I was tossing and turning. Nothing could get me to sleep. When I heard him again. Without a second thought, I raced into his room. I got on the floor again to calm him down.

"Look at me, Bucky you're okay. Im here now okay? I'm not leaving you"

Like the last time this happened, I held his hand tightly and ran my hands through his hair. Like the first time, I climbed into his bed and let him rest on me. I kept re assuring him, letting him know I was here for him. He fell back asleep when Steve came in, a little shocked to see me.

"I have F.R.I.D.A.Y alert me when this happens. Is he okay?"

"He's fine now don't worry."

"I'll stay with him, you go get some sleep"

"No I'm fine staying here with him"

Steve was confused still at how I wanted to stay here with Bucky all night long. He left the room quietly and hung at the doorway. I kept hold of him with one hand and ran the other one through his hair still. Steve took a quick photo of what I was doing for his best friend before returning to his room. I fell asleep but never let go of his hand. That morning everyone met for breakfast before Bucky and I woke up.

"Where's (Y/N)? She's usually up by now" Tony asked.

"Well Bucky had another one of his nightmares and when I got there to check on him, she was in his bed, letting him lay on her. Look I took a picture of it"

Steves phone got pasted around the breakfast table as the group looked in shock. 

"I don't know what happened to the two of them on that mission, but I think Bucky needs her and she needs him." Steve said.

"From what I heard, I think Steves right" Tony said.

I awoke before Bucky and saw that he hadn't moved all night. I slowly slipped out of the room and got changed. I found Sadie and got her ready for a walk. We took the elevator downstairs to say goodbye to everyone.

"Morning guys, I'm just bring Sadie out I'll come back and make pancakes."

"Is Bucky okay?" Steve asked. The entire team was interested in what my response would be.

"Yeah he's fine. He's still sleeping but he should be up soon"

A couple minutes later, Bucky came downstairs.

"As anyone seen (Y/N)?" He asked the group.

"Ye she just brought Sadie out, why do you ask?" Wanda said, wanting information.

"I just wanted to thank her for last night."

He went to the kitchen and Steve followed him. Steve was still interested in what happened while we were away and was determined to get Bucky to speak to him.

"Bucky, what happened in them 5 months you were gone. You can talk to me about this, you know that right?"

"Steve... I did the one thing I swore I would never do"

"What is it? Bucky are you ok?"

He put down the fruit in his hand and turned to Steve. There was a long pause before Bucky confessed what was going on in his head.

"Steve, I fell in love with her...."

"What!"

"It's like there's all this darkness and then there's her. All I want to do is be with her. The last 5 month were the best time for my life because it was always something new. From the beach to movies to baking, if she was doing it, I wanted to do it with her"

"Bucky I had no clue, I thought you guys were just friends.." 

"Well she might not feel the same but if she did, I would never take the smile off my face"

He left to go to the gym and Steve returned to the group. He didn't tell the others what Bucky had said to him, he was still in shock over it. I returned home and went to make breakfast. I noticed Bucky wasn't with the others and Steve let me know he was working out. I made him something and brought it down.

"Morning Buck, I made you breakfast."

"Oh hey morning, listen I just wanted to thank you for last night you didn't have to come in and help me, Steve would have done it."

"I told you that I would be with you whenever it happen and I meant that. I'm on your floor and I will help you through anything, okay?"

"Okay.."

You returned to your room to find Nat and Wanda sitting on your bed. They looked like they wanted to talk about something important, and I needed to talk to someone anyway.

"(Y/N) what's going on with you and Bucky"

You ran over to the door and shut it. You took a deep breath before beginning to tell them when was wrong.

"I found love where it wasn't suppose to be.... right in front off me.... talk some sense into me"

The girls jaws dropped. There was a long silence as I freaked out over what just came out of my mouth.

"How long have you felt like this?" Wanda broke the silence.

"Since Christmas Eve, after he kissed me. Thats when I realised it."

"Well the party is soon and were gonna get you looking great"

"I forgot about the party! I don't have anything to wear!"

"I'll get you something, just hop in the shower okay?"

Still freaking out a little bit, I got showered. Wanda took it upon herself to do my hair and makeup. Nat came in with a dress, the most stunning dress I had ever seen. It was emerald green in colour, made from silk. There was a slit along the left of the dress and it fit like a glove. I helped the Nat and Wanda get ready and after that, they made their way to the party.
