Chapter 47
Enjoy!

Mystery lay down on her bed, looking up at the ceiling. Her adopted parents were downstairs doing some papers, so she didn't have anything to do.
Except for homework, that is.
She took out her folder from the backpack and searched for her reading homework. Math and writing didn't give anything that day.
She then floated over to her desk, sat down, and began to read the paragraph to answer the five questions after it.
"Mystery!"
Mystery's head jerked up after being so into the paragraph. She quickly floated out of her room and across the hall to the living room.
Her mother was sitting on the carpet, her head resting on the couch,"Darling, can you get me a glass of milk?"
"Mom... you should take a break."
"No no sweetie. I gotta finish these..." Her mother glanced at the stack of papers she had to grade. She was a history teacher at Super Cat Bell Middle.
"What is that?" Mystery pointed to a map.
"Oh! I had my kids color a map that showed what Sarasaland traded with the Mushroom Kingdom a long time ago..."
Mystery read the list of the items,"They took horses?"
"You'll learn once you go to eighth grade." Her mother smiled.
Mystery vanished and appeared a couple of feet away from the fridge. Her vanishing skills were getting better. Soon she'd be able to vanish far distances.
Maybe I can vanish to Sarasaland! Don't get too ahead of yourself Natalie...
She took out the milk and poured a glass. Once again, she vanished back to the living room to find her mother sleeping on the papers. Mystery placed her mother on the couch and vanished back to her room.

"You gotta work harder Mario. I expect better from you." Mr. Mario told his eldest son.
Mario mumbled,"Violet distracts me."
"Even if she distracts you, you have a room. Lock the door! Don't use your sister as an excuse!"
Mario glared at Violet who rolled her eyes at him. Mario then looked back at his father who stared at him deeply.
"Alright. Enough with that." Mr. Mario stood up from the table and then told Luigi,"Don't think you're off the hook either young man."
Luigi gulped. Now he glared at Violet. Violet didn't get in trouble for anything. She was doing well in her class.
Mrs. Mario then sighed,"Alright. The three of you can go on now. It's Friday, do whatever. Just don't stay up too late."
"Yes Mama." The triplets said in unison.
As they went up the stairs, Mario pushed the little one, almost making her tumble backwards.
"What'd I do? Not my fault you two are failing." She whispered.
"Oh shut up," Mario hissed,"You never get in trouble."
"That one time you blamed me for—"
"Stop the arguing!" Their mother yelled.
The three of them scurried to their respective rooms, well, just Violet. The Bros. went to Luigi's room to play some video games.
They never included Violet.
But she wasn't sad, because she had someone to play with.
'Hello Violet.' Positive nuzzled Vi's cheek.
Violet giggled and closed the door,"Hi Posy!"
Positive sat on her bed,'So what are we going to do today?'
"I don't know... my brothers got in trouble because they're not doing well in school. And they tried to blame it on me!"
Positive sighed,'Siblings do that.'
"But they do it a lot! Like every bad thing they do they say it's my fault! It's no fair. Sometimes I get in trouble, sometimes I don't."
A tint blue appeared on Positive. Violet only noticed it a little, but didn't understand what it meant at the time.
"Anyway, let's play... Chutes and Ladders!"
Positive nodded, the tint of blue being replaced by the color of pure white.
