King;; CanyonWing OC

BASIC INFORMATION;;
------ Name: King.
This name always reminds me of the Alpha and Omega villain. Not bad, though. What's a normal CanyonWing name like?

------ Age: 22 when frozen.
Frozen? Interesting.

------ Gender: Male.
I figured.

------ Sexuality: Bisexual aromantic.
Ooo, it's rare that you get an aromantic/allosexual character.

------ Tribe: CanyonWing (extinct ancestor tribe).
Interesting! The idea of ancestor tribes has always intrigued me.

------ Abilities: CanyonWings' fire can melt and shape rocks, but it's an ancient illusion fire that can't hurt a dragon, only scare them (the dragon think they will be burned when the fire actually does nothing).
Hold up - rocks are a lot more resilient than dragon scales. What causes their fire to melt rocks, but not dragon flesh?

Their thick scales and withstand extreme heat and hits.
Makes sense.

Along with small wings for easy passage through canyons, their tails are bigger at the end with a curve, which they use to chisel rocks into statues. A CanyonWing's horns are soft and rounded, not looking like horns at all, and they have ridged claws to hang onto canyon walls.
They sound fascinating!

(Note: a Hybrid CanyonWing has a fatal genetic flaw, because CanyonWing genes were more dominant, it would cancel out abilities and powers, through their skin (no matter what ancient/recent tribe) jagged rock like tumors would pierce, and even along the Hybrids wings.)
If CanyonWing genes are dominant... doesn't that mean they'd override the other tribe's genes and give them all the characteristics of a regular CanyonWing? I'd rather change this to from dominant to incompletely dominant - so, both the CanyonWing genes and the other tribe genes are dominant, so one allele doesn't override the other and the result is a mix of both. That would explain the "rocky" appearance and deformities (which sounds really cool, by the way).

------ Relationship: Single, mostly because he doesn't have time to be in a relationship. Though wanted to start a relationship with his co-leader, Burst.
Sweet.

------ Occupation: King used to be a gang leader before he was frozen, the gang called 'Red Skulls of War. (RSoW)
I like the name! Having a character named King be a leader seems a bit on the nose, but I'll let it slide.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION;;
------ Scale ColOr: Compared to the normal CanyonWing colors (Browns, Yellows, Oranges and Red; Mesa like colors) King was very different. His rounded back ridges are a light gray, along with his claws. His main scales are a off-white while his under belly is a dark gray.
I left ColOr like that because it amused me and at this rate I need as much of that as my stress-fried brain can get. Also, that's very interesting; when making fan tribe OCs, I tend to give them colours typical to their tribe, so people can recognise them easily (e.g. most of my RuneWings are green or brown). Whatever floats your boat, though.

------ Eye color: His eyes are a red pinkish color.
Interesting. How did that come about? Does it affect his vision? (It might make him a bit more sensitive to light).

------ Build: King's build is very muscular, with very defined legs.
Them leggies.

------ Height: Average (Short for any recent tribe, average for CanyonWings).
Short rock dragons!!

------ Extra: He has a left armband with a red goat skull that has many horns on it, symbolizing his gang.
Ooo, cool accessory!

PERSONALITY;;
------ Strengths: Usually wanting to fight alongside his gang that rather stand and watch, King is the brawn of his co-leadership, Burst being a very tactical part of the operation.
I like the brawn/brains dynamic. Burst seems to be pretty significant to him?

------ Weaknesses: King isn't usually the one to talk things out. He is brash and makes rushed decisions.
Alright, I'll buy it. You could expand, though.

BACKSTORY;;
King's life of luxury was short lived, as King was a newly unnamed royal hatchling. He was disowned because of his scales' extremely contrasting colors. (In this town period, having different colored scales than the normal made you a lowly savage. Basically dragon racism I guess).
Oh, that's... nice.

He was abandoned by some of King Streak and Queen Bead's guards at an orphanage, forgotten by the royals. There he eventually learned of the King and Queen and their horrible governing systems as he grew up, and named himself King, as a way to mock them, by naming himself King (like he was a ruler).
I like that irony. Did the orphanage give him any name that he threw away in favour of King? Does he know he's a royal child?

