I opened my RINE app and typed in the ID.

The first person to pop up in the search results 

had a red cloud as the profile pic.

This must be it...

A spark of anxiety swelled within my heart,

as my fingers hovered precariously over the "add friend" button.

Will he know if it's me?

What do I do if it's the wrong person?

But he couldn't possibly be clumsy enough to give me the wrong ID, right?

I zoomed in on the profile pic of the cloud

to check for possible clues.

Okay,

there has to be hint somewhere...

Besides the cloud,

I could find nothing else.

Ah, whatever.

I'll just do it.

I clicked the button...

and waited...

and waited...

and waited...

Five minutes passed...

Ten...

Fifteen...

"Maybe it's the wrong person after al-"

...ping!

Gah!

Alarmed by the unexpected noise after a long period of no response,

I chucked my phone across my bed.

It landed with a soft thud, 

muted by a downy clutter of blankets.

Still unsure about what I had just heard,

I prodded at my phone as if it was a dangerous object waiting to detonate.

Another 'ping! 'resounded in the room.

I flipped my phone over to look at the messages.
