GIANNA HART is one of those girls who like to have their life perfectly mapped out. So, when her mother made the impulsive decision to move across the country, away from her father (which Gianna didn't exactly mind, she'd never had much to do with him, anyway), the girl decided there and then she was no longer going to be dragged through her own life - but rather to march through it triumphantly, instead. From now on, she likes knowing exactly what she wants, how she is going to get it, who she wants to be - and what she doesn't want to associate herself with. Once she's made her decisions, there's no point trying to convince her otherwise. If Gianna has planned something, she'll see it through, or else.

And so, all hell breaks loose when another unmanageable bombshell is dropped on her, thanks to a stupid gene that she hadn't even known ran through her family, up until now. Because, turning into a shapeshifter was definitely not on the agenda. Gianna hates it - she hates it, so much, because it's the one thing in her life - apart from the sudden move - she hasn't been able to control, not one tiny bit. And she loathes it.

What's worse is that she now has to hide all of this from the friends she's managed to make ever since moving to Washington, which is a huge secret to deal with. Gianna can't handle keeping secrets, either, it's just too much weight on her shoulders.

And then, as if her life hasn't already become chaotic enough, she really has the audacity to uncontrollably imprint (because that's a thing, apparently?) on a boy she'd already known quite well, which she knows is just going to screw things up between them. Seriously, the very last thing she needed in this moment was some kind of soulmate-awakening, but here she is, stuck in the midst of it all.

So much for being in control.

But, even if the red-headed girl thinks she knows everything, by now, she still has no idea that being a lone wolf in La Push is completely impossible - because she is living on the lands of a tribe that has formed long before her own transformation.

And one of the boys in this pack just so happens to be the same boy she accidentally imprinted on - and he's trying his best to hide his own version of the very same secret from Gianna Hart.

A/N: Guysss! I'm so excited to publish this! I've been in the Twilight fandom for years, and wrote a Jacob fanfic when I joined Wattpad like six years ago with no writing experience whatsoever and it was so cringe oml. But, I've had this idea in my head for a while and Seth Clearwater is such a softie ugh I love him, so I started a draft idea for a fic for him last year and kind of abandoned it - but I've picked it up and changed a few things, and I'm so excited to publish!
