Wolf;; IceWing OC

AUTHOR'S NOTE;;
Okay I made a mistake in taking in so many OCs to review I have a life outside of Wattpad what have I done.
Actually I really enjoy this though.
This one was submitted by LoleusFronto !! Thank you for submitting.

BASIC DETAILS;;
------ Name: Wolf.
Nice. It's a pretty common name, but still. Nice.

------ Age: 24.
Cool.

------ Gender: Male.
Still cool.

------ Sexuality: Biromantic homosexual.
Even cooler! Everybody give a cheer for the queer.

------ Tribe: IceWing.
The coolest. Basically subzero. I'm just waiting for someone to understand my IceWing puns. I'm sorry. I really am.

------ Abilities: Frost breath, regular dragon abilities, fairly good fighting skills, flexible and agile.
Nice detail (see, I didn't use the word "cool" this time).

------ Relationship Status: Kinda kinda not boyfriends with Scorpion the SandWing.
Ah, I remember reading about this Scorpion. Very interesting!

------ Occupation: Currently a street singer/storyteller, formerly a soldier, even more formerly a circus member (because why not).
Circus? Interesting! I haven't seen that idea take shape in this fandom yet. I nearly made my OCs into a Pyrrhian circus quite a while ago, but changed my mind at the last minute in favour of pirates. That's very interesting, though - I like it!

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION;;
Whitish blue scales with darker undertones. His horns and underbelly are a sky blue colour (I SPELLED COLOUR WITH THE U ARE YOUR EYES HAPPY THAT THERE ARE NO RED SQUIGGLY LINES).

First thing's first (I'm the realest, drop this and let the whole world feel it), I quite like the detail you've included here. And yes, I love you for your spelling of colour. Australia has conquered. This is a glorious day.

His eyes are a faded denim blue colour.
Guess you could say it's in his genes (jeans).
I NEED TO STOP MAKING PUNS THREE MOONS. This is very good, though - people seem to be forgetting that IceWings can have blue eyes as well as black.

He is a bit taller than the average IceWing and is a bit chubby. Most of his battle scars are on his belly and limbs.
I have never seen a chubby IceWing. I love it!
Nice job with the battle scars too - I can tell you've put thought into that. Good job.

PERSONALITY;;
------ Strengths: He has street smarts as well as book smarts. He is brave but not reckless (most of the time). He knows when's a good time to have fun and muck around. He's outgoing and likes to meet new dragons.
Interesting! I haven't seen a lot of that in an IceWing. But then, if he was raised outside the kingdom, I suppose this does make sense. Good job.

------ Flaws: He is quite vain, when he was in combat he would sometimes go to ridiculous lengths to keep his face away from a fight.
I'm going to stop you right here because I just started giggling. This is so petty and so cute. And also, it's something I would 10/10 do in a fight scenario.

He is slightly ignorant as in the type of person who believes depression is just sadness and that all you need to do is have fun and it'll be gone.
Nice. I haven't seen many people use this trait; as long as you're aware it's a bad thing, go right ahead. And be sure to let people know what you personally do think (especially if you have your OC state his opinion loudly in a story or RP) to avoid conflict/offence.

Sometimes he is overly outgoing and almost getting a little creepy when trying to get to know someone.
Poor child. I used to have this problem.

BACKSTORY;;
A traveler at heart, he was born into a traveling circus troupe that traveled across Pyrrhia. His father was the ringmaster and his mother was an illusionist.
A circus-born dragon? Interesting! I'd love to know how two IceWings ended up in a circus, of all things, but that's a minor detail.

Biologically, he was an only child but the other troupe members may as well have been his siblings, aunts and uncles. During the acts Wolf would often play as the audience member who wasn't in on the trick and would conveniently get picked as an assistant.
Nice. This is definitely something that'd happen in a real circus. So, points for realism.

