Alexander closed his phone and sighed. How was he supposed to do that?

Knock Knock Knock.

He looked up to the knock from the door. He stood up from the couch, and made way to the door.

Who is it?, Alex thought, It can't be Herc. He's still at class. And Thomas has his shift on now. 

He looked through the peephole and saw Eliza and someone else.

He quickly opened the door. "Hi, Eliza." He smiled.

"Hello, Alex. Mind if we go inside?" She asked.

"Uh, o-of c-course!"

Damn it, Alex. Why do you have to be so awkward? Alex said to himself.

"Alex, this is Maria, my dorm mate and bestie. Maria, Alex." Eliza gestured to the girl wearing a red dress, once they were situated at the living room.

"Hi." Maria grinned.

"...Hi." Alex shyly waved.

Eliza whispered to him. "Thought I could bring her since you need more friends."

Alex nodded. He couldn't say no to Eliza.

"So, Maria-" Before Alex could finish his sentence, Maria interrupted him.

"I'm 21, yes I'm older than you." She chuckled. "I major in Culinary Arts. So I can cook, and not burn down the house."

Alex laughed at Maria's humor. "Well, I will."

"Then, don't cook." She giggled. "I'm a junior, like you, even if you're 2 years younger than me."

Alex smiled at his new bubbly and talkative friend. "I like you already-"

"If you're trying to get your pants off with me, you have the wrong lady. I already have a girlfriend."

"No, no! Not like that..." ALex nervously chuckled. "It's nice to find someone else like me."

"Ah, sorry."

Eliza squealed. "YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!? How come you didn't tell me?"

"Well, ya see..." Maria blushed. "It's Peggles-"

"Peggy?" Alex asked.

"MY SISTER?!" Eliza smiled.

"Yep." Maria confirmed, still blushing.

"Angie owes me 10 bucks now." She mumbled, grinning evilly. "Congrats, Mars!"

"Thanks." She laughed.

"You mean John's friend?" Alex asked. The 2 girls looked at Alex, wondering how he retrieved the information.

"How did you know?" They both asked.

"Hehe..."

There was a knock at John's dorm. "Hey, John! I'm heading to Herc next weekend!"

"Why can't I come? It's been so long since I saw Herc." John whined, as Laf entered his room.

"You can come to our next meeting. We have a daatee, soon!" He sang.

"And when is your next meeting?" John asked, closing his drawing book.

Laf sighed. "Since it takes quite a while to go to King's..."

"Yes...?" 

"A month..."

"OH COME ON!" John threw his arms at the air.

"I promise, mon ami." Laf said. 

"Pinky?" John asked, holding out his pinky.

"Yes." Laf intertwined his pinky with John's. "And Peggles is coming next month with us."

"Why?" John asked, curious.

"Peggy has a girlfriend!" He squealed.

"What!? No way!" John grinned, rushing to her friend's dorm.

"Where did you meet?!"

"Since when?!"

"Do you like him? Insert lenny face."

"What the fuck guys. And did you just say 'insert lenny face'?" Alex laughed at his friends. "And, no, I don't like him."

"Sure..." Maria smirked.

"To sum things up, I met him at a LGBTQ+ hate post at Instagram just yesterday and we talked." He answered nonchalantly.

"I fucking hate Henry Laurens." Maria sighed.

"You two should meet!" Eliza chirped.

"As if he wants to meet me..." The boy mumbled.

"You guys would go along well!"

"And maybe even moooreee-" Maria teased.

"Shuddup."
