🌈Lost🌈
I jumped off the swingset and ran over the grass, looking back every once in a while, to make sure my mother was still there. I looked at my older brother, who was running around and playing too. I giggled and slid down the slide. As soon as I got down, I heard my mother calling me.
Sissy, Brother, come on! It's time to go home!
I whined, upset that I had to go. I walked over, calling out to my mom.
"Mama, I wanna play for a while longer!"
I spoke, stomping one foot, upset. My brother walked past me and looked back at me.
If you don't hurry up, we're gonna leave you here!
I started shaking as I ran to the car. I tried to go quickly, but it felt like the concrete road was caving in on me. I cried as I brushed my fingertips on the car, then fell in the hole. My screams echoed throughout the free fall. Tears ran up my face and I was crying very loudly. I fell for what felt like hours.
Goodbye Clowny!
We're the words that I heard echo throughout the fall. I sobbed as they kept repeating and repeating, clogging my mind and making me cry more and more until there were no more tears left. I was kicking and crying, begging God to let me back up to my family again.
Clowny...Sweetie, please wake up, you're having a bad dream...
My guardian gently was nudging me, speaking softly, trying to wake me. I coughed, and sobbed, as I looked at them. I was in my stroller, and we were at the park. They unclipped the seatbelt and freed me. But I didn't stand.
Dear? Aren't you going to go play? We have the park all to ourselves today...
They told me, rubbing my arm. I hugged their hand and looked at them.
"W...Would you leave me...Alone...?"
I sobbed and talked to them, barely getting words out. They wiped my tears and looked into my eyes.
Never. You're my little angel. I would rather die than have you lost.