However when he was three there had been drugs (honestly are there even drugs let alone illegal ones in Pyrrhia) found with the circus. They were accused and found guilty of drug trafficking and sent to prison.
Oh snap, the cops got in. And, remember: Pyrrhia is advanced. The dragons are basically human. There's advanced political hierarchies, trade systems, international conflicts, terrorism and ethical issues concerning discrimination against certain tribes. Cacti can be made into bombs and an entire city of dragons can exist completely hidden in the rainforest canopy. Occasionally, a dragonet will be born with soul-consuming telekinesis powers. I'm pretty sure some sort of drug exists in Pyrrhia.
Hey, there was even one mentioned - in Moon Rising, Kinkajou mentions smokeberries are a rainforest plant that can cause weird hallucinations. Licking dartfrogs is said to have some interesting effects as well; so, that's already two hallucinogens.
So yes. I think drugs could very easily exist in Pyrrhia.
Also, on a side note, creativity points! To my knowledge, nobody's ever mentioned a drug trafficking system in this fandom (yet).
Wow I sound like a role model: "congratulations on taking drugs, kids". I'd just like to add that illicit drugs are in no way right and should not be consumed. They don't make things better. Please look after yourself, children.

Considering Wolf was only a dragonet he was instead sent to a military academy where he was disciplined and trained in the ways of combat.
I like that! It's very realistic. Most people I know would talk about how their OC was tragically tortured in prison. Great job on this. I'd love a bit of extra detail here, though - how he initially reacted to this camp, how he adapted, et cetera.

Once the war began and he was old enough he was sent into the field. In between battles, to keep the morale up, he would sometimes sing a story to his fellow soldiers. Most of the younger soldiers (and some of the older ones) would listen and enjoy his stories. When Wolf sang it was almost as if there wasn't even a war going on and he was just an old grandfather telling stories to entertain his grandchildren.
This is remarkable!
I like it a lot. Singing can lift one's spirits quite a bit. And it makes sense that he'd develop the skill, being from a circus and what-not. It also adds another facet to his persona.

He may have lost friends to the war but he made new ones as time passed.
Once again, d-e-t-a-i-l. You can even mess around here and write a few stories about this! Just for the sake of getting to know him better.

When the war was over he decided to travel across Pyrrhia once again. He sang stories to scrap up a few coins.
Please look up the following words: bard, minstrel, balladeer, troubadour.
Also, thank you for spelling Pyrrhia correctly. I will forever love you.

He later visited Possibility where he met his kinda boyfriend Scorpion. He mostly stays in Possibility as a street singer nowadays.
How they met wouldn't hurt; but then again, that's me picking away for detail.

But his wandering soul can't stay away from traveling. So usually around two days a week he will travel to different cities hitting up the neighbouring pub where has a drink and tells the tales of his life and the tales of many war friends who had not survived to tell it themselves.
I feel like he and Sirocco would get on well. This is all very fascinating! He has a very interesting personality, especially when placed in contrast with his backstory. It all flows pretty cohesively, which is good.

COMMENTS;;
------ The good...
Very interesting character! I'm not sure why, but for some reason, he stood out to me as I read this. You've given him an unusual - but still balanced - personality, and a very interesting backstory. Who wouldn't be intrigued by a drug-trafficking Pyrrhian circus? In fact, it's almost a pity we can't hear more about this circus. It's a great idea - and one I'd seriously consider dabbling about in a story or two.

------ The bad...
Not really much to say here; you can be proud. The only thing I'm really feeling the need to point out is that you could tie his personality and backstory a little bit better together. Maybe talk a bit more about how he developed - what he was like in the circus, how he reacted to being sent to the military camp, whether he misses his parents or not. Has he ever been to see them? Under what circumstances did he meet Scorpion?

------ How you can improve!
As I've said. Just ask more questions. You have an excellent character here.

OVERALL RATING;; 9/10.
Very impressive! Wolf is a very promising character, and looks like he'll come to occupy a very interesting position in future stories, roleplays, drawings etc.

Thanks to everyone for submitting and being so supportive!
