They are like the opposite poles of a magnet. The more they try to go away from each other, the closer they get. And when they try to fight the pull, they get in too deep.

Andrew. He hates his job and his life. He hates everything, to put it simply. But if there's one thing/person he despises more than life itself, it's Veronica.

Veronica. A writer and a hopeless romantic. She has always had it difficult. Luck is never on her side. Her life is quite sad. Really. If there's one person who can make her happy, it's Andrew. He doesn't know this. Well, if he knew, Veronica wouldn't be alive.

Two characters. Both cynical and confused out of their minds. Poles apart. But opposites attract, don't they?

"This is wrong, Drew," I say as I try to push him away.

"Well, does it look like I care?" Drew tells me while opening the buttons of my shirt.

"Drew, we need to stop."

I think he didn't quite catch the meaning of 'stop' because he pulls me closer to him. As if that's even possible, considering there's not a centimetre of space between us.

Damn. What are we doing?
