It was finally Friday, the day of the field trip. The Kindergarteners and Second graders were full of excitement for their field trip.

"Alright alright everyone! Settle down!" The Assistant Principal yelled into the mic,"Give your teachers your permission slips please."

The kids began to look through their backpacks. Liz found the permission slip, only to see it was her sister's. Izzy had the same result as well. They went around the cafeteria until they found each other.

"Mr. Gerard must've switched them by accident!" Liz said.

"I just hope he doesn't do that again. Here take it, and gimme mine." Izzy demanded.

"Alright alright!" Liz handed Izzy the correct permission slip, whom snatched it and went away.

Liz giggled and went back to her class, giving her teacher the paper. She sat down with her friends.

"Did you find it?" Katherine asked.

"Yeah! My sister had it, like I had hers." Liz smiled.

"Good! I don't want you to be left out!" Koopana said.

KT nodded,"Yeah! You'd miss out on all the fun. And so would've your sister!"

Liz nodded.

At Mrs. Stacy's table, Izzy sat down next to Tanai. Tanai had brought a bigger water bottle than usual.

"That's huge..." Izzy said.

"It'll probably be super hot when we get there, and I don't want to over sweat." Tanai smiled.

Izzy nodded, I should've thought the same... But I brought myself soda.

The buses then arrived outside. One for the Kindergarteners and two for the Second Graders. Everyone made sure they sat next to their friends.

"Katherine, over here!" KT yelled.

Katherine quickly floated over to KT, Koopana, and Liz. They were in the back-back so they would sit together. Katherine took a seat next to Liz.

"This is gonna be so exciting!" Liz squealed. Koopana nodded,"Definitely! But we should be careful."

"No animals are gonna harm us, I'm sure of it." KT smirked. Katherine nodded in agreement.

At the front of the bus sat Mosie, Cookie, and Violet. Mosie was listening to music from her little iPod, Cookie had brought a coloring book for her entertainment, Violet brought herself nothing to entertain herself.

Violet was on the window seat, so she stared outside. She began to think about her brothers, which made her anger rise. She then caught a glimpse of something black, it sped by the bus.

Can't be a car... Cars don't go that fast... She thought.

I think this chapter is short... Well it ended up being 431 words... Pretty long right?
