"Lily, is Jungkook ready? We will be there in like fifteen minutes."

Doyoung asked through the Bluetooth speaker of his car, driving to Lily's apartment to pick Jungkook up for Soobin's performance today. It is finally the day of Soobin's college festival and his performance to which he invited all of them so enthusiastically to. Lily had made it clear she had no intention of going. But Jungkook, Doyoung and Gaeul were totally going. It was decided from the get go. Lily had also said that no one can pressure her into going there. They all agreed.

"Yeah, he seems to be almost ready,"Came Lily's reply.

"Cool,"Doyoung said,"Did you change your mind? Are you really not going?"

"Really? Doyoung? This again? Really? How many times have I told you I'm not going? There's no point of talking about it over and over again."

Doyoung frowned. This is unlike Lily. She never starts a rant suddenly like this when the answer could easily be given by a single 'yes' or 'no'. And he really didn't ask something so triggering that she would have to start a little rant on him.

"Oh..okay..I guess..tell Jungkook that.."

"Ugh! You know what? Fine, are you happy now? As you're insisting so damn much...I guess I will come for like ten minutes. Not more than that though. Okay?"

Doyoung frowned.

What the fuck?

"Wha.."

"Bye. See you in fifteen, you manipulative jerk."

"Okay?"

She hung up. Doyoung looked at his side where Gaeul was sitting with his seatbelt fastened tightly, smiling widely at the conversation he just heard.

"Lily noona is really weird, isn't she?"Doyoung asked the little one, returning a smile.

"And really cute too!"Gaeul said, his smile spreading wider. That made Doyoung chuckle at the irony of the Lilith having a cute side to her.

Another person who had a wide smile on his face was none other than Jungkook looking at Lily through the mirror, pacing back and forth in the room behind him. She had just gotten off the phone with Doyoung who 'begged' her to come along to Soobin's performance.

Oh dear lord, she's so bad at acting.

It is clear that no one begged her to go there. She herself is dying to go and see her little brother perform. But she had been so stern in front of Jungkook and Doyoung about not going there under any circumstances, that she felt embarrassed changing her decision. This whole week she had been going on and on about her usual stuff, how she can't tangle Soobin's life with him and her regular shenanigans. There's no way she can slither her way in without pulling something like this. Jungkook fore sure knows there's no way Doyoung insisted her to come because she himself has decided to not cross any more lines and let Lily do what she wants. Lily is pretending that Doyoung is insisting her so she gets less embarrassed about it in front of Jungkook and even herself.

"See? How annoying Doyoung is? Ugh..people are so annoying..I guess I have not choice but to go to that childish festival thingy ugh.."

The amounts of times she said 'ugh' is ridiculous. It sounds even more ridiculous in her flat, monotonous voice.

"Yeah..I guess we can't help it," Jungkook said, playing along with her little act,"Shouldn't you do and get ready then?"

"That I should. Ugh."

Jungkook smirked as he saw her walk towards the dresser to pick out her clothes. Jungkook frowned when he saw her pick out her usual black hoodie and black slacks through the mirror. He turned around frowning,"You are going to wear that?"

Lily frowned at his tone of strong disapproval,"What's wrong with these? As far as I'm concerned these are the most normal pieces of clothing ever."

"Yeah. They are. But not when you wear them. You do realize that you are not going there to murder anyone, right?"

"Or am I?"Lily smirked.

Jungkook totally didn't like the joke. His frown got deeper.

"Listen, when you wear these you just give off a wrong aura. You really do look like a murderer."

"Ironic?"Lily chuckled.

Jungkook shook his head again with strong disapproval,"I'm not letting you wear that. The last thing I want in that event is for people to freak out seeing you. Wear something light.."

Jungkook sighed as soon as the words left his mouth. The only 'light' clothing Lily has is one, singular gray hoodie that is not even hers. They had bought it for Jungkook and now she has 'borrowed' it from him. There's no sign of her wanting to return it.

"Light colors make me look like a zoombie and I absolutely hate them. I'm not a child,"Lily replied,"And light colors look so weird and stupid...like what you're looking like now. Absolutely disgusting."

