I marched forward, ignoring how Wesley's opponent immediately fell to the ground. I couldn't afford a moment of distraction, not with this one.

Mary kept smiling, irritating me. I felt the ground begin to give way underneath m-

My universe now.

hOlY fUckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

hi! Ignore that one. She'll be fine. My name's Mary Sommers. My ability is Fourth Wall Awareness and Manipulation! That's right, I'm a Unique Bearer!

I've always tried to find a way to get my win, but there isn't anything written about it, so I can't do anything! So I suppose I can try today, seeing as there's material being done about this.

Hmm. Okay, okay. Let's move Liz backwards a bit...Right there! Oh, that's beautiful! The announcer will do the rest for me.

I hope you have fun reading about the rest of them Silver Rules! Also, fun fact: Ariane's ability was partially inspired by the anime Soul Eater!

Waitttt, Mary! Sweet mother of Jesus.

I was too late. Her Fourth Wall Manipulation forced me to take a step back into the endless black gap beneath my feet, and she giggled as my mind panicked and the soles of my shoes sank into the darkness.

"Elizabeth Leandro, known as Gamma Liz, is down! It seems Gamma Mary has finally used her Fourth Wall Manipulation to reserve a win!"

The announcer's ability froze me in place, and Mary giggled again as I filled up the space beneath me with sand to avoid dropping into her void of nothing.

"Oh, dear. Sorry about that. Miss Author finally began the story, so I couldn't help but want to intervene this early in the story! Well, I can go support everyone else now. If one of your teammates can get to you, you know the rules!" She giggled again and skipped off.

I was frozen in place for a few more seconds before I heard someone skid to my side.

"I'm here!" Michael's ability immediately canceled out the announcer's.

"And Gamma Liz from Silver is up and running again! Because of rules, she cannot face Gamma Mary again, but she is allowed to aid others!"

"Um, I think Ariane needs help," Michael said hastily. "I need to get back to Aarti now! Good luck!" He ran away again, accidentally interrupting several battles on his way back.

I sensed Mary's Fourth Wall begin its intervention again, and spotted her battling against Ariane. It seemed that Ariane had already taken her opponent down, but Mary had taken it upon herself to distract her again.

I tore off, planting my hand on my ground and pushing myself onto my feet.

"Ariane! Get out of the way!"

She looked up, eyes narrowed, and I stretched my hand out. She understood and leaped up as an arc of sand surged up from underneath my feet.

As she jumped and I surfed the sand, her features began to change. Her legs fused together, becoming thinner, smaller and knobbly, and the rest of her body turned into metal, showing the sword she was changing into.

Mary's happy expression changed as she scowled, bending her knees to launch herself up.

"Not today, Mary!" I shouted, throwing myself off my arc of sand. I realized that although the battles were spread everywhere, our battle was over in a space that was in a disarray of sand, showing the concrete underneath. I grinned suddenly. No one else was here, huh?

I grabbed the Ariane sword and landed on the softened ground, then bounced back up again, creating another wave of sand to catch us.

"Michael!" I screamed.

He looked up, and Bella enabled her telepathy between the two of us.

Me, Ariane, buff, Mary, cancel.

I sensed him understand and he began to run to us, almost tripping over his feet as he tried to increase his speed. Aarti followed, sending one more bolt of ice around his opponent. Several people attempted to attack Michael from a distance away, but they were immediately reflected, and most of them were knocked out by their own attacks.

The ground was getting nearer, and I felt Ariane's grip tense. Since I was usually the one who used her, I knew she was getting ready for us possibly being sunk into my softened ground or bouncing up again.

Come on, come on, I thought hastily.

"Back!" Michael shouted, and grabbed Aarti, throwing him onto my bouncy ground. He flew up, and grabbed onto me. I pulled him up onto my sand arc and grinned as my powers surged.

"Sorry, Mary! I'll unbury you later!"

My sand arc shot up high, and I threw Ariane, her body changing into a spear, then a drill as she forced her way through the spot of concrete I had seen.

"Leon!" Aarti yelled.

A small lizard darted into the hole Ariane quickly finished and snatched her up as she turned into a spear head. He ran out again and towards his sister, who grabbed him up and put both of them in her pocket, grunting as a bolt of invisible, sharpened air hit the titanium shield protruding from her forearm.

"Bye, Mary," Michael smiled.

Then he picked her up and threw her into the hole.

She screamed as she sunk into the softened concrete. I heard the yelling over on the other side of the arena begin to decrease, and the audience screamed and shouted my name as I sealed Mary into the ground, then covered up her place with sand.

