"(Y/N)?"

I wiped the tears from my eyes as I turned to face him. He look worried and confused at the same time. He walked over, in some sort of nervous panic.

"Hi.." You tried to smile at him.

"I'm sorry, I blew this I made it awkward and I-"

I had enough and couldn't hold myself back anymore. I pulled my arms around him and kissed him passionately. He pulled me in and fell into the kiss. I felt the weight of the world being lifted off my shoulders. Every time he kissed my forehead, I wished it was more, I wished it was this.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, I really shouldn't have done-"

He cut me of kissing me once again. It was long and passionate once again. This was everything that I have been wanting for months and it finally happened. 

"(Y/N) you don't know know how long I've wanted to do that. Every moment that I spend away from you hurts me. That mission wasn't fake to me. Then tonight. All I wanted to do was go over to you and kiss you but I couldn't. I love you (Y/N). I love everything about you. Your jokes, your hair, your face. The breakfast that you make me, how you made me sing to those songs or how you showed me all those movies. I can't not be around you because it kills me to not spend time with you. I love you and I can't pretend that were just friends, not anymore"

"Bucky.. I love you. I've you since Christmas Eve and I can't pretend anymore either. Thats why I kissed you. I just can't not pretend I don't love you anymore. Every second of that mission, I wished was real. I want this, I really really want this."

"R-Really you do"

"Yeah I do...'

He laughed and spun me around. He couldn't keep his eyes off me and neither could I. The rain started to fall around us. We didn't move. Instead of doing the smart things and going inside, he picked me up and spun me round and kissed me. Eventually after kicking the puddles at each other and running after each other, we went to dry off. By now the entire party was cleared out and the team was drunk.

"Heyyy, Bucky yeah I stole your phone this one time when we went to get you... I found a video thing from Christmas..." Steve said drunkenly . "(Y/N) when you left that room... Bucky said to the camera... 'I love her and one day I'll tell her'... I was definitely not meant to say that"

"After the fort?" I turned to him and asked.

He pulled out his phone and showed me the video. I turned to him with tears brewing and kissed him. In his ear I whispered 'I love you too Buck.'. I may have forgotten that there was a group of drunk  Avengers behind me who immediately started singing 'Kiss the Girl' from the little mermaid. We ran to the kitchen to dry off, or probably to get away from the team."

"What are we now (Y/N)?"

"Well if you would just ask me to be your girlfriend then that would probably answer that question"

He came up behind me and hugged me, still soaking from messing around with me in the rain. He kissed me on the cheek and said:

"(Y/N) (L/N) would you make me the happiest man in the world and be my girlfriend?"

"Of course I will Bucky Barnes"

"This calls for a celebration, F.R.I.D.A.Y play some Queen."

"Are you serious?"

"Oh I'm not the one that sang a love song to someone that wasn't even your boyfriend"

"Oh yeah, it seemed to have gotten me one didn't it?"

You laughed and made hot coco once again and the world around you seemed to pause because of your love for each other.

It was about a year since Bucky and I had first gone on our mission. He decided to teach me to ride a motorcycle, I finally showed him how to make breakfast, we walked our Sadie together, fought battles together and most importantly we loved each other. We had both decided to go back to our beachside town where we fell in love, to see what had happened since we were gone. We made our way to the beach and watched the sunset, the same thing we did on our first day here. This was when Bucky shocked me.

"Doll. I can't imagine my life without you in it. You are a music loving, whole hearted, beautiful and amazing women but the most important thing is, that you love me. I don't ever wanna do anything without you again. From now on its you and me always."

He knelt down on the sand and pulled out a little black box.

"(Y/N), Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?"

You uncontrolabally burst into tears, happy tears, but still.

"Of course I will you idiot!"

He jumped up and kissed me.

"Im going to make you the happiest women in the world"

"Oh Bucky Barnes you already have"