At Lily's words Jungkook looked down at the light blue hoodie he was wearing. He totally forgot about it. This is a hoodie that Doyoung gave him a few days ago. He had apparently went shopping for himself and bought two hoodies for Jungkook because he believed Jungkook could use some colors in his closet. Jungkook really appreciated the action. Jungkook saved the blue hoodie to wear it today. Jungkook had totally forgotten about the other hoodie Doyoung had given him. Idea hit his head like a lightening and Jungkook looked up from his hoodie towards Lily with a big smirk on his face.

Lily immediately understood what he was planning and stepped back,"Don't even think.."

Jungkook kept smirking looking at Lily as if she were his prey. Already excited about his plan.

Perfect.

Doyoung's eyes went incredibly wide when he saw Lily, his best friend, get into the back seat of his car with a pastel yellow hoodie with a cute puppy printed on the front. Doyoung was so shocked he had to physically turn his upper body to the back of the car where Lily was sitting and do a double take to make sure what he saw was right.

He was right. She really was wearing the yellow hoodie he bought Jungkook the other day. Lily was being swallowed by the oversized hoodie. She had her hands in the pocket of the hoodie and a very unamused expression her face.

Doyoung's jaw dropped. This is the most colorful clothes he has seen on Lily in the last ten years. It was such a different sight to see from her regular black or white....well mostly black clothes. 

Lily frowned seeing him looking at her like that,"Are you seeing me for the first time, you assho.."

"No cursing in front of Gaeul!"Jungkook shouted.

Doyoung had failed to notice Jungkook get in the car beside her and slamming the car door. Jungkook was now sitting directly behind Doyoung. Doyoung turned his head to see Jungkook who was wearing the sky blue hoodie with almost the same print at the front. His eyes were screaming at Jungkook 'how did you make her wear that'?

Jungkook smirked as if he read his mind,"I have my ways."

Doyoung shook his head and looked back at Lily,"You look really...different?"

"Shut up, its all your fault,"Lily said while looking out the window,"Shall we go now?"

Before Doyoung could start the car, Gaeul turned around and told Lily,"Noona, you look really good!"

"..thank you?"

Gaeul was satisfied when he heard that and he turned to Jungkook,"Hyung, you look really good too!"

Jungkook scrunched his nose affectionately and patted Gaeul's head,"You too, little man. Are you excited for Soobin hyung's performance today?"

Gaeul nodded excitedly,"Yes!"

"Then shall we go?" Jungkook asked.

"Go we shall,"Doyoung said,"Gaeulie, sit properly! And now let's go."

'Chungang University' is one of the biggest universities of Korea. So many youths gets admitted here to fulfill their dreams. So full of life, so much hope for the future. This place was bustling with life as it was the event for the universities twentieth anniversary. They were holding a huge event in the university. The huge university field was filled with shops by the students, so many more different attractions were built. Art students were drawing portraits of people for only twenty bucks, food stalls were there, attractive photo booths were created and so much more. In the middle there was a huge stage which was currently empty because the main event hadn't started yet.

"Woah, I feel young again,"Doyoung said amazed by the liveliness of the whole university. Friends were hugging each other, clicking photos, couples were walking hand in hand, all insanely excited.

"Doyoung, you're in mid twenties, stop acting like you're ninety two,"Lily said and looked at Doyoung. She immediately stopped when she saw his face, hiding the tiniest bit of sadness under his smile. She knows how much he wanted to attend college, how much he wanted to experience this, learn these things, have normal friendships. Of course, she knows it the best even though he tries to hide it so much.

Lily suddenly felt a tug at her heart, she sighed and quickly tried to think about something to make the situation better,"Hey, there's still time for Soobin's performance right?"

"Yeah.."Jungkook looked at his watch. It's 6 currently. The sun is almost about to set,"About forty minutes? Soobin told us to look around as he will be busy before the performance."

"So we shall look around, shall we not? Doyoung-ah, there's a corn dog stall, you like them, right?"Lily asked,"Let's go there. Then we can go do whatever y'all like.. I guess.."

Doyoung smiled knowing what she was doing. Trying to distract him from sorrow,"Yes, let's go. Gaeul also likes corn dogs, let's go."