"Gamma Liz has defeated Gamma Mary with the help of an Alpha, an Eta, an Iota, and a Lambda! What a twist!"

I panted as we landed and Aarti went to Michael so he could cancel him. As soon as Aarti got within Michael's range, I felt my muscles begin to feel sore, and my ability dwindled a bit.

"And now it's down to Alpha Bella versus Alpha Brian and Beta Sam!"

We looked up, and although the rest of Jackson was down, us from Silver were worn out. Wesley was sleeping, his face tired, and Snow was looking sick. Austin was closing his eyes as Avery hastily healed them all, and Julie was cupping an exhausted orange kitten in her hands. Aarti was also beat, and I saw Ariane stumble as she pressed her hands to her temples. Trent, Chrissy, and Delia were huddled together, and Trent was using sign language, something we'd all had to learn because his sonic sound would wreck his vocal cords. The air around Delia was wavering, and wispy hands were resting on her shoulders, coming in and out of focus. Chrissy's skin was bright red, and she cried out with every small movement.

Although us from Silver Academy were known as the best, they also taped on the fact that we were very powerful. And the more powerful, the more of a toll it took on us.

Which meant thirty minutes was probably a tiny bit of a stretch for us. Usually the only ones still able to function properly were the twins.

I looked at the timer on the sides of the arena, my eyes half lidded. Just two minutes left.

"Do any of you have some juice left?" Michael asked as Bella fought harder again Brian's Liquidification and Sam's Inferno. It might seem like a bad combo, but every time Sam got near Brian, their steam got in Bella's face and distracted her.

"I sorta do." I raised my hand weakly. I looked at Ariane, but she shook her head.

"I can't right now, but I can send you in with a wooden staff," she offered. "I can't manage the sword at the moment."

I nodded. "Okay, Michael, we're going in. Are you coming?"

He gave me a thumbs up as Ariane threw herself into my hand as a wooden stick sort of thing.

"Let's go!" I ran towards the three still fighting, Michael far enough behind to not cancel out Ariane's Weapon.

"Ariane, I'll get Bella to boost you or something. Hopefully she's gotten Aarti's ability by now."

She bent herself a little in acknowledgement as I skidded to a stop five feet away from Bella.

"Liz!" She said, smiling at me.

"Don't look away, Bell," Sam warned, his hand slamming into Bella's face.

"Liz, back up!" Michael yelled.

I didn't even let myself turn before I changed my landscape and bounced off the ground, my eyes widening at the high scale explosion that spread like an oval off of Bella's face and turned the sand Michael and I had been standing on into glass.

"Change it change it change it!" Michael screamed, twisting in the air to face me as the hot glass got nearer.

"Uh - um - melt and cool! Soften!" I shouted.

The glass turned itself back to its molten stage and cooled, keeping true to my order of softening as Michael and I sank into it.

Expel us! Ariane squeaked. I'm dying here!

"Sorry!" I forced the glass to push us out, realizing I had accidentally suffocated my friend for a split second.

"Guys, if you could help-" Bella yelped, before they steamed her face again.

"I'm so pissed!" She screamed.

"Calm down!" Michael scrambled to his feet and said,"Liz, do something!"

"Okay! Uh, Bella, have you learned Amplify yet?"

"Yes!" She extended her hand towards me, stumbling backwards as Sam continuously blasted her with his fire and Brian dampened her skin, creating a steam she tried to wave away.

My body surged with energy as she managed to get within my range, and Ariane grew in my hands.

"Save me some time!" I managed to Michael. He nodded and approached his sister, narrowing his eyes as she saw him and began her spells. She dropped back and he stood in front of her, watching as both Sam and Brian lost their abilities and began to helplessly punch Michael's deflective shield. It sorta hurt to see them wince as their own damage rebounded

"Here!" I said, setting Ariane down as her wooden self began to turn metal and heavy. I jogged backwards as she unfolded herself out into a cannon.

"No, not the full version, do the hand cannon!"

She brought the legs back into her body and began to lengthen and change into a suitable cannon.

High power, best I could get, she thought to me.

"It's fine! Alright, Bella, watch out!" I shouted.

She glanced behind me and quickly bounced backwards as I picked up Ariane and aimed.

The boys' eyes widened, and Sam shouted,"Wait! We'll work something out-"

"And this Domain is over! Since Silver has four Rules in action, they are the victor! Gamma Liz, please point that gun somewhere else!"

Bella must have stopped time, as my hand was suddenly pointing upwards, and the bullet shot harmlessly into the sky. My eyes were glued onto Sam and Brian.

"Just know, I probably would've shot you guys anyways," I told them cheerfully.

Their faces paled, and Sam turned around to barf into the sand.
