I couldn't think of what to say. So, I said the first thing that came to me.

"Yes." I saw Nico's face light up. I saw Percy's face darken.

"What?!?!" He exclaimed. "You heard me. I said that I will marry Nico."

"Your too young! You're only 16! You can't get married! You don't know anything about love! You can't do this. That's my final answer. No. I forbid it. "

I felt my face heat up in anger. I could feel Nico wrap restricting hands around my waist but, I pushed past them and got in Percy's face. I was seething in anger, all logic and reasoning left my mind.

"What did you just say? You are not my superior. You cannot forbid me from marrying him. I'm almost 17 I can do as I please. You have no right to forbid me. I know that if you could you would marry Annabeth in a heart beat. So I don't want to hear it. I'm marrying him and there's nothing you can do about it."

I turned and ran to my cabin. I was so mad. Who does he think he is? He has absolutely no right to say that. I know he's just worried but I'm not a little child.

I can take care of myself. I trust Nico. With my life. I can't believe that he did that! Ugggg!

I felt the ship set down so I went back upstairs just as coach Hedge blew a hole in the parking lot.

When we looked down the hole, Annabeth was there. Percy and I ran down to the rubble first.

"What's up with you two? You act like you fought."

"Let's get the statue out of here first. When we get back on the ship I'll tell you." Percy decided.

We started lifting the statue and Jason, Leo, and Frank all had to help. Percy,Annabeth,Nico,Hazel,and I all stayed down there. We all avoided the pit in the floor, then Annabeth started moving backwards like she was being pulled.

She fell in the pit but not before Percy grabbed her and tumbled in with her. Nico rushed to the edge but he couldn't  reach them.

Percy made Nico promise to lead us to the doors of death. I let out a strangled scream as Percy fell into the void with Annabeth.

I collapsed and the last thing I though before I blacked out was,"I fought with Percy and I may never see him again."

I welcomed the dark like an old friend.