Thirty minutes went away fairly quickly, quicker than any of them liked. They ate, clicked a few pictures, bought a few trinkets and had a ton of fun. Doyoung really liked feeling youthful and happy around people around his age. He barely gets a chance to do these. Gaeul liked everything and was very easy to entertain. Jungkook always liked observing people, hence crowded places were always his favorite. He was having a lot of fun spending the time, doing fun things with the people he was closest with. Lily would never admit it. She normally dislikes crowded places, only prefers them when she has to stalk someone and can hide in the crowd. But today she was pleased seeing Jungkook, Doyoung and Gaeul have huge smile plastered on their faces, full of glee and happiness. She pretended like she was unbothered though. As always.

Doyoung suggested that they go and stand in front of the stage right now if they want to be at a good place to actually be able to see Soobin's face from the crowd. Jungkook was a bit sad though, because they still had so much to explore, so many stalls to visit, so much to see. But Doyoung told him that they would be do that after Soobin's performance. Now going towards the stage was important.

Doyoung's call was right. The stage already had a big crowd in front of it. If they were more late, it would be bad. The four of them were standing side by side. They were not the farthest from the crowd but not at the very back either. They were at the middle. They could still see the stage fairly well from here. They could hear chitter chatter of the people around them talking about how excited they are about TXT aka Soobin's band's performance. People even had banners and signs up with Soobin and other band mates' name. The crowd was getting bigger and bigger with every second.

"Damn, I didn't realize our Soobin would be this famous!" Doyoung said.

"He might even become a kpop idol at this rate,"Jungkook said.

Lily was looking around the crowd, feeling a sense of pride about her brother. But then her eyes fell on something, or rather someone. Committing a very disgusting action. Lily frowned and looked around. How come no one's seeing this?

There was a guy harassing a girl by trying to take pictures up her skirt at the very corner of the crowd. She was visibly uncomfortable by how close he was to her, it's not clear if she understood what his intentions yet. But he was totally coming on to her. At one point she felt so uncomfortable by that guy, she walked out of the crowd and towards the back of the university. Lily shook her head. This was a bad move. The people were mainly here, that means the back of the university would be pretty empty. And he was following her. It could be pretty dangerous. Lily bit her lip.

Why do I always happen to see this shit?

Right then the announcer came up to the stage, officially starting the live event, everyone cheered when he got on stage. Lily's teeth dug deeper into her lips. Soobin's performance may start any minute now. Does she want to miss it? And it's not like she's a hero or something. She makes money by killing people. She's not a hero. She's not a social worker. She's not..

Ugh.

Its all Jungkook's fault for making me want to do this.

And do I want Soobin to study at a university where perverts are roaming around?

Lily turned to Jungkook and said,"I need to go to the bathroom. I will be back soon."

"What? Soobin's perf.."

"I want to hold it, but I fucking can't and it's all your fault,"Lily said through her gritted teeth, genuinely blaming Jungkook for making her want to do this and pushed her way out of the crowd as quickly as possible leaving Jungkook wondering how her having to go to the bathroom is his fault.

Lily found the girl and the guy very quickly in the parking area. It was otherwise empty. The girl was scared and they guy was full on chasing her. It didn't take Lily long to catch him and be done with him. She also had no time to play around with him, she was in the middle of an important life event right now after all. By the time she was done with him, he was down on the ground with a black eye, bloody nose and twisted arm. His arm was twisted on his back and Lily was holding him down by stepping on him. His phone was now in her hand, and she scrolled through the gallery only to see a tons of inappropriate and illegal pictures of girls taken without their knowledge. There was also a small file of chloroform and a date rape drug found in his pocket. Seems like this scum was planning to go way further than just clicking pictures. Lily is glad she caught him. She totally doesn't want her brother or anyone to be in the same vicinity as this fucker.

The girl was thanking her continuously. She had told the girl to call 911 and she did. The guy was screaming non stop with agony.

Lily stepped on him harder. She was already extremely annoyed as because of this scum she might have to miss her brother's performance to which she came after so much contemplation,"Listen to me you senile fuck, you're lucky that I'm not killing you. If you really don't want to die, shut the fuck up."

