The Editing Mechanics at CLN require that you follow the rules of The Workshop to perfection. Here are the rules that you need to follow:

« Rule 1: Follow CLNighters. We are your gracious hosts who have put our heart and soul into making this experience the best it can be.

« Rule 2: If you request more than 10 chapters, you must give this shop a shoutout on your page. If you request more than 20 chapters, tag 7 more people in your application!

Each chapter can be up to 1500 words, any chapter above this word count will be counted as two.

« Rule 3: You can only request your own books to be edited as this service is for your personal gain.

« Rule 4: You must inform us via pm if you change the title of your book or your username. We won't start searching for you. If our editors can't find the story, your request will be canceled.

« Rule 5: You may request different editors to edit different books, but you cannot request the same book from multiple editors. This is a waste of our time.

« Rule 6: No shop hopping; you cannot request an editing service here if said book is already being edited by another service. If we figure out that you have been shop hopping, you may feel the wrath of the workers. *holds up a golden cog* o.o

« Rule 7: You may request a maximum of two different books at the same time.

« Rule 8: Make sure you fill your form correctly.

« Rule 9: Strictly no bullying or harassment. If we become aware of any rude behavior towards our editors, your request will be canceled immediately.

« Rule 10: Password is the first name of a character from your book.

« Rule 11: We accept books in three different languages (English, Filipino and German).

« Rule 12: Mature and LGBT+ books are welcome!

« Rule 13: Please be patient. Our editors have a life outside of Wattpad and editing takes a lot of time.

«Rule 14: Add this book to both your private and public library so that you can receive post notifications

«Rule 15: You must request editing in a bulk, ie, don't request 5 chapters of a book one week, then another 5 the next. This rule also applies to ongoing stories. You can only request what is already published on Wattpad at the time of your request.

«Rule 16: Failure to complete the payment within a week will result in the cancellation of your editing request. 

«Rule 17: You have to be able to email the editors a copy of your story. The editors can't copy and paste your story, and besides, this would be a waste of our time.

«Rule 18: The preferred way to send us your story will be to copy and paste it onto a google doc. We will have a chapter showing you exactly how to do that and send it in.
