"Ouch, what the h--?" Sia groaned in an annoyed tone as a pillow was smacked right in her face while she was peacefully slumbering in her bed.

"Girl... you better take your lazy ass off of that poor bed of yours or else be ready for another smack....and this time it's definitely gonna make you see the stars even in the daylight " said the girl with long caramel brown locks well tied in a fluffy ponytail , hands crossed above her chest and staring down right at Sia with those deep dark brown eyes .

"You know what Ira? Sometimes...I wonder whether you're my bestie or have I got myself a secondary version of my mom" , Sia scoffed , still struggling to get a clear vision. " Can't I just sleep for 2 more minutes "?

"Obviously you can . Afterall , you're not the one who's trying to get a job and earn some cash to stop feeding yourself on your Mom's hard earned money " Ira replied ,sarcasm dripping through out the words .

"And FYI ,it's already 9 :15 in the morning .You're gonna be late for your first ever job interview if you're still thinking that you can sleep for 2 more minutes ".

"Whaaaaaaaatttt? It's already 9:15? Shit noooo I'm late...why didn't you wake me up a bit more earlier? " Sia said ,almost screaming with her eyes wide awake now.

"I swear I tried my best waking you up but you Miss...were sleeping like a log . Now don't waste your time complaining and go get yourself ready for the interview.  I'm making you breakfast so you better hurry up " Ira twitched a smile and went back to the kitchen .

Sia hurried herself out of her bed almost tumbling over her own feet. She  made her way straight to the bathroom to get herself ready .

After she was done with everything she quickly took a glance at the clock which was showing it was already past 9:30 . The company who was taking the interview was 30 minutes away from her place and the Interview was gonna start just anytime at 10:30 .

Formerly she was thinking to skip the breakfast but then she realized that her bestfriend was putting so much effort just for her as she never cooks for anyone not even for her own self .

Ira was someone who would rather order then making an effort to cook something but today she was actually working in 'The Kitchen'. It was nothing less than a miracle .

Sia made her way to the kitchen counter which was a mess to be honest as it was covered with flour and drops of some kind of a batter . She was looking out for Ira when a voice called her from behind.

" The breakfast is right here , waiting for you to gulp it down and praise the greatest chef of all time " .

Sia turned around laughing quietly at the words as she followed the voice to the dining table where Ira was standing near one of the chairs with a proud grin and ofcourse a dirty apron .

Ira bowed professionally and pulled a chair for Sia to take a seat.

" Madame , today I'll be presenting you the finest of breakfast you would've ever had in your entire life ."
She said , squinting her eyes slightly she whispered further..." You better praise me well . "

Sia couldn't do anything but laugh at her antics while nodding her head in agreement . She took off the lid covering the food and was delighted to see her favourite blueberry pancakes .

" Oh My God...did you seriously made this for me.." She asked eyes sparkling with happiness inside them.

"Who else do you think lives under the same roof as me " Ira exclaimed

"Awwiee....You're The BEST " , Sia couldn't help but wrap her bestie in a quick tight hug almost making her loose her balance but she quickly recovered the impact .

"Aaaye...Siaaaa...I don't wanna die out of breath due to a tight hug....It doesn't sounds cool for a person like me " Ira said leaving both of them bursting out laughing.

"Fine , fine you're not gonna loose your cool and savvy status....let's not forget I am already behind the time so let's dig in right away " Sia said

"Yupp , let me just bring the drinks to complement my work of art " ...

After having breakfast together Sia was all set to leave for the interview. She thanked and hugged Ira for those amazing pancakes.

"No photoshoots today?"Sia asked...

"Naah...I'm taking a day off . Usually I would never deny to capture those glamorous and hot models in my camera but I was just feeling like I need some break so I'm gonna visit the library later this afternoon and bring back some good fantasy books to read..."

"Ohh...I see . Do bring back the craziest books you could find and some snacks too . "

" Yeah yeah , Just leave already ".

" Byeeeeee".

Sia took her keys and helmet before leaving the house . She was riding her bike as fast as possible without breaking any traffic rules.

She only had 15 minutes left to reach the interview on time and she was confident that she's gonna make it on time until her most trusted partner betrayed her...'her bike'. It stopped right in the middle of the road.

Sia's POV :

"Hell noooooo....Why is it always meee" leaving an annoyed groan I quickly pulled my bike to the side and called Ira for the rescue .

" God , What Am I supposed to do now ? "
I locked my bike and started walking ahead while trying to get a lift as the company was not soo far from where my bike had stopped .

I had already told Ira to come with the spare keys and pick up the bike . So now all I had to worry about was to reach the company on time .

I was trying my best to get a lift by waving my hands up in the sky and almost jumping on the spot but it seemed as if I was invisible to the world or something.

" Fine Sia no one's gonna stop like that...Now it's time for ' Do or Die '"...

I told myself and took a breath when I noticed a black car was approaching me so this time instead of waving hands or anything I just jumped before the car from a safe distance making the car to stop right in front of me.

I didn't know what was going on in my mind but I was definitely frustrated and tensed.

I ran to the driver's side knocking on the window and when It opened thankfully.....I told him

" A quick lift to The VCorsa. Pleeeeaseee..." I said , breathing a bit heavily.

He was dumbfounded at first but after a quick glance at the rear view mirror he nodded a yes.

"Finalllyyyyyy....yesss" . I quickly ran to the backseat and was setting myself in the seat when I heard a deep and husky voice saying.....

"Who are you ?"
