[Tuesday, August 15]

After what seemed like for not so long, it was time for the classes to switch.

The third graders looked around to see their friends who they didn't have classes with.

Koopana and Katherine waved to KT as Jace and Jack waved to Sammy.

Aerois waved to Cookie, Sammy, and Alissa, whom waved back.

"Alright kids, that'll be enough waving," said Ms. Kasey,"We have a class to start."

Ms. Kasey's other class walked into the room and sat in random seats, not knowing they had a seating chart.

Sitting down, Cookie talked with KT again. Ms. Kasey rang a little bell to get the kids attention.

"Alright, I have a seating chart for you."

The class groaned.

"Shh, that's enough. Four of you at each table if you're wondering. Let's start... KT, Isabella, and Arnold."

KT shrugged and waved to Cookie before she went to her assigned table.

"Jace, Mack, Maryland, and Patrick."

Jace went over to his table, but glanced at Jack as he sat down.

"Olivia, Carol, Cookie, and Jack."

Cookie's face went bright red once she realized that she would be sitting with Jack. Jack froze for a minute but then quickly floated to his seat.

"H-hey Jack..." She whispered.

Jack didn't look at her, just stared at his hands,"Hi Cookie..."

Cookie glanced at her best friend, who was already making kissy faces. Cookie narrowed her eyes and payed attention to the teacher, but couldn't help herself stop the burning sensation on her face.

Sammy watched Tanai and Izzy talk.

Izzy, that's a pretty name... He thought.

He then soon realized that he had been staring at Izzy for a while now, and proceeded to look at his notebook.

Izzy luckily didn't notice the stares, but she could somehow feel his eyes glued to her.

"I hope this class goes by quick." Izzy told Tanai,"Even better, the school year."

"Oh cmon Izzy, you gotta at least find something enjoyable about school." Tanai grinned.

"The only thing enjoyable is that I get to hang out with you. That's it." Izzy muttered.

Tanai giggled and glanced at Sammy,"Do you like school Sammy?"

Sammy looked up from his notebook,"Huh? Uh... sorta. Why?"

Izzy rolled her eyes,"At least someone kinda agrees with me."

Sammy did a small smile and went back to his notebook, glancing at the Sprixie with the pretty name once in a while...
