Before I start, I want to thank everyone who joined and everyone who submitted entrees. I got to read some awesome stories that deserve much more publicity. I've gathered them all into a reading list that everyone, including the participants, should read.

I was judging this contest on writing skill, creativity, and originality. I wanted to be amazed by the winners and I assure you, I was.

In third place, a oneshot about one of my favourite ships in the fandom, and one of the most creative ideas for Wings of Fire characters as anything but dragons. Instead of people or cats or anything, they chose Pokémon.

I declare MonsterTommyBoi as the third place winner! I will link their story on my message board.

In second place, another ship oneshot, this time, of a classic. This person took a very simple idea, and used all the writing skills to make it a delight to read. Amazingly written, adorably set, and starring the One and Only Squid-Brain.

And the long awaited first place winner. This person actually joined the contest only a few days away from the deadline. But they still managed to pull out an amazing story. This story reflected one of the first scenes in the first book, and translated into a post apocalyptic robot world.