His screams made a guard show up. Lily was relived, she quickly removed her leg and handed the guy over to the guard and asked the girl to explain everything and wait till the police arrives. They both agreed. The pervert was too tired and bruised to fight back.

Before leaving Lily looked and said,"Can y'all meet the police outside the uni? I really don't want to ruin my brother's performance because of this asshole."

They both nodded and thought it would be for the best. If thousands of students suddenly listen to police sirens in the middle of an event, it would be bad.

With that Lily ran. Ran towards the stage. But the whole field was full of people now. She was at the very back. There was no way she could go back to where they were. And she can't even see the stage from here. Thankfully the performance didn't start yet but the announced had announced TxT's arrival. Lily sighed. Now there was no way she can actually see Soobin performing live today. She can probably hear his voice singing. But that too barely. She was just to far.

A wash of disappointment flooded through her body and she backed away even more, eventually her back coming to contact with a tree. Why did she waste this opportunity? What was the point? Why does this happen to her?

Oh right, because of freaking humans.

The humans. They can never even spare a day from being absolutely disgusting. The guy..if Lily didn't catch him today..God knows what he might've done. And God knows how many such perverts are hiding in this sea of people. Who knows maybe there are people hiding in this crowd, hiding behind the mask of beautiful youth, big smiles, hopeful eyes, but in secret planning to attack others, hurt others, ruin others? But what can Lily say? That's just what people are. She knows it the best after all.

"These are what humans are, Jungkook. The ones you have so much faith on,"Lily said outloud unintentionally. She was tired.

"Not everyone's like that. The boy up in the stage isn't."

Lily doesn't really get startled. It was one of the basic human reactions she had lost in her childhood. But today Lily got startled hearing Jungkook's voice suddenly come from right beside her. She quickly turned around coming face to face with Jungkook, smiling.

"Why're you so shocked? I told you, I would be right by you if you call my name,"Jungkook said and then took her bruised palm in her hand,"I won't ask what you did and what suddenly got you so sad, but let me tell you once again..not every human being is planning to hurt others. There are actually humans that might restore anyone's faith in humanity. And now it's time to show you a living proof of that. Shall we go?"

"Where?"

"To watch your brother's performance, what else?"

"How? The crowd is crazy..and why did you even come out? You were so excited.."

"Magic, my dear,"Jungkook smiled widely and in a snap of a finger they were back beside Doyoung and Gaeul. Nobody around them noticed anything..surprisingly. Only Doyoung asked,"Where did you two go? Soobin is already on stage!"

Lily was surrounded by so much sadness and disappointment a few moments ago. But now being in a crowd that is cheering heavily for her brother, being with the three closest people of her life and holding Jungkook's hand..a wave of pure bliss washed over Lily's entire form. She didn't know such feeling existed. Her heart was pounding against her chest. She felt like everything was happening in slow motion. She was so sure she was going to miss the performance. Her happiness doubled when Soobin spotted her in the crowd and displayed the biggest, brightest smile anyone could ever show. His smile not only caused her to be happy, but so many people screamed when he did that.

Jungkook squeezed her hand and whispered,"Here, is the living proof of a person that can restore anyone's faith in humanity."

Lily couldn't reply. Didn't want to reply. She just wanted to savor this moment. Another feeling she felt for the first time in her life.

The music started. Soobin was in the center of the stage with his guitar. His bandmates around him with different instruments. The music resonated through the crowd, through everyone's heart. It really felt unreal. At least to Lily of course. Her heart started beating quicker with every rhythm of the drum.

Soobin started singing. Filling everyone's hearts with happiness, peace and tranquility.

"The Milky Way in front our eyes, feel like our summer.
If we are together no matter where we are still, feel like summer."

"Oh my dear God, Soobin, you tore it up!"Doyoung exclaimed.

TxT had finished performing about twenty minutes ago. They performed three songs in total and it was crazy. Everything was crazy. The crowd was soaring. It felt like a real concert. Now some other acts are being performed on the stage. The crowd wasn't as intense as before. Soobin texted them and told them to head towards the back of the stage where Soobin was. They managed to get out of the crowd and head here. There aren't many people here. Mostly performers getting ready for their performance.

