (it was where some of the scientists stayed) when Flynn burst into the room with a wide smile.

"I am sending you to Ashville Town today! Your mission is to get the whole town to flee."

"Why?" Clyde muttered, his whole body shaking at the thought of hurting families.

"Because they're in my way and I need them to know who's boss. In half an hour, meet me in room 13 and I shall get a scientist to prepare your equipment."

"Thank you." Lucifer said with a soft smile.

Flynn gave Clyde a look as if to say see, he knows who's in charge.

"You will be given commands through this ear piece." The scientist said as it was attached to Clyde's ear. Clyde smiled in understanding whilst Lucifer stayed quiet. "If you're in trouble, just say headquarters and we will be alerted. Do you boys have any questions?"

"How do we get there?" Clyde asked and the scientist grinned in knowing.

"This way, please." Through a door... and then another door... there was a helipad. A helipad. A gigantic helicopter was sitting on it, a pilot inside it. The pilot waved with a grin and the boys were too in awe to wave back. "You seem to get special treatment so you are going to be flying to Ashville in a helicopter! The pilot, Leo, will direct you from here."

Leo seemed too friendly for the organisation he was working for. The smile never really wiped off his face and his ginger hair and freckles made him look even more approachable. He was wearing giant headphones around his neck and he looked.. happy in general. He climbed out of the helicopter and waved again. "I am Leo, as you know." He bowed a little, making the boys smile. "I will be your pilot for the next half an hour. I have headphones for both of you as the sound of the 'chopper may be a little damaging for your poor ears. If you climb in here and take a seat." Lucifer and Clyde climbed into the helicopter and sat down, both still in shock from the fact that they were standing inside a helicopter! They were both handed a headset similar to the pilot's and they put them on. "Enjoy the ride."
