Annelise POV

Breath Ann, Breath
I thought to myself and looked up at my new school. Gripping the straps of my backpack, I took slow steps on the pavement. I reached the stairs as climbed up them, feeling a presence of eyes laying on me. I gulped quietly and went inside.
Everything was ok I guess, but this school was huge.
You'd find rich people's kids go here, but me? My mother worked herself for me to attend this high school. The tuition is really expensive. So to repay her, it's my turn to work hard and earn a college degree.

I was so dozed in my thoughts, I didn't realize that crowds of students were now everywhere.  I shook my head and continued to the office.
I made my way through thick crowds,
How can they possibly have this much rich kids in one huge school, that has hallways as big as three auditoriums?!

I spotted the office and sped up towards it. I gave two knocks, there was a speaker next to the door.

"Who's there" a feminine voice from the circular speaker said.

"New student, Annelise Miston Cardwell?" I tried to make an impression, I don't know how to went.

"Come in" I heard a beep and saw a light above the door turn red to green.

I also heard the door click. I turned the door knob with my nearly sweaty palms and entered the office.
The principal's office was like the size of a classroom and a half!

"M-Mrs. Shei" I stuttered

"New? Alright, you may sit down" she drew her brown eyes to a seat in front of her desk. I nodded and sat.

"Annelise Miston Cardwell you say?" She asked, still looking up at her computer.

"Yes, ma'am"

She gave a hum that indicated "ok"
I waited patiently as she gracefully typed.

She got up  "here," she handed me a packet that consists of 4 papers stapled together at the top left corner.

"Your schedule with the classes on the last page, directory and rules in the middle two pages, and locker number with he other information you need to know on the front."
She explained.

I nodded
"Thank you" I replied.

She nodded and smiled,

"Good luck"

I have a small smile back.
I heard the same process as she clicked something on her remote.

I turned the knob of the door and headed out. There were still the crowds of teens, so I sighed in relief that i wouldn't be late. I looked at my schedule.

My homeroom class started at 8:30, I looked at my watch, it was 8:20. It gave enough time for me to try and find my class, I know it would take long.

I walked peacefully and carefully as I could, but of course ended up bumping into someone.

"EY YA DOUCHE" A wretched sound of a male snapped.

"Sorry!" I apologized and speed walked away.

Then I bumped into another person..
"Ow! Hey I'm sor--"

I scurried away, not caring anymore.

Well jeez, I'm already crashing into people why not end up kissing a hot guy?!