Newly named King met a young Burst, a mainly russet red with some ice blue scales dotted along his frame, and heterochromia eyes.
I think you mean heterochromatic (sorry I'm so pedantic). The russet-and-blue scheme has a nice visual appeal.

Burst was a CanyonWing and GlacierWing (GlacierWing is a WIP name) hybrid, so Burst had rock like tumors growing along his wings, neck, and shoulders.
I would change the name GlacierWing; sounds like a ripoff of IceWings. You could try something a bit less obvious, like SleetWing or FjordWing or PermaWing?

King became friends with the hybrid in the small orphanage because he hated the way he and hybrids were treated, so King stood up for the scrawny, flightless Burst.
Oops I have a new OTP.

Growing older, King and Burst were eventually forced out of the orphanage. Through the years they developed a huge gang that wanted to overthrow the rulers and the government for their cruel and unfair ways.
Why were they forced out?

While gathering supplies up North of the kingdom for a future raid on the castle, a massive Glacier from the North was moved by a powerful God (aka Animus, idk if I spelled that right but they were refers to a magical deities in this era)to descend upon the CanyonWing Kingdom, along with a onslaught of blizzards and snow that appeared.
That's a very interesting idea! I have a fantribe with similar beliefs (associating animus magic with spirituality and the likes), and I know some tribes, like the SkyWings, do too.
How does a glacier cause such a ferocious winter? Moreover, what was the animus' motive for doing so?

King became cryogenically frozen within the snow and ice, until his Kingdom died out.
How? Cryogenic freezing (according to some very rushed research of mine) is when a dead body is preserved with liquid nitrogen in extremely low temperatures, allowing for it to be warmed in the future and potentially "revived". It's not just a matter of being frozen in ice - it's a slow, meticulous process, and the body must be carefully insulated so as to avoid damage from the cold. Inadequate freezing would cause the body to decompose.
There have been cases of bodies preserved over centuries in ice; all of them were dead. It's extremely likely that the cold would've killed him. When a person freezes to death, their veins constrict (thus minimising blood flow), heart and respiratory rate decreases and eventually organs fail, leading to... well, death. Cryogenics preserves the body by slowing the metabolism, thus preventing decay. Freezing kills the body by slowing everything down, until it's completely stopped. Yes, it takes a long time, but it won't leave you alive for that long.

WOW sorry for such a huge extensive paragraph.

COMMENTS;;
------ The good...
I'm not sure why, but I personally find a lot of fan tribes very boring to read about. But with King and the CanyonWings, I can honestly say I was intrigued by the world you've set up. You seem to have put a fair bit of thought into this. I especially liked the "rocky" hybridism mutation. And the character himself is good; nice personality, cohesive backstory, interesting relationships with other characters. He and Burst have a nice dynamic - big strong guy looking out for the shrimpier companion. Nice job!

------ The bad...
His personality is a bit cliched: the brawny character with nothing in his head, ever quick to lash out at others. What is there to distinguish him as a leader, instead of a bodyguard?
You mentioned he stood up for Burst and the other different-looking dragonets in the orphanage out of anger over their situation; it sounds like he's a proactive character, or at least able to act on his initiative. Where's that in his personality?
And then there's the matter of his death - if it can be called that. Cryogenic freezing isn't a simple matter of lots and lots of ice - it's a careful process involving aluminium, liquid nitrogen and vacuums, along with regular checking. It can go wrong verily easily, and when it does, this results in decomposition. He may have been frozen, but that wouldn't be cryogenic. Not unless you had a very unusual winter.

------ How you can improve!
Possibly look more into cryogenics, and actual cases of frozen bodies. You could also expand on his personality, and go into more detail about the gang. There are a few genetic things I pointed out here and there - heterochromia, incomplete dominance, all that jazz.

OVERALL RATING;; 8/10.
Not much to complain about here. I'm so sorry for my lateness.
