When I passed by that old bridge,
my heart swelled with anticipation.

But...  I also felt a hint of doubt.

There's no way he would be here, I thought.

Absolutely no chance.

The odds of us meeting in the same place 

at the same time was relatively low.

And yet,

when I reached the spot 

where we first talked yesterday...

                                                   There he was.

Sitting down in a daze.
His knees in front
and his hands planted behind him,
supporting the weight of his body.

Upon seeing this,
the faint beats in my heart grew louder.