As soon as they came backstage and spotted Soobin Doyoung started going on and on about their lingering performance and how amazing it was and how he couldn't believe it. Lily also still had lingering feelings left from twenty minutes ago. Those three songs felt like a dream to her. Her whole world was spinning. That three songs duration took her to a whole new world. That was so much different from the world of darkness and pain she resides in.

"Really?"Soobin asked, shyly rubbing his hair.

"Hell Yeah..your sister almost cried!"Jungkook exclaimed.

"I fucking did not, are you insane?"Lily finally broke her silence, throwing death glares Jungkook's way.

That caused Soobin, Doyoung and Gaeul to chuckle.

"She's just embarrassed to admit it, look she was so thrilled, she's still holding on to my hand,"Jungkook raised their intertwined hands to show it to the world. She has been unknowingly holding his hand the whole time.

Lily gave Jungkook the 'bitch-do-you-want-to-die' look and tried to take her hand back. But Jungkook didn't let her. He held on to it and mouthed playfully,"What?"

"Let go, you lunatic,"Lily said once again trying to pull her hand back.

Jungkook just smirked and pulled both of their hands back down.

Soobin smiled seeing this. He looked at Lily and said,"Noona, I was so happy when I saw you in the audience. I really thought you wouldn't come."

"Umm..Yeah..I wasn't going to. But Doyoung begged me to come so.."

"But I didn't.." A death glare from Lily was enough to shut Doyoung up.

Soobin chuckled,"So did you like my performance?"

"It was amazing, Soobin,"Lily said in a low voice but not low enough for Soobin to not hear it.

Soobin was on cloud nine when he heard that,"Thank you, noona!"

"Soobin-ah, are you free now?"Doyoung asked.

"Why?"Soobin asked curiously.

"There are many more things we haven't seen in the university..i was hoping you could give us a little tour,"Doyoung said.

Lily widened her eyes. She tried to dismiss this situation,"He must be busy. Don't you see how famous he is.."

Her plan was a complete fail as Soobin showed his adorable dimpled smile and said,"Yes, I'm completely free. I don't have anything to do."

"Amazing!" Doyoung and Jungkook said simultaneously. Gaeul clapped happily.

"Then let's grab dinner after this as well! Deal?"Soobin asked,"There's a really good restaurant right across my university."

"Deal!"Jungkook said before Lily could do anything. Lily kept glaring Jungkook but he once again just playfully mouthed,"What?"

"You're awfully annoying today,"Lily said.

"Is that why you're still holding my hand?"Jungkook asked after leaning down in front of her ears. Thankfully it went unnoticed by the rest of them because they were talking about the restaurant.

"Hey! Soobin-ah!!" A loud voice came from behind and a pink haired guy jumped on Soobin from behind, putting his arm around Soobin's shoulder and looking at them,"Whatcha doin'?"

Lily identified this guy as a TxT member who was playing guitar by Soobin's side.

"Oh, Yeonjun hyung, are you done keeping the instruments back? Where are the rest of the guys?"Soobin asked.

"Yes, and they're also almost done,"Yeonjun then looked at the rest of them,"And they are?"

Soobin smiled and signed at Lily,"Hyung meet my s.."

"Friend! I'm his friend, Lily. We are all his friends,"Lily quickly said. She didn't miss the slight sadness show up on Soobin's face. But she can't help it. She can't others know that she is related to him.

"Ah! Lily? That's a nice name,"Yeonjun commented and smirked....almost flirtatiously? Or was she wrong?

"I'm Yeonjun. Soobin's friend and the bass player of TxT,"Yeonjun then offered her his hand to shake. Lily was about to shake his hands but then realized Jungkook was still holding her hands. When she tried to get them away, he held them tighter. Lily was confused as to why he still won't let her hands go. Isn't he all about decency and kindness and respect and whatever bullshit? Lily looked up at his face and saw his jaw clenched but he smiled at Yeonjun and offered him his hand instead,"Hi, I'm Jungkook. Very nice to meet you, Yeonjun-sshi."

