Luke: what's your favorite breakfast food

Teni: I'm sorry what

Luke: breakfast food

Luke: this is extremely valuable information

Luke: I like waffles a lot but I also enjoy a good breakfast sandwich

Teni: oh uh me too I guess

Teni: I'm not a breakfast person

Luke: EXCUSE ME

Luke: breakfast is easily the best meal of the day, not to me too the most important, and I refuse to allow you to neglect such a gift to us. you either love waffles or breakfast sandwiches or you don't but you don't 'guess' you like them. I feel so disrespected right now

Teni: damn did I strike a nerve

Luke: breakfast is the BEST

Luke: my dad used to take us all to breakfast before he became Mega Asshole #1 and it was always really fun bc he would be sober and we'd draw faces on our pancakes with syrup and toppings and eat fruits that were cut in the shapes of stars

Teni: in a breakfast cafe?

Luke: yes!!! like the one you play gigs for. I want to go there so so so bad it brings back awesome memories

Luke: my mom would always order a vegetarian omelette with French toast on the side and the rest of us would eat everything they had

Luke: we knew all the employees and sometimes they'd give us free things like a new recipe they're trying out or whatever

Luke: breakfast was amazing before my dad became an asshole

Luke: even when he was an asshole, it was usually too early for him to be drunk

Luke: idk I guess it was just the safest time for me and I really miss eating breakfast with the people I love

Teni: I can't see you but I can physically feel you radiating positivity and happiness. I've never seen someone light up about a meal before

Teni: its super super cute

Luke: BREAKFAST HAS NEVER NOT BEEN LIT OKAY

Luke: I'm missing my family a lot and I was just thinking about breakfast so I thought I'd ask you about your favorite thing to eat for breakfast

Teni: why didn't you message your family about it

Luke: hmm

Luke: I actually don't know

Luke: I was thinking about the people I love and you just came to mind first
