I looked beyond the doorway, and I saw string with stars on it hanging off the white balcony railway. I tilted my head, as I stared at the brightly colored stars. My guardian looked down at me and smiled softly. They patted my head, as the grandfather clock in the living room chimed, signaling that it was 1:00. It meant that this was naptime. I looked up at my guardian, confused about where I should sleep. I can't talk yet, so I just mumbled "Naptime?" And they looked down at me. They nodded softly, before picking me up.

Yes, dear, it is naptime.

They spoke kindly to me, as they brought me to their bedroom. They set me down, covering my body with the warm tan blanket that I loved. They walked to the window and closed the curtains, before walking back to me and giving me a small kiss on the forehead.

I smiled, as I heard them sing a soft melody. I closed my eyes and cuddled up to the blanket. I fell asleep, listening to the gentle singing of my guardian.