Lily narrowed her eyes at Jungkook.

What's that in his tone?

Is he..

.....is he by any chance...jealous?

Why is he so childish?

Lily smirked at the realization. Yeonjun quickly got Jungkook's hint and shook his hands instead.

"By the way, do y'all want to meet the rest of my bandmates?"Soobin asked.

"I would love to!"Doyoung said,"They're all so cool."

"Perfect. You'll love them,"Soobin commented,"They'll be here soon. Then I guess we all can go eat together. You guys won't mind right? Noona..is that okay?"

"Umm..I don't.."

As of cue the rest of TxT walked in there the exact moment and Soobin excitedly introduced them to them. Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai. All of them extremely handsome, down to earth and lots of fun. They could light up anyone's mood in a matter of seconds. Seeing the whole TxT interact with each other was nice. They looked like really good friends. That small mishap aside Yeonjun was also a really fun person. When they heard they were Soobin's friends, they immediately announced them as their friends too. According to their logic, if you're friends with one of them..then you're part of the family. They were completely down to show them around university and then grab dinner later. Even though there were many times Lily tried to get out of the situation she was stuck. For good.

During their visit to the first stall aka the stall of Soobin's department 'Accounting', they ran into a girl. The five of them seemed to know the girl very well.

"Oh, hey guys! Hi, Soobin!"The girl said.

There was something particular about this girl. She was beautiful with long light brown chestnut hair, fair skin, big curious eyes. But another thing was that..Soobin's ears were turning red as soon as he saw her. Lily immediately understood what was happening. She remembered his letter where he stated he had a crush on someone and he doesn't know if she's interested. That 'someone' is definitely her.

Oh yes!

"Hey, Miyeon-ah,"Soobin said,"Meet my friends."

Soobin introduces the four of them to Miyeon. Miyeon smiled kindly at all of them and patted Gaeul's head. The Miyeon told Soobin and the rest of TxT how amazing their performance was. Lily could tell Soobin was dying with shyness.

Freaking adorable.

Soobin then quickly tried to get out of the situation,"Miyeon-ah, I'm showing them around. You must be busy. See you during clas.."

Oh boy not happening.

Lily jumped at her chance,"Miyeon-sshi, if you're not busy, would you like to join us? As you can see I'm the only girl here. It might get lonely."

Soobin widened his eyes, to which Lily smirked. If she can't get out of situations tonight, no one can.

"Really? I can join?"Miyeon asked,"Cause I'm free!"

"Yes, of course you can!"Beomgyu joined in on the fun, earning a 'how-could-you-betray-me' look from Soobin.

"Then I will!"Miyeon answered with a big, beautiful, smile making Soobin's face become red like a tomato.

The rest of night was simply magic. Magical. They got a taste of what youth feels like. So much fun, so much laughter, so much silliness, so much goofiness..just so much. They showed them around the entire campus, they stopped at the stalls, did so much crazy stuff, clicked so many pictures, collected so many memories. It all felt like a good dream. Better than that even.

The restaurant they went to after that, was amazing too. The food was simple but it tasted heavenly. When Lily saw Soobin's friends interact with him, take care of him, it felt amazing. And their care and friendship didn't seem fake. They genuinely loved him. And Miyeon...Lily doesn't know how Soobin thinks she isn't interested in him. She totally is. Her eyes were practically glued on him the whole night. She does have feelings for him but is too shy to admit it. Adorable.

Lily was relieved. It feels nice knowing that Soobin was surrounded by at least some good people. When she was thinking that she could see Jungkook's smile of victory. As if he could just read her mind and was screaming 'See? Told you so?'. But this time Lily didn't feel frustrated. She was pleased. Very pleased that he was right this time.

Doyoung and Gaeul seemed to have a blast. Really nothing could've made this night better.

Well..that's a lie. This night would've been better if literally every girl didn't keep staring at Jungkook, every time he walked around the university. Lily tried to give a hint by putting their intertwined hand in front of them for everyone to see, in case her glaring at every girl that looked at him wasn't hint enough. If looks could kill, those girl would've been destroyed.

Guess...jealousy isn't that childish of a feeling after all.
