37. Caught in a Storm
{Namimori, Japan}
Yucca's smile twitched slightly, eyebrows knitted, he disdainfully starred at the blond in front of him. Although the intel he collected on the male was reliable, he didn't expect him to be so... clumsy.
No, clumsy wasn't enough to describe the usually goofy looking Don. No word could and Yucca found himself confused as to whether he should respect the man for it or mock him instead. Even though he, himself was pitiful at times in his past life, he didn't think someone just as pitiable would appear in his new one.
He sighed, gently combing his white locks, his blue eyes flickered to his battle watch where the remaining time for the battle was displayed. He didn't have the time to play around with the Don in front of him, he had to hunt the Boss-watches bearers quick.
Dodging another curvy and rather weak and unfocused whip attack, the guardian let a disappointed sigh escape his lips. If at least he was a cute girl with huge bossoms, although he would have wanted to puke, his eyes at least would be salvaged. But now, to see Dino tangled in his own whip as if the two of them were engaged in some bondage activity... it wasn't exciting at all. They weren't in this type of relationship.
Heaving another sigh, the white head decided to close his eyes a few seconds, cutting all of the blond's cries off before opening them once more, his perfectly fake smile adorning his innocent mask. "Well, then Dino-sensei," he paused, smile turning into a smirk as he refrained himself from mocking the blond any further. "I will be taking my leave first, do not forget to go home," he reminded, turning around before shutting the door. Pulling a "do not disturb" sign out of nowhere he placed it on the handle.
Now to find some of the teens, his eyes glinted a deep purple, small orange particles hidden underneath the deep violet color.
BOOM!
Following the explosions will be a good start.

"Your team is full of people I really want to bite to death," Hibari stated, a smirk on his face as his grey eyes eagerly stared at his preys. Taking part in this representative battle or whatever it was called definitely was a great idea.
So many annoying herbivores, carnivores-wannabe and ferocious opponent to bite to death, his eyes glinted in anticipation as he refrained the excited shiver from running down his spine. He couldn't wait for his hunt, fighting the strong baby only came as a bonus.
"Now, who will I bite to death next?" he taunted, eyes flickering from Hayato's to Takeshi's figure before pausing on one of the two teens his eyebrows knitted before an even more dangerous expression appeared on his face. "Or maybe it will be the carnivore there?" he wondered, eyes never leaving the two teens.
Hayato's scowl deepened. "Tch, what do you mean," he growled, unnerved by his senior's composure, the raven head had taken down their sun counterpart in a matter of seconds after all. He wasn't to be underestimated. Although it pained Gokudera to say it, he had to admit Hibari, out of all the guardians, was the strongest. The statement was unquestionable.
Sensing his comrade's increasing anxiety, Takeshi let some of his rain flames diffuse around him to calm the raging storm. He needed to be cool-headed, calm and collected to join Tsuna as soon as possible. The previous explosion definitely wasn't a good sign, they had to be quick. "Haha, what could you possibly mean, Hibari-senpai?" He questioned, trying to lessen the tension.
Not bothering to answer the teens, Hibari straightened his posture a bit. His hands gently twirled his tonfas in a seemingly rhythmic way under the tensed teens eyes before abruptly stopping. Absolute silence.
Click. The sound of his tonfas mechanism being activated echoed as the storm and rain guardians' hold on their weapon hardened. In one swift movement, Hibari's tonfa went crashing against his beloved school's wall.
The small cloud of smoke settled leaving only rubbles. "Hn," dismissing the matter entirely as if it was never here, Hibari went to charge at the two guardians. "I'll bite you to death later," he whispered before clashing with Reborn's representatives.

From where he stood, Yucca overlooked Hibari's wild display of strength. Was the teen this violent when they last fought he wondered, eyes narrowed in a contemplative manner, he thought about possibly challenging Kyoya for his Boss-watch instead of fighting against either Tsunayoshi or Enma.
The more Yucca thought about the possibility, the more he found himself agreeing with it. Hibari was a good fighter, not that the other two weren't, but out of them he definitely was the most similar to the enemy he sometimes encountered in the underground.
Whatsmore from the last text Lussuria sent him, Enma already was on their agenda. It wouldn't be a surprise if the Varia had already pummeled the gravity manipulating Boss. It pained him a bit when he imagined the teen's current state and how he let him walk into the wolf den this way. Then again, the mafia world was ruthless, someone wouldn't always be here to have his back. It was an excellent opportunity for the Simon Boss to learn. Anyway, worst-case scenario, Enma would go to the hospital... probably.
He shook his head, better not think about it or his inner teacher would resurface and go rushing to the boy's aid.
Now, as for Tsunayoshi, he most probably was linked to the big explosion he heard at the beginning. Even though he wasn't there to see it himself, Yucca's gut told him the opponent was a strong and familiar one, the flame coming from the explosion only confirmed his speculation. His senses tingled, and the sky flame's remnant from the original vessel entered a resonance state. Was it reacting to the unusually strong sky flame? Most probably.
The guardian didn't need any more hint to know who the mysterious attacker was. Only Iemitsu Sawada was strong and familiar enough to provoke this type of feelings within him.
The white head shrugged the CEDEF's Boss' presence off, he had better things to do than to meddle into their father and son business.
Exhaling Yucca took in his surrounding. Below him were the four Vongola guardians, three which belonged to Reborn's team with one of them already beaten and one who fought as the storm Arcobaleno's representative.
