'Komoreby' Review
Author: SuVida777
Cover: I absolutely adore your cover! I'm not one for making covers as you can tell by my books and this review shop's cover. I do have one thing to point out. This is more of a personal opinion, but I'm not fond of the 'a must for fans...' text in the right corner. Its more or less something that I would see on the back of a book or as a short review.
Title(5/5): Your title is amazing and weird! I definitely don't mean 'weird' in a bad way. At first, I took time trying to pronounce the word, but gave up. When searched up, it was the first to come up.
Blurb(9/10): Your blurb is great. I really do think you summarized your book well while keeping it vague and interesting. In the first sentence where you have the ellipsis(three dots) I don't think it's necessary. If you want you can split it into two separate sentences or you can simply add a comma. When I see the ellipsis, I'm thinking that something jolting will be said afterward. When that isn't the case, it seems a bit awkward to put it there. The part where you say, "It can't get any worse...until," was fitted well because something surprising was mentioned afterward. Other than that, your blurb was great and definitely pulled me in.
Spelling/Grammar(15/15): Your spelling and grammar were great, and with that said, I have nothing more to comment on it.
Creativity/Originality(18/20): I've read a lot of futuristic sci-fi books here on Wattpad. A lot of them sing the same tune and may deviate enough to keep it interesting, but soon get back on the track. I definitely liked the twists and turns your book took. Evanna moved to a new city and expected to be reunited with her best friend and instead she ended up sitting next to the queen of an entire school. I liked how you added that because it clarifies the fact that people can change. The best friend you knew a year ago at your old school may not be the same person a year from now in a completely different environment.
Plot(24/25): Your plot was definitely intriguing. It starts off with a punch as she gets invited to a party by her best friend. Evie, who dislikes eating meat is accidentally given meat even as she has clearly stated she doesn't eat it. She ends up vomiting up at the party and making a fool of herself, and Anukie pretty much ignores her the next day. Matilda mentions to Evie at the party that something is off about them and the way they act. On one hand, this all seems like typical teenage behavior but in reality something really is wrong.
Reader Enjoyment(24/25): Your book has the feel of something that would probably make a great TV show simply from the vibe I'm getting. Your novel really is promising and it's great! I really did enjoy it.
Total: 95/100