Currently resting atop of a tree, not far from the one Fon nested himself, Yucca leaned against its trunk. Observing how the teens fought to gauge their progress, he suddenly felt himself being stared at. Ignoring it at first since it didn't seem offensive, the insistence the observer was displaying started to unnerve him, what's more, the killing intent aimed at him seemed to be growing, in a dangerous way.
Letting his hand travel to his belt Yucca's blue eyes flickered upright to meet with pitch-black ones. The two stared at one another mutely, taking in the other's appearance, probing their stature and possible ability before both broke into a perfectly fake smile and greeted one another. Yucca with a polite nod of his head while the martial artist gave the white head a respectful bow.
As if the perfunctory greeting didn't happen, both males suddenly took their leave from the battleground. The only proof of their presence before being the branch Yucca rested on being entirely destroyed. From the result, one could easily deduce a fist or pipe was responsible for the impact. It was clear how powerful the one who left the tree in such a state was.
As he ran, Yucca's mind went a mile a second. Although he had understood from his brief exchange with Mammon and Reborn that he had more than offended the Arcobalenos in the future, he didn't expect the first one he met to jump at him with the intent to kill. Or so it seemed from where he was. As he tried to focus on his surrounding, Yucca tried to sense the storm's presence. He knew the other had followed him and he was sure he still was judging from the makeshift weapons that were regularly thrown at him. And here he thought this Arcobaleno looked calm and composed in every situation, guess he shouldn't have judged the book by its cover.
Ducking once more, Yucca dived to the right, into a glass window and right into an unoccupied classroom. Rolling, he swiftly stood up before resuming his run. He needed to find an empty place where no one was fighting and where he could seize the Arcobaleno. Had it been an enemy "his size," a classroom would have been more than enough, but with the Arcobaleno's size, it was more of a disadvantage to have obstacles in his sight. A place devoid of furniture, the single spot he thought of was the rooftop. Not a second after he made his mind, he rushed up the stairs, the quick pitter-patter of the storm behind him accompanying his every move.
The door to the rooftop slammed open and, at last, Yucca came to a halt. His breathing slightly unregular from all the turns he had to take to evade walls and the like and the useless acceleration he sometimes executed as a precaution had put a minor almost unnoticeable strain to his body. Regulating his breathing, he passed his left hand in his white locks, gently combing them as to make himself more presentable before straightening his navy blue suit for it to have fewer wrinkles. Satisfied, he took his glasses off before putting them away in his blazer's inner pocket.
Not even a second later, Fon's figure appeared in front of him. The martial artist's form was as composed as when he first saw it, on the branch a minute before. The baby appearance was flawless, and Yucca had to admit he felt a bit apprehensive when he saw the other seem completely undisturbed as a mysterious grin adorned his face.
Yucca wasn't used to the feeling of other people dominating him or intimidating him, much less with a smile. And for the first time in his current life, Yucca felt a sense of fear rise within him. It was different from the one he felt when he understood his past students, and his past life as a whole existed in this place. It felt more physical and less psychologically straining. As if his body screamed for him to get away while the pressure exerted on his mind refrained him from doing so. A chill like none other before traveled down his spine.
The white head hadn't received any memories about his encounter with the Arcobalenos, none which were concrete enough for him to learn something out of them. His eyes narrowed slightly in apprehension, making the smaller male's smile widen. Oh how Yucca hated the feeling of being toyed with.
"Pleased to meet you. I am Feng, but most people call me Fon," the Arcobaleno introduced with a smile as he gave the white head a small bow. "I assume you are Yucca, from the Varia, am I wrong?" He rhetorically asked as his black eyes stared straight into Yucca's blue ones.
Silently exhaling, Yucca relaxed his shoulder a bit, letting some of the tension in his body subside. "I am," he nodded, his business smile back in place as if his troubled expression never was there. His voice was as cheery as usual, not betraying the fear which began to build up inside of his stomach. "What can I help you with, Fon?"
The Arcobaleno gave an unperceivable nod, seemingly satisfied with the younger's answer. "Although it is not a habit of mine, I would like to ask you for a spare," the raven head demanded with another bow before straightening and gazing at the taller man. "So, will you entertain your senior?" The Arcobaleno asked, amusement in his voice.
Yucca's smile unnoticeably stiffened before almost immediately going back to its usual mildness. He was about to decline, using the representative battle as an excuse when Fon spoke up once more, preventing the cloud from answering his previous question.
"Do not worry about the representative battle," the storm interrupted. "After all, if we follow the rules, I, like you, am part of it," he reminded, raising the arm which wore his Arcobaleno watch. "Therefore, us fighting wouldn't go against your mission, would it?" He finished with a grin as he tilted his head to the side.
Yucca frowned, dropping his smile and the fake air around him he sighed. The request from the Arcobaleno was more of a warning from the later to tell him he would engage in battle with him. "Well, then if I must," he answered a wry defeated smile on his face as he stared at the martial artist.
Fon hummed in satisfaction, letting his hand fall to his side, his changshan's red sleeves fluttered slightly before peacefully lying by his side. Adopting an offensive stance, Fon sent the could a questioning look, "Shall we begin?"
Yucca nodded, closing his eyes he snapped them open. A purplish light with specks of orange flashed through his light blue orbs before dimming. Exhaling, he gently flickered his wrist, letting one of his daggers out. "Then, thank you for your time," Yucca answered, his voice polite and even. The aura around him much like Fon's one had shifted to a more ruthless and battle appropriate one. Although, if both had to be honest, they didn't plan on showing the other all of their skills, not yet at least.
